Hi, I'm 46 years old and took up ballroom dancing 11 years ago. I enjoy dancing and have advanced to a high level. I'm proficient in Latin and Ballroom. I'm very fun loving and like to have a laugh but at the same time I am very focused and willing to work hard. Would love to find a dance partner I can train with. Due to health issues and then lockdown I have not danced properly for a few years. So I don’t mind if you’re proficient or just starting out. We are all finding our feet again!!

I will happily travel and share costs but expect partner to do the same. Seeking a dance partner who will be committed and willing to be flexible with lesson times and locations. My dominant dance is West Coast Swing which I started just before the first season of Dancing with the Stars. I did my basic training under SF Bay Area teachers such as Richard Keer, Randy Krull and Michelle Kincaid (and her late husband, Robert). My favorite ballroom teacher has been Robin Rebello who, alas, headed off to the cow pastures of East Texas to enjoy her retirement. I was a big fan of hers because of the sense of humor she put into each and every lesson.

My second most favorite dance is probably Night Club Two Step. I also do East Coast Swing, American Slow Waltz, Foxtrot (boxstep rhythm), Country Two Step Merengue, Salsa and Cha Cha. And I have shamelessly substituted Country Two Step for a Quick Step many a happy time.

Over the past year, I have come to enjoy the simple pleasure of Cajun Zydeco, which can accomodate just about every figure I can throw at it. And yes, I *still* enjoy free-style, rock 'n' roll and disco dancing which I did years before I every did any ballroom at all. Free-style dancing along with some occasional Blues, dancing really loosens me up.

In reality, I spend most of my floor time East Coast Swing at Zydeco dance parties at Ashkenaz and also in El Cerrito.

I've once tried like hell to do Argentine Tango, and had a great teacher, a manager of tech nerds like me. But failed, though for the right lady, I would give a go once again. (At one time there were a few moves called Swango, but has been lost to the mists of history.)

I am eager to spend time with you at the table getting to know you, long before we hit the dance floor. Food and drink are entirely optional, but always welcome in moderation.

I am a beginning dancer not seeking to compete in competition. Athletic in many ways, I think dancing can be fun and a good work out. With the right person, it can be sensationally fun.

Phase 2,3,4 round dancing in most rhythms. Only mainstream and plus for squares. Both since 2006. Recently started contra. Country western since late 70’s. I travel several days a week to dance. I am usually a pretty good follower.

Looking for someone who enjoys dancing and who has interest in partnering to eventually do either showcases and/or competition. Currently taking private lessons in American Smooth and West Coast Swing. I have competed in Pro-Ams in NYC and Ct. up through Silver level in Standard. I have taken International Standard instruction for the past 9 years (2009-2018). I have also taken Salsa on 2 classes in NYC (Lorenz studio) as well as in Putnam County. Besides Int'l Std and Salsa, I haven taken a weekly group lesson in Advanced Hustle for the past 6 years, WC Swing for past year and Country 2 Step for past 6 months. I would be open to taking instruction with a partner in Argentine Tango and/or West Coast Swing. I am open to practicing in Long Island/Connecticut/Westchester depending on commitment of my potential partner. I really am looking for someone who wants to put time and effort in to working at the partnership and see us grow together in it.

I first started dancing in 1978 in Ballroom classes in college. Then as now, there is a shortage of male partners. I still love to dance. I have learned many genres of dance. I am looking forward to the next one.

Specifics on square dancing. I am a good A-2 dancer. Dancing at mainstream class level would not be a good fit for me. Sorry.

I love dance for sociability and for mental and physical health. I learn from online instruction WCS ECS and others. I am a retired Math instructor. I was extremely shy as a child and well into my youth... catching up on social skills ever since. Accustomed to living self-reliant alone, I married for the first and only time at 63 years... a good 15 year marriage, but as caregiver to my wife the last seven years before her death in January 2023. I am easygoing, gentle, and caring... risk averse, not competitive and don't follow sports. I am happy, healthy, fit and active, and I have always been self-care dilligent. I am debt free but not wealthy; my home passes to step children upon my death. I garden, foodscaping my home and sharing garden surplus.

Have a good sense of rhythm and good form. Do not push people around the floor. Cha cha and hustle are 2 of my favorites, but I enjoy all the ballroom dances.

I have been a dancer since I was 3 and trained really hard until I was 18. After that i had serious injury and couldn't dance as a professional anymore. After many years i feel that i can't live without dances, so i really look forward to any opportunity to come back to dance world.

I have started to learn argentine tango privately with 2 separate professional tango dancers a few months ago including one renowned for shows in various countries. I am about to take part in a professional video shoot with one of them but I am not a professional dancer myself (albeit I started dancing other dances very young).

I'm taking lessons again after 30 years. Back then I took private lessons for a couple of months and group classes also. I enjoy dancing a lot and learning new steps. Now, I only remember a few steps of East Coast Swing, I'm just beyond beginner. I want to learn other ballroom dances also.

I'm a mother of three and with all of them grown and away from home, I feel this is now time to get out enjoy life and with my love of music and desire to dance, I'm ready to sharpen my dance skill. I currently live in the Greensburg IN area but have been venturing to the Cincinnati, Florence and Indianapolis areas to dance.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.
