I competed professionally in American Rhythm in the early 2000’s and taught until 2011. I changed careers and now am ready to get back into dancing and teaching as a part of my nutritional counseling private business.

I began dancing over a year and a half ago and have competed twice - both locally and regionally. I endeavor to compete more often and currently dance 6 times per week for approximately 1 hour per day. Looking to go out dancing, meet new people and have fun!

I first took ballroom lessons in my early teens as an extra curricular activity at school. Later I learned to Jive at my local youth club. But by late teens I was dedicated to Swimming and Water Polo and continued until I was 50 when I took up Modern Jive with a partner. We danced MJ together for 12 years until we parted ways. At this point I decided to try Argentine Tango and have been hooked ever since. Ten years on I now have a wealth of experience thanks to the many great uk based teachers and countless visiting Argentine teachers to Liverpool and Manchester from the tango Capital Buenos Aires, courtesy of the Northern Tango Academy.

I've been single for a while and am not in a hurry to jump into a relationship for convenience sake. Six years of lessons in ballroom dancing, both American and International. Silver level in the six basic ballroom dance styles. Basic steps in Hustle, Mambo, Night Club Two Strep,West Coast Swing, Samba, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep. Currently, each week, I take lessons at two dance studios, have a private dance practice and go to a dance most Saturday nights.
