I moved back to the UK at the end of 2024, from a long period overseas. I used to dance several times a week about 20 years ago (Latin, ballroom, Salsa, Ceroc) but got distracted by the outdoors and other sports. Now I am mainly interested in Ballroom and Latin American for social dancing and lessons. I had been doing classes again for 9 months, until lock down. Currently been back at classes since I have recently gotten back into Ceroc socially.

Favourite dances are Viennese Waltz, Jive & Quickstep but can also do cha cha, rumba, tango, paso, waltz,samba

I am an active person who enjoys people and many sports.

Dancing has been my passion for many years. While I dance many styles, I've only competed in Standard and American smooth. I have been at an open gold level for several years. I've competed in Pro/Am twice a year for 15 years, but have had to work around my family's schedule. Now that my children are in college, I'm traveling to more comps and taking more lessons and coaching.

I live in a Senior Community in Hemet and am looking for people to dance with. I enjoy most forms of dancing but ballroom is my favorite. I also Square and Round Dance. I participate in line dancing as well. I like the challenge of dancing with new and different partners and adapting to their style. I am always interested in learning new dance styles not currently included in my profile so would be happy to partner with someone for a class.

I ballroom dance 4 - 5 times per week & am looking forward to competing & performing more this year! It would be great to meet a guy who shares my passion for dancing and is of a like mind about the sensuality and creativity of ballroom dancing.

Incidentally, for all of you on the fence about actually paying to join this site: It is one of the best values out there , bar none!! Get off the fence & at least join at the Silver Level so you can actually start contacting members...if you are really serious about your dancing, this is the best option out there!! And, no I do not work for them or get kickbacks!!

From 1977-87, at studios in Michigan, I competed in ProAm American style events, Bronze and Silver (4 years as a student, 6 years as a pro with my students; see photo) and did many, many showcases. We had weekly training from the top trainers in Michigan and others who were brought in several times a year, on technique and syllabus through Gold. When I moved to the DC area in 1988, I studied international standard and got my amateur status back in 1995. I have kept up my dancing through the years by attending dances and workshops at area studios, and by attending international choreographed ballroom dance weekends (Phase IV-V). I look forward to meeting others with whom I can share my love of dance.

Attending on average two classes a week, aiming for at least one freestyle every weekend

American-born Asian. Outgoing, educated, travelled. Started in ballroom, dancing mostly east coast and lindyhop the last 10 years. I'd love to find a regular lindy, bal-swing, West Coast Swing or Argentine Tango partner to learn and practice with. Love big bands, swing, jazz and blues. I do alot of hiking in the mountains. I love all forms of dance and am happiest when expressing myself through dance. Performing is important to me, but dancing should be a fulfillment of self. It has been a few years since I danced seriously, but I have always focused heavily on proper technique, which never really goes away.

I love to dance, always have. Got real good about 12 years ago but my partner got married and I stopped. I wish I didn't and hope to start again. We went swinging a lot but I also hit up the latin clubs occasionally and I wish I learned more while I was there.

I've competed once at the Emerald Ball and am hooked. My pro-am partner and I did really well, no firsts, but received medals in 3 Latin dances.

After all these years. I have not skipped a beat and I have danced 2-3 times a week since then. I found I still got it. I cant wait to dance with others to see where I can take it... I have danced Salsa forum 8 years & Tango for 2 years

I've been socially dancing ballroom, latin, CW, swing, Argentine tango for a long time. I love it all and ready to hit the floor after this past year of isolation!

I'm more of a Latin dancer as for my experience but I'm open to doing more Argentine tango and Kizomba. Dancing is fun for me.

Lots of experience with improv dancing, but not formally trained. Background of BS biochemistry and art, grad school chemistry, CTESOL, body therapy, professional tutoring, visual art, acting, singing, and improvisational dance. Looking for someone who loves to to dance creatively, passionately, spiritually!

I have been dancing on and off for a few years, but have never stuck with it. I really want to because a good dancer this year, but I need someone to practice with.

My favorite dances include intermediate level Hustle, Nite-Club 2 Step, West Coast Swing. I also enjoy Waltz, Rhumba, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Tango, and Salsa . I would like to expand my repertory in all. Eventually I would like to learn the beautiful dance of Argentine Tango.

Began ballroom dance lessons two years ago. Did not realize how much I was going to love it!

I’m in the Tampa Bay Area and have been at the bronze level at a Fred Astaire Dance Studio for about three months. I train two to three times a week after work. Foxtrot is my favorite, but I can hang with some rhythm styles as well.

Very interested in practice time for swing dancing...Lindy and East Coast as well as Balboa. I came into dancing as a way to further my enjoyment of the music. Blues also, however, at the moment (3/20) I have ZERO time for dance.).

I'm a size 8-10, and depending on dance style will often wear a heel for dancing which makes me 5'4".
