I did competitive dancesport in college for 2-3 years and my favorite dance was the Viennese Waltz. I want to train and advance in my ability to dance the American Smooth style of V-Waltz. If I could find someone else who is passionate about this dance, that would be ideal. I'm not looking to compete, just learn the more advanced moves (silver and gold level) for the pure fun and joy of it.

I have been learning ballroom dance for last 4 years in a Group class. I am looking for a partner who can join me for Sunday Social Dancing in the community centre.

Then when I was in college I discovered Country Western Dancing and enjoyed the structure & style. My Junior year I went on student exchange to Mexico and then discovered Salsa and many other Latin dance styles and I was completely hooked. I had several year of professional lessons but I really want to improve as a dancer and practice with more partners. I take instructions well, but I'm also a surprisingly decent communicator for the male breed. Leading is never a problem.

Dancing is my dream come true. I am reaching for higher level goals in dance performance. Social dance and weekly practice with a male partner is the only way I can achieve my goals. I am extremely energetic..fast swing, rhumba, waltz and any Latin dance...love all dances and desire to keep learning more Love to laugh and have fun.

Tall, slim and reasonably fit, took up ballroom dancing in my mid teens and started dancing again last year for about three months. Decided to give it up as I felt to make any real improvement I needed a regular dance partner. I enjoy all ballroom and latin american dance styles plus Argentine tango.

We have 3 partners in dance with a possible 4th partner. The first partner is our self. Surprisingly we are often not present to our breath and being in the moment. The 2nd partner is the music which becomes the heart pumping energy with our interpretation. The 3rd partner is the person we share the discovery of the music and style to create our mutual interpretation. It is in the discovery / interpretation that we possibly can find the 4th partner. This is the zone, the moment, nothingness and is spiritual. I can be far too serious about dance, and yes I believe in technique technique technique. It is the the foundation, the water that lets our dance flow. It is in the process, the moment that I can celebrate the chi, the magic of any dance. Currently on the slippery slope of discovering Argentine Tango, which is an incredibly beautiful world. Interesting that I find it at times similar to West Coast as both allow the partner freedom at times to play and create their own dance with out the leader's immediate direction. There is only the moment so let us celebrate it with dance. This "Me" description is interesting for me as it was done over a decade ago. I no longer do ballroom dance, only The Tango The Argentine Tango. I have found my heart and soul in the tango.

Started dancing Modern Jive (Ceroc) in 2006 and competed years ago. Started learning linear Salsa in 2016 and Bachata in 2017, and have performed in a Salsa & Bachata team.

I was a competitive dancer in the Supadance League until recently and I’m still a very keen social dancer. I do ballroom, Latin and a little sequence. I have a private lesson every week and attend social dances and class. I live to dance.

I am returning to Ballroom dancing after a 20 year hyatus to improve my fitness and lose weight. Because I love all kinds of music, I also love to dance many different dances from the traditional waltz to salsa and tango.

First danced Tejano, Disco, some Country Western Two Step, some Salsa and recently American Tango. I'm very interested in becoming proficient in dancing American Tango to surprise my daughter who ballroom dances. I would not consider myself a fast learning, however I'm very determined.
