I/'m very passionate about dance and love it with all my heart. In fact ballroom dancing is the greatest passion of my life. I/'m looking forward to participate in different dance performances and compete to win. After seeing a showcase by Bob Powers & Julia Gorchakova and James & Janna Kunitz I/'m more dedicated then ever to take my dancing to the next level. Unfortunately while I have an awsome American style coach there/'s not much as far as Latin so I am forced to go to either the Bay area or LA for my training. I taught dancing for Fred Astaire dance studio and Arthur Murray dance studio as a young man. I have taught privately in various clubs and in my sub-division and when my wife was alive we taught onboard cruise ships. We belonged to The River Oaks Dance club, Two Left Feet Dance Club and the Mainland Dance Club and others over the years. These were formal and non-formal Ballroom dance clubs. Without a partner, I have had to leave all but the Mainland Dance Club.

I have danced country-western as the basics are about the same as ballroom dances and there are a lot more C/W dances in this part of town.

I keep in shape and work out three times a week. I also play tennis at the Metropolitan Racket Club 2-3 times a week. I am retired and live alone and my daytime hours and some evening hours are pretty open to learning more dancing.

I enjoy cruises and have about 26 cruises under my belt. I, of course, go mainly for the dancing. Our best friends are also ballroom dancers and we travel together a lot.

Not much to say really. I like to dance. I love to hustle. I lean to hustle in my early years. Every change I get I will hustle. But now I hear music I say to self that is a good hustle song. I like the disco beat and some slow ones too.

I'm new to this site and not sure exactly how people use it. I am specifically interested in meeting people to dance with when I am in a new location (I'm traveling a lot at this point in my life). I've been told I'm a great follower. I've taught social and line dancing as well as aerobics for many years.

Hello, if you've read my stats, then you know I'm very tall. I love to ballroom dance, and have (a long time ago) been a good square dancer. I'm not a paying member here. However if you read close you may be able to pick up a contact method. It would be great to find a dance partner and more once I relocate to OK> david is what many call me. Tennis is my other favorite thing to do. I used to have a see doo and get to the lake when I can as I also enjoy nearly all water activities. My dream gal would be a taller lady. However if you are even close to 5ft 8in, I would wish an opportunity for us to dance together and maybe more.. I find dancing very romantic and when we flow together, well, it gets me going. In the last year or so, I have not had time to do alot of ballroom dancing beyond beginner level. And I have discovered I've lost some of my steps I once knew. I don't tolerate smoking or drugs. Social drinking is okay, but not while dancing. On my life outside dancing the lady should enjoy holding hands and signs of affection in public. I have danced for 4 years from age 6 to 10. Than I resumed dancing as a hobby about 2 years ago at my college ballroom dancing club.

Started dance as a kid with a little ballet (I think some of it is still with me); then learned some from a HS teacher as a teen. Always enjoyed watching my parents dance although they never had any formal training. Didn't really do much during college. After that worked at different jobs and sang in a dance party band one year. Finally thought about what I really loved and became a ballroom dance instructor at independent studio for about 4 years teaching beginner/Bronze level and started training at Silver and a little international. Strained my neck outside of dance and took a break cuz I didn't have insurance. My neck is fine now and I have resumed teaching PT with my former HS teacher once in awhile! Never really had a partner who matched my ability. Would like to achieve that now so I can dance interesting routines to songs I love and progress in my strength and abilities. Am open to competition but my preference is just doing great routines or performances to great music of all kinds! I don't really care if we present or not. Just want to create great dance experiences!

proficient in WCS , Hustle and Salsa. i love social "lead n follow" dancing and continue challenging myself with group classes and privates. I need a practice partner to share, create ,interpret ,hone the craft, do a strictly , spotlight a routine, whatever. By the way, I am open to expanding my horizons in ballroom too. Besides the dancing and working full time; I am a P/T singer doing small gigs (weddings, restaurants, private parties) AND I'm back in the gym trimming down to a 32-34 waist getting ready for MADJAM!
