I've been ballroom dancing off and on since 1985. I really enjoy it.

I'm a hardworking and passionate Open Gold/Novice level dancer that trains 5-6 days a week, 2-3 hours a day. I'm quickly growing and am very dedicated to this craft, looking to compete nationally at major competitions.

Dance background

I started dancing when I was 4 years old, casually training in ballet, tap, and jazz until I graduated high school. I picked up ballroom in college and absolutely fell in love. I competed in the collegiate circuit in the northeast in all 4 styles (Standard, Smooth, Rhythm, and Latin) for 2 years, until I decided to specialize in Latin in 2020. Since then, I've been intensely training for about 10-14 hours/per week for the last 4 years and am now in Open Gold/Novice Latin.

When I'm not in the studio training for a competition, I also love social dancing bachata and salsa.

I dance primarily with Atlanta's West Coast Swing Community. I have also been taking ballroom latin and smooth lessons for the last 9 months. I attend various ballroom and swing venues in the area.

I have a ballet background that runs from 4 years old to present I have talked and choreographed for many many students I have taught from ages 4 to 74 I recently received a job at Arthur Murray and because of my ballet background I am able to execute moves very quickly pick up information very quickly and so therefore I kind of feel like I'm starting out ballroom dancing but because of my ballet background I am able to execute and learn very quickly let me know if you need to see a video of my dancing I would gladly send one

I've always loved dancing. it wasn't till recent years that I started dancing Latin styles like bachata and salsa socially, however it's hard to get better with out some consistency.

I love social dancing and private and group dance lessons focusing on American smooth and rhythm since 2009. I dance in the Stamford/Greenwich CT Hartford CT areas weekly as well as in Southern California from Santa Barbara to Orange County. I am looking for a regular dance partner for practice and social dancing in either location.

I got into social dancing roughly 12 years ago...mainly Ballroom and Latin. Was active weekly for roughly 4 years, but life happened and had to stop. Recently decided that I've procrastinated to long...and decided to dust off the old shoes and dance. For now, I want to concentrate on basics, do socials etc...but my eye is on competitions.

I'm a singer so I was around music and dancing all my life but never took dancing classes. I fell in love with salsa recently in Cuba and I had a feeling much stronger than the one that I had when I was singing, so I've decided to really learn it.

Professional lessons for 8 years.. want to improve and perform in competitions

I dance stickily for fun and to be social. I have no desire to compete, but with the dancer studio I belong to I normally do a group or sometimes single presentation.

Have done several classes in Ballroom and Argentine Tango. Currently do Jive. Love dancing and would like a partner to practice/learn tango and ballroom.

I am a figure skater for the past 8 yrs, recently switching to ice dance. Currently completing my gold dances. 2021 competed successfully at Challenge in Regina leaving 3rd for Ontario and 8th in Canada. Trained with my last partner for a short 6 weeks.

Dancing is my passion and I would like to practice until I am the best latin dancer I can be. Eventually, I would like to compete in amateur competitions. In addition, I would like to start learning standard and Argentine tango (inspired by Take the Lead w/ Antonio Banderas).

Looking a ballroom dance partner to practice and compete with in Amateur Standard or/and Latin.Looking for a dedicated partner to create a long term partnership and enjoy an experience of dancing, competing and winning together.Have been taking Ballroom lessons in high school and restarted it in December 2017. I am currently competing in a Latin Pro-Am in Gold level and just separated with a Standard partner who we competed in amateur novice level with due to his relocation to China. Music and dance are my passions. Currently, my focus is on Argentine tango and its variations. I've been dancing it for about 11 years and I'm considered advanced level. Prior to discovering Argentine tango I danced Salsa for 5 years and still love to dance it whenever I get the chance. Lately, I've also been taking classes in West Coast swing and find it a nice complement to the other two dances. Outside of dancing I enjoy hiking, yoga, gourmet cooking, working out, classical guitar, arts & cultural events.

Started dancing in Nov 2019 with no previous experience. Now addicted to competing in American smooth and rhythm and Latin. Love everything about dancing: my Pro partner, learning new steps, competing, the bling-y dresses and the wonderful dance family at y Studio and at comp.

Hello there! I've been dancing for fun since my monthly cotillions starting at age 7, where I learned the basics of swing, waltz, and cha-cha. West Coast Swing was my thing for a hot minute during my teen years, but from my 20s until recently I've been focused on solo dance styles (ballet and burlesque) with some group choreography thrown in on occasion. I've performed both ballet and burlesque many, many times and absolutely love it!

I'm interested in getting back into partner-style dance just for fun. My husband of 10+ years is uninterested in dance, so I'm hoping to find somebody I can dance with regularly to improve my form and technique.

The styles I'm most interested in are swing, waltz, and anything Latin, but I'm open to other styles.

While I'm an experienced dancer, I'm still at a beginner level in partner dance because it's been a long, long time since I've done it regularly. But I learn very quickly and am a very in-tune follower. I live for that feeling of being in harmony with my dance partner and hope to bring more of that into both of our lives!

To note: I am an ardent feminist and liberal with a curious, critical mind. I appreciate these qualities in others — especially the ability to examine and question the relationship of gender to dance.
