Have taken some dance classes but it's been years...looking to get back into it!

I am a successful financial advisor, live & work in West Los Angeles. I love to dance & learn to dance well Salsa, Tango, ballroom dances and other dances. Idealy have been interested to find a partner to learn how to dance and practice with for social dancing. I am fit, work out in the gym 3 times a week, hike. I am into art, opera, concert, movies, dining and gathering with friends. I am also learning to play bridge.

I have been social dancing for about ten years, 4-6 times a week and continue to learn. I'm competent in sequence, modern waltz, new vogue, tango, cha cha and rumba

l love to swing jive at our 1940's club. l went to ballroom dance as a young girl. I can find my way around the dance floor with any partner. The hardest dance for me is the fox trot. l like to take cunard cruises where i know there is a great dance floor . l do not like disco dancing. l occasionally travel to California so could dance there too!

I was a ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop dancer for almost 8 years. I started Latin ballroom dancing in October 2023. I have been Latin for 8 months. I want to practice every week all my Latin dancing routines. I have achieved up to silver level and I work extremely hard.

My background was ballet but now I would like to learn more in salsa classes and try other types of dance like swing.

I have been dancing for quite sometime but was never really trained in style. I was a ballroom teachers assistant so I have a lot of dances down but really want to compete. I have been in two small competitions and placed 3rd, and 2nd. I have such a PASSION for dance! It’s all about the connection!

I started my dance experience with partner skating at age 9 and continued for 4 years. Switched to Tap, Jazz, Ballet wasn't serious about my dancing until I was 19 since I've taught at Fred Astaire from 2008 to 2014. From then taught consistent independently to current. I still do contract work for dance studios when needed. My goal now is to dance at a high level with the hope of someday being an invigilator or judge. I'm open to possibilities but serious work and goal oriented are a must. I'm really interested in any style however I do focus on Smooth and Standard. Hard work with a focus on movement, connection and creativity are my favorite things! I work as a corporate pilot. I don't fly a ton and have lots of time for dancing. One of the reasons I like the job! My schedule can be erratic and unpredictable at times though. I have spent years in the details and finer points and would love to have somebody to share them with. All while having a balance of just fun and letting go through movement and dance. I am serious about my dancing and long term goals. I am open to conversations of any possibilities for working together.

I've been socially East Coast swing dancing since the 1990s in college. Then at the Derby in Los Angeles, and various swing and hangar dances. My regular event nowadays is the 1940s Ball in Boulder, but I am hoping to get more into regular dancing, including Balboa, Shag, Charleston, and East Coast.

I am taking one on one lessons once a week in ballroom smooth, and doing once a week group classes in Salsa. I have taken lessons for 1 year now and am told my level is Bronze.

I am hoping to find someone with whom I can, or we can, refine and perfect those things we are learning .

I love any kind of music and dancing is my passion since childhood and teenage times.

Dancing is my happy place. I’ve been taking lessons for a little over a year before Covid. And I’m ready to get back in the “Swing”. So far I’ve only taken Swing Dance lessons. But I am open to learning many other styles of dance. I am serious about learning the standard steps but not to the extent that it takes away from my happy place.

I've been dancing for 2+ years, and I love it. I am actively competing now on a regular basis . I work with an instructor 1 hour per day 6 days a week.

I am looking for a partner for social dance, and I would like to improve my dance skills. I've been dancing for more than five years, and I think that I am at the immediate level in Waltz, Rumba, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Swing, and ChaCha. I am in good physical condition.

Iv been a dancer since I was a teenager. Now I like couple dancing: Argentine Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot, Two-step, One-step, Swing, Blues. My style is my own, as it should be, IMO. It's expressive and nuanced. It doesn't adhere to the standard. Some of my partners think it's pretty good.
