Like all Austrians, I learned the basics of ballroom dancing before graduating high school. I only really started getting into it about ten years ago, when I was introduced to competitive ballroom dancing in the US. I've been dancing and competing ever since. The past 2-3 years, I have been competing in B-Class Standard (Senior) in and around Stockholm, Sweden. I really like dancing as a counterpoint to my day job as a researcher, and I appreciate competitions since they give me something to train toward.

I'll be moving to the Hannover/Braunschweig area later this year, and I'd like to keep dancing and competing. It's a casual hobby for me, and not my only one, so I should mention that I'm looking to commit on the order of 3-5 hours per week, and my ambitions are modest.

I belong to the world of dancing because is a life style, by mean of movements (moving the body, dancing) we can achieve, we can make many things we ourselves and others, Dance is a form of enhance our spiritual life; I like the Ballet, modern Dance, dancing alone, but as partner I dance Latin Jazz Salsa, Cha-cha, Tango, Hussle and Disc Music; I even dance in a special place, in ice, I make figure-skating and I make personals coreography. I enjoy dance with partner who HAVE ( not only like dance) to dance but I like too dance as part of a choreografy where I can dance in group. I live the music not only dancing but as performer too.

Started dancing salsa in 2005. I've taught classes in LA style on1. Currently dancing On1, on2, and Cuban. I also dance some Cha cha cha and Bachata Dominican style. My goal us to perform.

Only a little experience in dancing, so looking to practice and learn moves. If you are a salsa dance instructor that charges for lessons then this is something that I would be open to as well. Eventually wanting to take what I learn from practicing to use in social environments, salsa clubs, etc.

I competed in both Latin American and Ballroom during my adolescent years. I took a break for some 15yrs to complete my education and have a family. I started back dancing over a year ago and currently dance with my dance teacher. We are working towards pro am cometitions but I would like to be able to grow in my dancing with a partner and compete on a regular basis.

I love dancing Batchata. I attended around three lessons but still not able to practice since I did not find a dance partner.

I've done collegiate competitive ballroom for 6 years. Recently, I competed in gold collegiate and novice open levels. I'm mostly proficient in Latin, but I do know some standard and would like to improve it. I'm also an instructor at a nearby ballroom studio. I train under Morten and Mira Jensen. I would like to practice 2 hours a day, 4-6 days a week, but that is flexible. I have unlimited access to the studio to practice at. I'm planning to get my Master's degree at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, so I can't move but I'm willing to travel for practice if you happen to be far away. With the University of Arkansas Ballroom Team, we do travel to comps, but I'm open to doing more than those with the team.

I am a bronze level dancer looking for a partner interested in training to compete and to go out and dance locally. My preferred dances are rumba, cha cha, hustle, bolero, foxtrot and waltz. I know quite a few rumba/cha cha/bolero and hustle patterns. I am currently training with a coach to improve my overall technique. Making some progress. I only started salsa & bachata 2 months ago so I am a novice in those dances. My greatest strength is that I practiced a LOT of lead-follow, so if you can lead I can dance :-)

Teaching dance is more than a passion for me. It's a calling. I've been a partner dance instructor for almost 8 years and was a student for 3 years before that. As a student, I competed all over the US. Now a pro, my focus has shifted to true lead/follow social dancing and performance routines.

I love to dance. It amazes me when I think about how much fun I have had along the way and that my passion keeps growing each year I continue. In 2010 I performed in the International Grand Ball for the first time. What a fabulous experience that was. I have competed before in the Fred Astaire Dance Showcases, however, the IGB was an experience that has really motivated me do more competitions and has shown me just how much there is to learn from dance. I have been trained in American Smooth and Rhythm as well as International Styling. I have been told by other dancers that what they like the most about me is my patience, tenacity and sense of humor when things get tough.

I started to dance in 2003 and then gave a break in 2008. In that period I worked on Latin American dances, modern dance, swing, Argentine Tango, salsa, belly dance. I was working with a dance company but for some private reasons I had to quit dancing.

I work in different fields such as medicine, translation, art but I realised that dance is the only thing that makes me happy and I would love to put it in the center of my life again, so last year I re-initiated my dance life and got an instructor certificate of Latin American dances. I like to dress up for tango. I am very agile and would prefer an Argentine tango partner but I enjoy dancing in general all kinds of dances. I am a good follower and could travel to Naples, Sarasota, Nakomis where Argentine tango milongas are held. I frequently take lessons and attend USA dances in Ft. Myers and really interested in finding a partner for Argentine tango lessons, it's my favorite dance. I wouldn't mind having a partner to dance with socially as well. I enjoy dancing tango, cha cha and all the latin dances. Ballroom dances are also my forte. To mix it up a little, I started taking tap lessons, very new at it. Love it!
