I am interested in finding a dance partner. I have been taking ballroom dance lessons for several years. My reason for starting the dance lessons was to have fun. And I am!Now I want to dance more than just during lessons.

I enjoy dancing, and would like to find a partner who lives in town all year around. Katie Belle's has reopened, so maybe we can dance there. My favorite dances are Night Club Two-step, Waltz, Foxtrot, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, ChaCha, Hustle, Country Two-step, and Rumba.

Since moving from Northern VA (lived in Arlington, Falls Church, Fairfax, Alexandria, etc.) to The Villages, I've met a whole lot of dancers, as this place is definitely a place to dance. All types of dancing is done here. If you're thinking about moving to FL, and are concerned about heat in the summer, yep, it gets hot, but there's plenty of air conditioning, and it helps! And you'll have no more windshield ice scraping, or driveway snow shoveling! Great trade-off!

I'd like to take some more dance lessons in several dances, if I had a good partner to practice with. There are many great places to dance here, and there are many classes offered. You can dance every day here if you want to.

I would like to find a dance partner who is a good leader with a good frame, who follows good dancing technique, and is gentle and doesn't squeeze my hands.

15 years social ballroom dancing. I've taken some private lessons recently and concluded that I need a partner at my level to practice with and to take the instructed silver level maneuvers to social dances. As I figure it, that means my partner and I gotta be willing and able to drive towards each other, attend classes. Then meet up and spend time practicing, plus meet up to attend social dances. Competition is an option, but I've only done the Michigan Senior Olympics.

Hi. I have danced since I was about 5 years old and absolutely love any kind of dance. I have studied tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, pointe and clogging. I used to compete in hip hop and clogging solo. I teach hip hop. My favorite partner style is currently country two step (being a country girl from Oklahoma) but I also like swing, salsa and ballroom. I am really open to any type of partner dance style. I have great rhythm and am a very quick learner due to my years of solo dance experience. I would say I am novice/intermediate in partner dance as I have never competed in this field, but definitely not new to dance and would be considered advanced in solo competing in my line of dance. I just want to get back into competing again and think partner would be a fun way!

I started taking ballroom dance classes about four years ago. Since then, I have had one competition at beginner's level at the Holiday classic in Las Vegas. I have performed in several showcases at my studios, dancing waltz, Viennese waltz, Night club two steps, Bachata and Argentine tango. I still take classes in ballroom and Argentine tango every week and I social dance on Friday and Saturday nights with my instructor/dance host. I love to travel domestic and internationally; some on ballroom dance cruises.

My teachers during my college years were Natsuko Yoshida, a former Japanese champion, and Daisuke Masuda and Mami Tsukada, current Japanese champions.

I have always wanted to lift a Brirish Dance Championship Trophy and I believe I have what it takes, I have always been very athletic and still retain a high level of fitness.

I ran for over 40 years or more, played badminton (twice a week) for 25 years, I have done power-walking and for the last 15 years returned to dancing.

As a teen growing up in Detroit in the mid-late 60's, I honed my soulful dance style to the hip Motown Sound. Moving to Boulder CO in the 70's, I began teaching Tap dance, slow dancing, African dance, and "Afrobics" in the 80's.

My background started when I took gymnastics for 6 years. Then I took a Congo class in 4th grade. group in San diego really start ballroom until college, where Over 3 years I leaned the basics of many dances. I also took ballet for a year and some months, tap one semester and jazz one semester. After I graduated I got married and had my husband take a latin dance class for a semester, as well as learning Argentine Tango. I divorced and took a few random dances at the community center in Oakland. After a few years of moving to Virginia, I was asked to audition for Ferocity Dance Company and Was put in on the amateur team, competitive. From that day i got really into dancing for a year, taking Bollywood, Bachata (like sensual and dominican most), Salsa on 1 and 2 with ladies styling footwork workshops. I didnt make the advanced Lindy hop team but Im intermediate wanting to learn aerials. I also want to learn aerials for salsa also. I also committed myself to flamenco every week, did some more Argentine Tango classes and had a private ballroom instructor named Uttara at Dance with Penache working mostly on Rumba American- Smooth, Cha-Cha, and Salsa where we learned almost all the bronze moves.

Now I have been in reno for a couple months. I have been learning virtually with Cecilia Villalobos (aka DC Salsa Queen) we are learning Afro-Cuban movements, Rhumba Yambu, Salsa on 1, and dominican bachata. I am interested to learn the Samba and Jive. I am looking for someone close as I do not own a car.
