Hi, I compete in American Rhythm. I trained and competed in Hip Hop dance for many years and started with American Rhythm in 2017. I've competed in the bronze division but this year my coach and my teacher are interested in competing in the open division so we've started training for that.

I currently practice every day for an hour or more. I'm also an amateur boxer at the national level and I approach dance training with the same drive and focus as my boxing training.

I took a break from dancing for five years, and now I'm eager to get back into it. I really miss dancing and I'm looking for a dance partner who's interested in practicing Latin dance. I have a strong desire to come back to the dance floor, learn new choreographies, and continue to improve. In the past, I've had some great achievements in ballroom dance, including winning the Nevada Star Ball in the pre-champ category, Palm Springs etc

My goal is to keep growing as a dancer, set new goals, and achieve them.

10 years of competitive background

I have studied salsa for about 6 months taking private lessons. I need to practice more so if you are around my level and want to practice too let me know. My wife is learning too but doesn't like practicing as much so I need a dance partner.

I have danced on and off for a few years just socially, but have been having private lessons for 5 months, entered two competition events at beginner and novice and done quite well. I work a very varied shift pattern and every other weekend with an amount of leeway, I'm willing to travel to a certain degree.

My ballroom adventure started with dancing alongside the Harvard Ballroom Dance Team in 2013, where I enjoyed dancing with the team captain as my dance partner and mainly focused on Latin. In 2017, I relocated to New Haven for medical training and began dancing with the Yale Ballroom Dance Team. During my time there, I had the privilege of learning standard ballroom from the legendary Bill Davies and once again danced with the team captain. The most recent competition I participated in was La Classique du Quebec, where my partner and I achieved first place in all four events we competed in.

Listening to a grate bit and with the right step dancing it's something that passionately comes within me.

I recently moved to Charlotte from Michigan and am looking for a dance partner to go out dancing with 1-3 nights a week. I started dancing in 2002 and danced regularly, even competed in Las Vegas once. I started a social club and travel business in 2009. The demands of the businesses kept me from dancing on a regular basis, so I haven't practiced much until recently. I've gotten back into it since I moved to Charlotte and now dance regularly again.
