I've been dancing and learn one style or other of partner dancing since my senior year of high school. To me, dance is joy, fun, and exercise! I dance for fellowship and fun not really into competition though I have on occasion been encourage to do it as well as teach. I enjoy learning and dancing an extremely wide variety of styles though more proficient in some than other based on regularity of doing that style. Previous style in years past include Polka, Waltz, Rumba, Foxtrot, and Argentine Tango. Recent years (before corona) I've been regular doing Latin dances of Bachata, Salsa, Meringue, and Cha Cha; east coast swing dances of Jitterbug, Lindy, and Lindy Hop. I've spent a little over one year learning the different style of Blue dance style.

I am a dance teacher of American Ballroom, Smooth, and Rhythm dances. I've been doing that for over a decade and love it! I have danced tango for 10 years studied with many teachers and many private lessons and done a lot of tango training (practise over the years) have had a break for a few years. Just need to practise a bit to get back into it and have done ballroom dancing, salsa, bellydance, creative dance and 5 rhythms and I have been dancing most of my life. I began my performance career as a singer and performer of opera and musical theater. Unfortunately, in my last semester of college I sustained a voice injury that prevented me from continuing to pursue singing professionally. Because I had extensive training in musical theater and dance, making the transition to ballroom was fairly smooth. I have always been completely devoted to becoming successful in anything I do, and since dancing is my passion I intend on reaching the highest level with a partner equally as determined. I take coachings regularly in standard, and can provide videos of my dancing if requested. I have been told I am at high level, especially given how long I've been dancing.

I have been dancing for over a year and am moving into open as of January 2023.

I plan to specialize in international styles and would like a motivated amateur partner willing to go professional in both international and American styles.

I train in the gym 3 days/week and dance 10+ hours/week in the studio.

Dancing is my passion and I strive to express that passion in my dancing. I like all the dances but focus on International Standard. I enjoy WCS and Argentine Tango as time permits. I social dance now but prefer to have one partner so we can focus on improvement.

I used to be a competitive ballroom dancer (International Standard, International Latin) around 20 years ago. Now getting back into dancing + learning Salsa.

I moved to CA from WI in 2002 order to be closer to my Standard coaches, Victor and Heather Veyrasset, and am currently being coached primarily by Victor. In terms of dance, my passion is clearly Standard, but sometimes I also play around with some other stuff just for fun socially: some Latin, ECS, WCS, Salsa, Hustle, NC2S, etc. I am interested in having a partner who is either a pro or an amateur; I just want to dance and experience the intrinsic bliss of masculinity, femininity, musicality, and movement entering into a blissfully resonating oneness. I am open to competing Rising Star or to having an amateur partner and competing pro/am with her. I am also open to not competing at all and just practicing and dancing socially together or in shows, though I would prefer someone who wants to be serious enough to work toward mastering standard and maximizing both beautiful and blissful movement.

I've been dancing on and off for 8 years, mainly in international latin (cha cha, rumba, jive, samba). I am British and trained in London with world top 50 dancers, but have only been able to dance concertedly at certain periods of my life, so am not as good as I probably should be! I'm fun and friendly, and love dancing.

I danced growing up and majored in it in college but it wasn't really partner dancing. I pick up movement easily, am athletic and am looking for someone that is willing to teach a quick learner who is committed to the process but wants to have fun. My aspiration would be jitterbug/lindy hop or something a bit more active. I'm open to about anything.

I used to compete in my twenties in Latin in the U.S. Now I take more private lessons because I love it, more into smooth dances now. Just want to dance all the time!

My primary background is in musical theater dance. I started swing dancing around 2008 and started teaching a wide range of ballroom styles in 2022, competing professionally for technical proficiency through full silver. I'm passionate about rhythm/latin styles, but I enjoy studying and performing everything.

Ballroom dancing 20 years, some competition in adult am-am in International Standard earlier.

Have had two steady partners; 3 years and 7 years. The first was competition focused. A great experience, but in retrospect I prefer a wider dance experience than the close focus that was needed (for me anyway) of competition.

The second and longer experience was even more rewarding, as that partner came from a country-western background while my experience was all ballroom. We shared an interest in West Coast Swing. We both learned a great deal and had some great times meeting in the middle and expanding both of our dance worlds.

I dance almost everything socially, and I love that there's always more to learn. i like ballroom, country 2-step and West Coast. I would learn more Argentine Tango and Blues with a regular partner, but I don't agree with the trend of specializing in a particular form of dance to the exclusion of the others. I enjoy the wide variety of dances.
