I spend my time in Saltash building a boat about 7 days a week! I am lucky in that I appear to have good rhythm so most dance comes fairly easy to me, I have not danced much ballroom for a long time, lack of partner, but I dance a lot of modern jive/ceroc and now learning Tango and would like to combine the best of both as jive danced gracefully and Tango can both be very inspiring and emotional. Cagun dance is great fun but sadly not much if anything happening in the West. Just started back at RnR after a lapse of twenty years in Plymouth great fun and very friendly crowd there.

Dancing aside it would be great to meet someone who also liked sailing or riding a horse.

Looking for a partner, with goal to compete (prefer USDC but honestly it can be any). I have danced ProAm in the past. For the last four years I have been strictly doing AmAm. American Smooth (silver). Latin (open gold). Nightclub. Cabaret (we had one performance dance with lifts). Averaging about 6 to 8 comps a year.

I have been out of the competition scene for about 6 months. I do competitive sword fighting, and have dumped most of my new found free time into that sport. However while i was competing in dance, my partner and i still practiced about 5 times a week. My AmAm partner split was tough for me and I needed a break. Ready to get back to it. Sempre adorei ver outras pessoas dançando e, em determinado momento, consegui me matricular em uma escola de dança por um ano. Na época, experimentei as danças de salão, mas a experiência não durou muito. A partir disso, decidi experimentar outros tipos de dança, principalmente as latinas, que descobri amar. Infelizmente, devido às minhas condições atuais, não posso me comprometer com uma escola de dança regular ou aulas particulares, já que isso não é economicamente viável.

Por isso, decidi procurar uma plataforma onde pudesse encontrar pessoas com objetivos semelhantes: encontrar um parceiro de dança para momentos ocasionais de dança, treinamento e socialização. Apesar de não ter muita prática em técnicas de dança, tenho musicalidade e me saio bem com as danças latinas. Sinto que tenho facilidade em acompanhar os movimentos propostos, apesar da minha limitada experiência em dança técnica.

Recentemente, tive uma aula particular de flamenco, mas foi apenas uma. Além disso, comprei alguns patins quad para praticar alguns passos. Embora ainda esteja em um nível muito básico, estou progredindo.

I always loved the feeling of watching others dance. I enrolled in a dance school for a year and tried ballroom dancing, but the experience didn't last long. This led me to try other types of dance, particularly Latin, which I found to love. Unfortunately, due to my current circumstances, I cannot commit to a regular dance school or private lessons, as it is not economically feasible.

As a result, I looked for a platform where I could connect with people who shared similar goals - finding a dance partner for occasional dance moments, for training and socializing. Although I do not have much practice in dance techniques, I have musicality and fit well with Latin dances. I have a sense of ease in following the proposed movements, despite my limited technical dance experience.

I recently had a private flamenco lesson, but it was just one. Additionally, I bought some quad skates to practice a few steps. Although I am still at a very basic level, I am making progress.

This site is very quiet compared to what it was before Covid, hope dancers re-discover it and contact each other!

I am passionate about dance, would do it professionally if I could! Health and fitness is very important to me since everything we can and hope to do hinges on our health - dance and fitness go together. I am strong without injuries or disabilities, so lifts, dips, drops, slides.....everything is possible, but always according to my partner's preference.

I maintained myself throughout covid and still know how to dance..... I work, and dance evenings and weekends during the summers but am completely free in the winters, and I like to cruise. It would be nice to find someone to practice with, and dance, on cruises. I'm going from Rome to Buenos Aires in November and possibly, from Buenos Aires to Venice in March 2024. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of Argentine Tango - but I do most ballroom, latin and swing dances too.

May do a cruise over NYE in the Caribbean as well. I'm in NYC and Florida from time to time.

I was taking Salsa, Bachata, Argentine Tango and a tiny bit of Kizomba lessons prior to Covid and would love to venture out again. I would consider myself as still a beginner.

I have been training with a competitive ballroom dance champion for the past five months, dancing an average of 5-6 hours a week. I am looking for a new partner who is interested in technique but still likes to have fun.

Music is the only thing that really captures me. I want to partner dance to better feel the music. I think partner dancing would be an ideal social exercise for me. I danced for years in elementary and middle school and can hold a beat and anticipate music. I hope to not overcomplicate the learning process. 37 years of Ballroom Dance

International standard dancer, danced throughout college and recently realized how much I missed dancing. I have been taking lessons for about 6 months to re-train, but need a partner to really get back to it!
