I danced for 18 months with a dance instructor. I love everything about ballroom dancing. I would like to practice and train with a partner to social dance with.

I took ballroom in high school for 2 years. I am knowledgeable of the Silver Syllabus for Waltz, Cha Cha, and Rumba. I am currently taking lessons once a week at NRG Ballroom and currently preparing myself to compete in Gold Amateur for Rhythm.

I love to dance socially. I have danced socially for about 20 years. I can dance anywhere I hear good music (in a ballroom, on a cruise ship, in the mall, even on a sidewalk). I am not afraid to be the only one on the dance floor. I enjoy American style waltz, Viennese waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango, Argentine tango, east coast swing, west coast swing, disco hustle, salsa, merengue, bachata, cha cha, rumba, bolero and samba. Dance, like life, is all about STYLE (i.e., presentation). While Jitterbug is an appreciated dance of fun, the preferred is the mix of dances found in an Amore, Pittsburgh Ballroom or Orchard Hill Dance.

I have been taking lessons for eight years. Typically two personal lessons and a group lesson or two per week. The pandemic changed up my schedule. Although I am an engineer/scientist by trade, I really enjoy the arts: music, concerts, opera, theater, art. I am very active, energetic, and adventurous. Enjoy tennis, skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, jet skiing, kayaking, etc.

I am a typical Aqaurian fun loving a little eccentric party animal who has a passion for music and dance. I enjoy working out regularly at home as I am a qualified Personal Fitness Instructor. I train every other day using an abs machine, core training on the ball, Zumba, and Yoga.

I have some experience of Salsa and Argentinian Tango. Recently I have been getting into Lindy Hop, so I am just a beginner. I know what difference it make having a regular practice partner. Ideally this would be someone in Bristol, but I could travel a little.

I danced collegiate ballroom for 4 years alongside East Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, and Salsa. I have competed in collegiate International Standard at the silver/gold level. Dabbled a bit in open. Big fan of foxtrot :) Mostly just looking to practice and get some exercise, but I could be open to competing.

I am a gay male. I lead and follow in the one-step, two-step, shuffle (three-step, triple), shadow and country waltz. I lead in West Coast Swing and have recently taken up Salsa. I am particularly looking for both male and female partners for practice and to go to dance venues and conventions. I’m looking for a lady to dance standard with. (Willing to dance other styles to round things out and have fun, but standard is my main focus on the competitive level) A good feel and fit with each other is more important than any level obtained or number of years danced. Ballroom lessons, social dancing for about ten years; Argentine Tango lessons, social dancing for two years. Was spoiled on East Coast, dancing 2-3 times each week. Very few dancing opportunities this past year. Truly missing it!
