I just figured out how to update my profile. Now I need to figure out how to upload some recent pictures. They keep rejecting them saying they’re not the right size. I am not techie at all LOL I started learning two-step and swing in March 2014 with Ed Failing at the Cowboy Palace in Chatsworth. I joined Square Dance clubs in the San Fernando, Simi Valley & Santa Clarita Valley in September 2014. Now Feb 2022, I am a strong A-2 Square dancer (girl) and okay (boy), I’m learning C-1. I was a good beginner Phase ll and lll round dancer in Two-Step, Waltz and Cha before Covid (need a partner to renew). I would like to learn more round dance but lack a practice partner. I also need a partner for square dancing (dances, workshops and festivals). My country two-step, swing,waltz &Cha Cha has fallen to the wayside the last couple of years but I would like to get back to that now. I also have interest in Victorian Dances, East Coast Swing and Lindy. I have been doing some social ballroom dancing and I’m told I follow well but I need someone to practice with. I’m not looking for someone to date....I just want to dance!

My 4 year dance partnership has just come to an end and I am looking for a new amateur partner to take lessons with, practice and possibly compete. My last competitions were in American Smooth at Gold level. I've been taking dance lessons for about 6 years now and would like to keep improving my technique and performance skills, learn more difficult routines and styling. I am a quick learner and a good follower, and I have a great musicality and sense of rhythm. We can dance anywhere in NoVa or MD/DC area.

Danced at family parties my whole life but want to learn to dance with a partner.

I've taken up dancing a few times throughout my life, but as of 2019, I've stuck with it, and I'm taking it seriously. I'm tired of taking weekly classes, with sparse opportunities to practice, drill, experiment, and improve. I want to advance my repertoire, exploring moves and figures that require too much practice/focus to learn to be included in drop-in lessons. I want to practice until we display effortless expertise on the social floor. And if an opportunity for competition comes up, I wouldn't object to that, either.

I am looking for a dance partner who will be willing to partner me at social dances, lessons and dance weekends away. I enjoy ballroom and latin, Rock & Roll and least of all Ceroc, even though I do go for the social aspect of dance. I am willing to try any style of dance. I have been dancing for 8 years and have obtained my bronze medal in ballroom with a pass of highly commended. I am open to obtaining further medals but am quite happy just practicing and dancing together. I would also like to have someone to go to social dances with me which normally means going to church halls and dancing to CDs but I love it that much I will go anywhere; but also there is that element of having fun. I have had some lessons in salsa, bachata, tango, cha cha, tango, waltz and I would love to learn more. I have natural rhythms being from the Caribbean. I know the basics and I catch on quickly.

I performed in ballet shows for many years, partnering since I was 8. I took some ballroom classes many years ago, but am still actively taking ballet classes. I miss partnered dancing and would love to get out there and dance socially.

I'll need some lessons, and am open to any style of dancing really. I imagine I'll be a fairly quick study, however, given my other dance experience.

I'm not opposed to entering competitions, but that would have to wait a while.

I started out as a social dancer. Slowly, I began to train and to compete in both International Latin and Standard.

For Latin, I have competed in various of competitions. At the USA Dance National, Novice category, I placed final once, and semi-final last year. For Pre-Championship level, my previous partner and I got into quarter-final last year.

My Standard is at Silver syllabus level.

Had a partner a few years ago for private salsa lessons but hurt my foot so I had to stop. I miss it greatlyso would love to find someone to pick it up again. Used to train twice a week about 2 hours each time and go practice in clubs too. We can try and see if we are a good fit, and take it from there. Hope to hear from you soon dream dancer! Hi dancer! I've been doing a lot of salsa/bachata dancing for around 15yrs, I've also taken west coast swing and hustle which I dance them lately regularly, I'm a beginner in ballroom latin which I do little ocially, hoping to train more and possibly perform/compete
