I've danced for many years. Hip Hop, folk Caribbean, African, Freestyle, Brazilian (Capoeira dance). 5 years in Salsa and Bachata mostly street style (cuban) salsa and Bachata for social venues. I need to practice as often as possible. Occasionally I work with teens teaching dance as a means of anger management and also I am a dance fitness instructor. In general I just enjoy dancing and learning as much as i can. enjoy traveling overseas and learning from native dancers. recently just returned from Belize with its diverse ethnic mix of people and styles. really fun place.I also work for resorts, "Life with Andre King"

I'm looking for a someone I can enjoy dancing with. I danced socially for several years until I divorced 10 years ago. My favorites are foxtrot and waltz. I also enjoy swing, tango, rumba, and cha-cha. I started going to dances with a friend, and I'm signing up for some private lessons to get back up to speed. I enjoy yoga and reading. Loves twirling and spinning the night away in dance halls to the mind-lifting sounds of salsa or swing, or hip twisting and popping to the soulful sounds of bachata. Competed up to the silver level and done well.

I recently moved to San Diego from Boston and am looking for a dance partner to train, perform, and compete with (however I'm flexible on those for the right partner).

I'm 5'3" without shoes and 5'6" with, pretty slim but curvy figure, strong dark features with strong presence on the floor. I have 5 years of dancing and competing experience and did extremely well. Am up for training with a professional coach and taking private lessons with the right partner. How much we perform and compete is negotiable.

Although my experience is mainly in International Latin style, I have recently tried Standard, Smooth, and Argentine Tango and absolutely love them. I am therefore open to those styles for the right partner.
