My late husband and I danced 2-4 nights a week for 25 years. It was our life. We went to several workshops, including NTA, around our area and taught couples and line dancing in our area. Life without dancing has broke my heart. I line dance, which helps, but would so like to find a dance partner.

Ballroom dance is my hobby. And I am a keen amateur. I like to learn the dance in an efficient way and emphasize the importance of fundamental skills yet with the best expression of musical characteristics of each dance. Having been a spectator to quality dancing for most of my life, I decided it was time for an indulgence, a private dance lesson!! Improve dance techniques

I dance to the beat (as contrasted to the "form"), 6- or 8 count, incorporating moves that bring pleasure in their execution. I have been told that I am a good dancer. I am a strong leader and seek a dance partner who understands what "frame" is about. I enjoy dancing to the big band music of the 40s and 50s and to the blues. I seek out dance venues that offer live bands.

I have been attending dance venues in Philadelphia, Lancaster and surrounding areas in Berks, Bucks, Leghigh and Montgomery counties outside of Philadelphia.

I am open to hosting you in my home if you live a distance for which it would be impractical for you to return home after an dance. In the Fall and Spring, I am open to attending a dance with you if you live a distance too far for me to return home afterwards. In my "younger" days, I hiked and backpacked. Today, roads are my trails and my mini-van is outfitted as my tent and backback.

I have always been musical and dance is an extension of that. If dances don't open up again soon, I'll have forgotten everything which is not that bad as I enjoy dance classes. Dancing is a great way to socialize and a terrific way to spend a night out but if I don't keep dancing I lose the steps- both ballroom and Latin. Ballroom tango was my favourite except I don't remember any of it!

I have taken some hip-hop classes. But Learning Bachata for the past year. Would like someone to practice with so we can get better.

Have danced about 30 years; competed 14 yr at OH Star Ball and other competitions (pro-Am and amateur couple), but very few from 2001-now (usually small local comps). Am interested in social dancing, having a practice partner, possibly 'showcases'. Have done open Am Smooth and Standard routines, competed at Gold Std level in past (pro-Am). Really love to glide to foxtrot music and have fun with salsa/mambo. Have dabbled with WCS and hustle, not as proficient in those but enjoy them. I'd like to dance more and set goals, but am not so much interested in making it 'hard work'. I like a variety of music (for ballroom), and also jazz and 'funky' music; not so much interested in country-type dance/music. Enjoy the feel and expression of dance and like to feel a good connection with my partner. I first remember dancing when 5 years old, and the only 6th grade boy who would dance with the girls. I have always enjoyed free-style and than discovered a love for Ballroom dance. I have been told I have good balance and rhythm with many of the different dances which thankfully make-up for the many still to be learn steps. I am an available single man who is young at heart, spirit, and physicality. I look forward to our first dance.

When I was younger, I loved to dance and even competed in various competitions. However, life took a different turn, and I stopped dancing for over 20 years. I miss it deeply, as dancing was such an important part of my life, and I truly enjoyed every moment of it.

Looking to learn how to dance and meet people

I have been dancing on and off for many years, but not actively. I took plenty of classes but only danced socially infreqquently and mostly with my ex. I want to get back to social dancing and to recover my skills to at least an intermediate level. I'm planning to resume taking dancing lessons too.

I've been dancing since youth from tap, jazz to folklore, ballroom and latin, freestyle and bellydance and basic burlesque. Enjoy dancing in nightclubs. My passion is Latin dancing. Taught by professionals and experts.

I truly have fallen in love with ballroom dancing! I grew up dancing and lived vicariously through my girls as a "Dance Mom" when my daughters both took and excelled in dancing. Currently, I take private and group lessons as a single gal here in Columbus and perform at events in which the dance center facilitates. I enjoy performing and would like to improve my dancing, learning more routines and eventually be good enough to compete. For now, I enjoy the socialization and exercise it provides, plus the ability to meet new people.

I own a dance studio in the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio. We are currently looking for gentlemen who would like a career as a dance instructor for our studio. I am looking for an instructor for the studio, as well as a Standard Ballroom Dance Partner. In the midwest we mostly teach American Style, but I love Standard. We would like to find someone who is interested in teaching DVIDA Syllabus, and is a part of the team, including social dances, formal events, private lessons, group classes, competitions, and travel.

I began dancing socially in 2001, competed with the Purdue Ballroom Dance Team under the instruction of Nicole Carroll and Dan Rutherford from 2004-2006, and began a career as a ballroom instructor in 2012. I've competed American Smooth and International Standard since 2014. I am open to becoming an International 10-dance competitor, but feel Standard is my passion and forte. I am now a studio owner and looking for an employee as well as dance partner. I would like a partner to learn with, take coachings with, and compete with regularly. My primary dance experience is in standard ten-dance ballroom, having danced on and off for the last 20 years. Most recently I've been dancing regularly (3 - 5 times per week) for four years. I also enjoy Argentine Tango (two years), and salsa and bachata (two years).
