I started Salsa dancing a little over 4 years ago and it is pretty much the only dance style I know. I consider myself an intermediate dancer, but I also acknowledge that I have far more levels to rise up to than what I have accomplished so far. I have been performing with a college based latin dance team at public events (for about 2+ years) but I like social dancing more.

I am not super ambitious with Salsa dancing and would like to focus more on the social dancing aspect of it. That being said, I do want to improve my dancing style, my stage presence, my presentation and pretty much become a better dancer than what I am now. However, dancing is just one of the pursuits I have (albeit one of the most important ones), so I won't be able to commit to more than twice a week of practice, with regular social dancing thrown in. More than anything, I want to keep learning new and challenging stuff.

I'm looking for social dance partners. My goals on the social dance floor are to have fun, connect, and make my partner look good by following with style and musicality.

I have performed at the intermediate level in salsa, bachata, and cuban cha-cha-cha and participated in lindy hop jack-and-jills. Now that I've been partner dancing for several years I spend most of my time social dancing. Would love to find more practice partners.

I love to two step and swing/lindy. I danced a lot in college and then married my wonderful husband who hates to dance lol! Just looking for a buddy to go out and cut a rug with every now and then.

I have enjoyed dancing and teaching dance for more than 25 years. Unfortunately, like most women, I don't have a dance partner. I have taught with community ed on and off for over 20 years, and have enjoyed helping people feel more comfortable with dancing. Line dancing, couples country and social dance along with clogging have been my favorites. I also waltz and polka, but my new love is cajun/zydeco dancing!

I love American Smooth dances.. waltz. Foxtrot, American tango and Vieneese Walrz, Nightclub two-step, Cha cha. I am open to learning Argentine Tango. I enjoy cruises once or twice a year. Social dancing locally the rest of the year. I enjoy performing with my dance teacher and would enjoy dancing with my own partner... but it is perfectly OK if performing is not for you.

Dancing has been my passion since I was a child. When I found ballroom 18 years ago I discovered I love practice and training almost as much as I love competing and performing. I have trained in International Style Latin and Standard and I have an interest in American Smooth.

My dance history: I've been an active partner dancer, primarily latin dances (salsa, bachata, son, cumbia, etc.), since 2004. Have focused mainly on Cuban style salsa (i.e. casino), son, etc. Have taught in San Francisco during the years 2006-2010. Have performed during the years 2009 - 2012. Traveled to Cuba for dance immersion workshops twice. Can dance on any step (on1, on2, on5, etc.). Generally a good sense of music/musicality (I also play Jazz piano).

I have taken a number of group dance lessons in Modern Jive, Jive, West Coast Swing, American Tango, Argentine Tango, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Samba, Westchester Foxtrot, SocialFoxtrot, Rumba, Lindy Hop, and Country Two Step and very much enjoy listening to music and dancing. Music and dancing reaches right into the very heart of me. I very much enjoy dancing of all types and would like to get more proficient at it and learn more dance types as well including Mambo, bachata, and other types. My main dance is Argentine Tango. I learned in Cambridge with Eric & Rebecca, then in Philadelphia, and then in NYC with Adam & Ciko. I have always wanted a practice partner. I just feel most alive on the floor!

My husband and I began ballroom and sequence dancing 6 years ago and he was better than I but we both loved it. He has died suddenly and I so want still to dance but I recognise that I will have to adapt to a different partner. I particularly enjoy tea dances and lighthearted lessons. I also do line dancing. I do need practice opportunities to master steps and have ready access to premises where this can easily be achieved.
