Done some beginner's ballroom over the years. Recently gone back to classes- would love a regular partner.

Ballroom dance is my hobby. And I am a keen amateur. I like to learn the dance in an efficient way and emphasize the importance of fundamental skills yet with the best expression of musical characteristics of each dance. I would like to share my passion for ballroom dance with some one who has the same understanding of ballroom dances.

I am looking for a dance partner to do social dances with, and maybe spend some time working out some routines together.

I used to dance frequently but my dancing has lapsed a little since my wife / partner died a few years ago.

Have danced a fair amount recently but looking for a regular dance partner to connect with and to be able to enjoy the dancing fully and to in its entirety.

Contemporary dancer by education. Some experience in zouk, bachata, and ballroom. In addition to the dance degree, I have a master degree in sports psychology and coaching, and I am a personal trainer. Since age 15, I’ve been teaching groups and individuals at all levels in a variety of sports and movement disciplines, yoga, and meditation. I’ve been an actor at the National Theatre. I am now part of a contact impro dance ensemble. My dream is to create sensual duets, rooted in deep listening. I would love to combine different dance styles, like contemporary and zouk. I want to explore and find our unique flow, create a nurturing partnership, and for us to have a life style where we thrive and dance is the essence of it all. Regarding language, I am fluent in Norwegian and English. I used to speak Portuguese when I lived in Brazil, so I can probably relearn that quite quickly, and I am open to learning Spanish and French as well (I know some of the basics).

I started out at stepping out studios in NYC in group classes. The teachers there inspired me to dance and I never left. After moving up from basic then intermediate then touching some advance i decided to do strictly privates where I now dance and perform with my instructor..My latest type of dance is acrobatics which is amazing. I'd like to venture out show my partner movies I know an have her show me what she knows teach eachother and let the dance just take us.

I competed for the first time at DanceFest in Waltz in Newcomer and Bronze category. My partner and I placed 2nd.

I also compete in Latin at Newcomer/Bronze level, and got 2nd in Rumba and 3rd in Cha Cha. Currently learning Samba.

Would love to find a dance partner. I am a very positive,outgoing person and enjoy many activities, however, I have to admit that dancing is at the top of the list. I was born and raised in Ireland and spent four years in Liverpool before coming to U.S. My son is 27 and now it is time for ME.

Wanting to dance more socially, improve my skills and potentially compete if the opportunity arose. I'm a little bit different in the fact that I'm legally blind. Regardless of this, I'm quite a competent dancer and a fast learner.

I'm taking lessons again after 30 years. Back then I took private lessons for a couple of months and group classes also. I enjoy dancing a lot and learning new steps. Now, I only remember a few steps of East Coast Swing, I'm just beyond beginner. I want to learn other ballroom dances also.

I started ballroom dancing (latin and standard) in 2006 and danced seriously focusing on latin until 2014 when I temporarily had other priorities that took over. I am now looking to resume dancing, preferably latin dances. I prefer someone with clear goals who aims to work towards competitions.
