I have danced all International latin and standard dances for approximately 20 years then corona hit and I stopped. Now, I seek a lady with whom to relearn dance, have fun, share ideas, social dance, and possibly compete, though competition is not at the forefront of my attention. I am willing to study all dances for International Ballroom (Prefer smooth but also latin) Argentine tango, Swing and Salsa and Bachata. I am semi-retired which limits my time but I would like to dance up to twice a week, two hours a day. On a personal note, I am educated, sophisticated and cultured. I do not smoke, gamble, do drugs, or play games.

Really want to learn some partner dances. Just looking for social dancing and fun, not to compete.

I've competed in International Latin at various levels over the past 8 years. I moved to NYC from San Francisco 3 years ago and have been competing (am-am in Pre-Champ and Champ Latin) and training with Tatiana Banko (earlier with Olga Rodionova). While I'd love to try competing in Theater Arts and Salsa, Latin is my primary focus.

Hi, I'm a social Latin and Ballroom dancer (for over 10 years), with a little bit of competition experience. I'm open to Salsa (have experience), West Coast Swing (have done a few workshops) and similar styles. I've had to take a break during Covid and would like to get back into dancing.

Ich habe zuletzt im März diesen Jahres Turniere in der HGr B STD und HGr C LAT getanzt.

Ich tanze v.a. um der eigenen Verbesserung willen, habe einen hohen technischen und musikalischen Anspruch. Turniere nutze ich v.a. als Fixpunkte, um das Training zu strukturieren. Der Spaß Training und der gemeinsamen Weiterentwicklung ist, worauf es mir ankommt.

Dabei ist mir wichtig, nur auf Turnier zu gehen, wenn man auch austrainiert ist. Daher würde ich gerne zwei bis drei Turnierphasen im Jahr planen und dazwischen genug Zeit, die Grundtechnik zu verbessern.

Mein Hauptfokus liegt auf Standard, ich würde aber gerne auch weiter Latein tanzen.

Mir liegt viel an meinen Trainern, der Verein ist aber natürlich verhandelbar.

Intermediate salsa dancer. Beginner waltz, cha cha, samba, jive, bachata. I know figures beyond bronze but I'd really like to properly learn technique and build on my foundations. I would like to do a competition in standard or latin bronze, though not sure what the timeline and training schedule would be.

I am a ceramic artist/teacher who loves to dance. I like Lindy, Salsa, Ceroc and Argentine Tango. I am a good follower and very easy to lead as I am very light on my feet. I have a kind and patient disposition so I am ideal for someone who wants to improve. I have recently been dancing Rumba, waltz, quickstep and cha cha cha. I particularly like Rumba.

I compete open Gold in Smooth, and Latin, I also enjoy social dancing with a regular partner but I am not very comfortable asking women to dance since I moved to North Carolina because it seems that it is mostly couples here. I try to do 3 or 4 major competitions a year and a few showcases just to work on different things. I'm always up for learning new dances and I recently started dancing Peabody.

I'm interested in learning different dance styles. I recently started taking ballroom lessons and plan to continue learning. I train in ice dance and roller skating. I love partnered dance and am looking for a partner to train with. I have learned different styles and holds through ice dance (waltz, tango, foxtrot, cha-cha). These holds and partnering skills translate well to ballroom.

I started dancing through modern and ballet decades ago. I started skating a decade ago. I compete competitively in solo ice dance at the pre-bronze level. I take partnered ice dance lessons weekly in addition to solo ice dance lessons (pre-bronze and bronze levels).

New to ballroom,looking for a partner to practice

I began dancing when I was 17 years old. I quickly found that I had a passion for ballroom and shortly thereafter joined the competitive circuit. For four years I competed in ballroom dance collegiately for Purdue University and then UNC – Chapel Hill. My love for ballroom continued to grow during my time competing. I took every opportunity I could to dance which shortly led me into a professional teaching position. After years of intense studying, competing, training, and coaching, I now teach over 30 different styles of dance.

During my years of competitive and professional ballroom dance experience, I began to realize that dance, more than being entertaining, is an incredibly powerful form of expression. Dance allows you to feel things about yourself and about the world around you that you may have never experienced before. It allows you to express yourself in a genuine, meaningful way simple words just can't.

Perhaps most importantly, I have come to realize that dance is a medium through which you can release stress, anger, frustration, sadness, turmoil, uncertainty, and depression, along with many other emotions. Dance encourages you to understand yourself, to acknowledge and engage with your emotions, and find healing to grow past longstanding obstacles.

I have founded Move with Grace with these ideas in mind. In learning how to dance, I put great emphasis on the comfort of my students. We all have different pasts we’ve overcome, challenges we face, and goals we hope to achieve. I believe that ballroom dance is an art which can facilitate great change in the lives of individuals, and it is to this end that I now teach one of the world’s oldest art forms.

I have been dancing East Coast Swing for about 1.5 years, am considered a beginner +. I am interested in learning more East Coast Swing moves as well as related (i.e., Lindy hop, West Coast Swing) dance moves.

I started dancing Jive and West Coast Swing 2 years ago.

I started studying Argentine Tango 4 years ago and have loved it ever since. I have no formal dance background, but have significant background in martial arts and fencing.

Standard: former US novice champion and Pre-champ finalist, winner of various pre-champ events in the California area, championship level finalist in California area competitions.
