Easy going with Zero background in dance. i am totally new and i want to learn dancing and practice dancing and get good at it

It is self-improvement skill that i am after and i am trying to enhance my skills in life not just dance. as stated zero dance moves here but i am willing to learn and improve as much possible i can.

Hi everyone, I have been dancing for about 2 years as well as teach. I have been interested in competing and performing for a while now and I finally decided that it is time to do so.

Wow, a lot has changed since I started in December 2010. I'm essentially a salsa enthusiast and it's my primary focus. I've done a few performance teams, trained with several salsa dance companies throughout Boston, and have social danced in some really awesome places. I still feel like my skills are just developing, despite occasionally being called "advanced" in the area (I don't think I am; I'm intermediate as far as I'm concerned), and I'm currently squeezing in private lessons to give me material to practice with since being a full-time graduate student keeps most of my weekdays filled.

I have been dancing: American style ballroom, salsa and WCS for over 16 years. Focused on Argentine Tango including training in Argentina.

Now I am interested in practicing and training for competitions in International Standard as I moved to this with weekly private lessons on and off for a couple of years.I am about to compete in the Autumn Classic ( first time). I would like to find a practice partner..and if the partnership works, for future competitions

I danced and competed regularly until the age of 16. I have continued to dance on and off ever since. I have been having regular lessons again for the past 4 years I also help to teach beginners ballroom and Latin classes. I just love dancing. I am more proficient at ballroom but also do Latin.

I have been a teacher since 1992 and worked in the UK and overseas. Dancing and teaching is my high. It is a wonderful experience seeing people become social dancers over a period of time

Currently taking dance review lessons. Have taken lessons previously. Looking for someone to Dance with at lessons and out dancing in social situations. Looking to improve my dancing.

Tall, slender, dedicated standard and smooth dancer. I am currently transitioning to open smooth on the pro-am circuit. I have competed in am-am in the past and would like to compete in more USA Dance competitions in the future. I have experience competing in Latin, but I do not currently consider it a priority for me.

I've been dancing for about 11 years for fun. I have taken a variety of classes & private lessons in most all types of ballroom dances including, Salsa, East, West Coast, NC 2 step, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Argentine Tango, 4 count, Hustle. I've also taken some belly dancing lessons/workshops & Hip hop courses for about 2 years. Attend social dance functions twice a week to keep in practice.

Lately, I can be found at the dance studio in Redmond & Bellevue at least twice a week attending private/Group lessons and social dances. I am also sometimes in Seattle.

I've been dancing for a couple years now, was taught intensively by a well known studio for 6 months of that, almost daily. Been told I'm a very fast learner. Now I just need someone to dance with. Interested?

I also like to dance Cha Cha, Nightclub Two Step, and Waltz.

I’m 5’2 (157.4 cm) without shoes and 5’4.5 (163.8 cm) with shoes. I’ve studied with Colin James and Vesko Matakov. I’ve danced for 9 years and have been competing since 2010. I can help with accommodation in the New Jersey area, but I am willing to relocate within the USA.

I may be petite, but I've got plenty of punch and passion. Although, I am a well established, financially secure professional, I am not staid--rather I am open ,curious to new experiences, new ways of thinking, and people. I have high energy but I am distinctly not high maintenance. I have worked hard to become the physically and emotionally fit woman that I am. With good friends and family, I sparkle, laugh, share and commiserate, and am most truly myself. The worlds of art, intellect, politics, and cultural affairs enrich my life but it is dance that breathes life and harmony into my being. In retrospect, I have been dancing all my life. I have have passed through the many dance phases--lindy, latin, stroll, twist, frug, pony, monkey and back again to the partner dancing. I have had more formal dance training several workshops/dance studios in Manhattan. I had been an advanced student in swing and salsa. It has been several years since I have formal training--but still go to dance classes at my health club and have taken professional jazz classes. I look forward to dancing again with the right partner and would resume classes.
