College Lindy Hop lessons several years

Retired however I like to work part time as long as I can travel and dance whenever I want to.

I was once was heavy into swing for years, Lindy Hop and East Coast, until about 3-4 years ago. I have taken many classes & privates over the years with Steven Mitchell, Ryan & Jenny Thomas, Eddie and Eva, David Dalmo, Marcus & Barbl, and many others.

I've been to Herrang, Sweden, nearly all of the Swing Camp Catalina's, Bean Town, Swing Out New Hampshire and many more camps just to name a few. I am now heavily into salsa and currently taking classes with Enio & Teryl over at Let's Dance L.A. (The Granada).

I am not an amateur, I have performed in movies, t.v., stage, but I would not call myself a professional either.

I am looking for a male dance partner competing in International Latin category. I am also interested in Latin American Show Dance. Currently I live in Hungary (Budapest) but I can relocate. My motto is "impossible is nothing" therefore I deeply believe that every goal is reachable if somebody fights for it.I would like to develop my dancing every day with a hardworking, highly motivated man along a serious training plan. Aiming for strong partnership, highest quality, results and would like to bring something unique for the audience.

My most immediate goals and ultimate wish: I would like to practice a lot and take coaching lessons with my dance partner that I am looking to find through this website, or having first met in person or by a referral, so that we can compete within 6 to 8 months of having started working together in a Professional division or at least in the Championship level in Standard or Smooth. There are also Holiday Corporate events and a few other various events coming up that I would love to be able to do some dance shows/demonstrations with my partner (to be found). This would be a great opportunity for a professional to get market exposure and to show off and possibly get some people interested in working with him/us. We can use another male teacher here too as an option. :)

My dance background: I am very passionate about and am very expressive in my dancing, move smoothly in Standard and sexy in Latin, have great balance and lines, as well as a contagious enthusiasm. :) I’ve been taking dance for many years and, in addition to the International Standard and Latin and American Smooth and Rhythm, I have studied a variety of styles from jazz and character dance (Flamenco) to acrobatic Rock-n-Roll, ballet and modern dance. Right now, I continue taking private lessons in Standard and Latin regularly(from Victor Veraysset and Nadja Eftedal, Olga Bogdanov, Jean Marc Genereux and from other great coaches). I am a single male, who enjoys salsa dancing. I am intermediate level.

I have taken ballet on and off the last 7 years, 10 years on and off in musical theater. I've only recently found my passion in ballroom dance and want to continue to practice and train with the right partner. My biggest love is Argentine tango but I still love Waltz/Viennese waltz, bolero, salsa, rumba, and am open to learn and incorporate other styles into my repertoire for contemporary routines and I'm very interested in picking up Int.Smooth and Int. Rhythm. I just had my first dance competition and would like to still pursue dance competitively. I do wish to state that I will be leaving for Ireland on an internship from Jan, 9 219 - March 10, 2019. But I will continue with lessons so I wont be rusty when I return to the states. If I find the right partner before I leave, then I'd like us to hit the ground running once I return. I am very dedicated at improving my dancing and learning as much as I can as long as its with the right person.

I Have a BFA in film & television. I love video games, film, books, art, theater, writing, making people laugh, good conversation & learning new things. I'm an empathetic hopeless romantic, and a dreamer. I have a drive and ambition in me that won't let me give up. My desires burn a hole in my soul unless I pursue them. Iam always eager to learn or to help.

I have been taking ballroom dancing classes for four and a half years and have been in six competitions. I enjoy both the social and competitive aspects of dancing, and feel it provides a nice balance to my fitness activities (I'm also a runner and cyclist).

I take lessons at a great studio and the instructors and my fellow students have become like an "extended family" to me. Everyone is upbeat and enthusiastic, which makes the whole experience fun. I have a great teacher; Emily constantly challenges me and does a great job of providing a positive and fun atmosphere in which I can learn. The sky's the limit, because we're constantly expanding our horizons and planning for adding to my repertoire of dance steps.

Currently I dance all four American Smooth steps, seven American Rhythm steps (East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa, Mambo, and Merengue), all five International Standard steps, and three International Latin steps (Cha Cha, Rumba, and Jive). I'm also now working on Bolero, Paso Doble, and Samba, although I have yet to do them in competition.

I mainly social dance salsa and bachata but would love to get back into ballroom as well. I work in downtown San Francisco during the day but want the opportunity to dance more. I started dancing ballroom in college learning the basics of waltz,foxtrot, salsa, tango, east coast swing, two step, cha-cha, rumba, and more. Lately I have been focused on Salsa and Bachata dancing at clubs.
