I have an extensive background in ballet (classical and jazz) and have danced for several years, taught dance and was a member of the Royal Winnipeg ballet for three years. I have recently found the world of International Latin dancing and enjoy all forms of this genre, including jive, chachacha, rhumba, tango, merrengue, mambo and salsa. I am planning to round out this repetoire with waltz,tango and the quick step in the near future.

I also like music (jazz and classical), theatre, dining with good conversation and a little wine and would be willing to have a friendship along with dance practice.

I started Modern dancing at the age of four years until thirteen years. I took a break, then did Spanish dancing for six years. I started Argentine Tango in 2006 to 2008. Then took it up again from 2012 to 2016 where I competed in the amateur section in the silver and gold divisions in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Through immigration and life changes, I haven't been able to pick up dancing in Perth yet. I'm really looking forward to putting my dancing shoes back on again!

I envision the choreography when I hear music, and sometimes the music/ dance is so perfect for a partner. Therefore, I would love to dance with a partner sometimes. I am not officially trained in dance, but I have a tendency to borrow things that I see. However, I have had positive feedback on my dancing, so I thought maybe I should rate it advanced but only socially not in a competition sense. I like to dance for fun, to express my creativity, and to get exercise (best most fun exercise ever). I like to dance a lot - more is better for me, but I do not need someone to devote a ton of time to dancing together.

I have danced socially 10 ballroom/Latin dances plus salsa and LeRoc for 20 ish years. Dance partner recently had to give up for Illhealth reasons. I would like a regular partner for lessons, social dancing and possible competition.

I was dancing regularly about 10 years ago when I was in grad school. I liked it and worked at it for about a year and a half and even competed in international ballroom at the newcomer and bronze level. During that time I learned other partner dances like salsa and hustle, which I enjoyed very much!

I danced and placed in closed silver & gold at the collegiate level and am interested in competing as a hobby. My goal is to enjoy this hobby, with an emphasis on improving as a dancer, experiencing competition, and moving up in levels.

I have been taking part in ISTD competitions and various pro-am events over the last few years. I would like to go back to the open circuit competitions - Senior 1 (I am currently dancing in ISTD under-35 category and making Finals). I have Gold Star I medal tests done in both Ballroom and Latin but Ballroom has been my preference over Latin and primary focus for the last couple of years and I have invested a lot of time and effort to work on open figures and technique.

Right at this point I am primarily looking for a dance partner for Ballroom only but I am open to considering doing Latin again. My latin technique is currently weaker then my ballroom but only because I took a long break from it.

I am prepared to train 3+ times per week.

Ok, let's start by the beginning! I dance since I was a kid watching Michael Jackson on MTV with my mum, then I heard about Cuba, I watched 100 times Dirty Dancing and Grease. Later around my 20 I wanted to learn Salsa but never took the time to do it. So after 7 years in Canada I ended up in Bulgaria and I have taken some class in a ski resort, and now I dance Salsa Cuban and LA style and Bachata. I organize the party every Saturday, workshops and classes and my goal by 3 years is to win a contest as Bachatera that's why I need a bachatero who would to live in Bansko and train 3 times a week to get prepared for championship :)

My teacher used to compete in International Ten Dance so that's what I'm learning now, with some other dances (hustle, salsa, swing, etc.) thrown into the mix as well once in a while. I'm doing gold steps in many of the dances, but I feel I would have much more confidence in my dancing if I had a steady dance partner with whom I could take lessons and practice. Though I wish I could be the type of dancer who could dance with anybody, all I really want is to be able to dance well with one person. Competing once in a while could be fun too with the right partner.

I do go to movies,see plays at times attend philharmonic sometimes, love long walks etc etc and (without shame I still am very romantic and still believe love can happen at any age. I have grndkids and see them regularly but not too often to keep me from enjoying my life now. I'd love to find a partner in life to share days and evenings. holidays and hopefully blend lives and families if we choose. BUT to Share the joy of Salsa and other dances would be just perfect!!!We certainly do not have to be attached at the hip sooooo dancing with others is nice too. I've been dancing since 5/2019. I have a very good instructor & taking private lessons as well as group lessons. Don't have much exposure outside of the dance club which I am currently going almost 5 nights a week. I love Argentine Tango. I take it very seriously & I want to find a good leader to enjoy and excel further at it.
