Hi I have been dancing for many years and I m interested to resume dancing, mainly international latin competitive style.

I just enjoy dancing. I started taking ballroom dancing in my early twenties. I also enjoy musical movies and at one time I was very active in choir at my church, but mostly dancing I have always been interested in. It would be nice to meet someonewho also enjoyed dancing.

I was a gymnast growing up and maintain a high level of fitness in my forties. I regularly practice gymnastics and partner acrobatics. I have done freestyle dancing for decades and everyone tells me that I dance "like a rockstar". I study salsa on 2, bachata, east and west coast swing, and zouk (bachata is my current favorite) and am HIGHLY motivated. I am willing to spend several hours a week training and learning.

I’ve been dancing for about a year and a half. I’m going through a teacher training program and expect to be teaching at the dance studio I go to soon. I’ve been learning American Smooth and Rhythm. My favorite has been smooth dances such as waltz and Bolero. This year I’m working on adding V. Waltz and Samba.

I have been taking private ballroom dancing lessons for the past few months. I have taken Rumba, East Coast Swing, Cha Cha and Foxtrot. I am very athletic and in great shape.

I have a love of dancing and also the social side of it. I have been dancing for 4 years and am completely open to learning more at dance classes. I enjoy New Vogue, ballroom, 4 step jive and the Occasional line dance. I enjoy dancing at clubs and at dances.

I like to polka (fast waltz, as I understand it, but like playing rummy, people have different styles) and 3-step best - basically I like to fly and cover a lot of ground. I can and will 2-step if the song is fast enough that I can’t keep a polka up, but I find it lop-sided as half my body gets worked more than the other - definitely invented by cowboys with back problems, but I’m a Texan thru and thru and will always honor the traditional dances.

I love live music and will travel pretty far to find it, but I can’t dance alone, hence this search. My last dance partner lives in Austin and used to come to Houston for work, but not since Covid. Houston’s dancehalls are all closing, so I will travel for good music and a good dance floor - especially if I have someone to dance with. I love old dancehalls with real hardwoods best - big with lots of room - and I prefer live music, but dancing is like breathing for me, so I will dance to my iPhone in my living room when I can’t go out (sanded mesquite hardwoods and over 1,000 square feet with pathways for moving).

I rarely sit a song out, so please have stamina or be willing to treat dance night as your Cardio workout for the week. I have 2 kids and a demanding career, so I’m not looking for anything romantic unless that comes naturally. I just want to have some plain clean fun dancing. I miss the days when guys would ask girls they’ve never met to dance - if you want to dance with other girls, I’m all for it - just give me my fair share unless some other guys get up the nerves to ask me. I enjoy all kinds of music and dancing, and I’m open to trying new stuff, but country-western is my favorite - especially the upbeat polkas - so I’m looking for someone who can keep up and enjoys that as well. I don’t like tons of spinning - I like to fly on the dance floor.

I travel regularly to watch rodeos, explore new horseback riding experiences, trying to frequent the Western heritage towns and venues to help keep them going and as investigative work for a family-friendly dancehall I am trying to open in Houston once the pandemic subsides. So I’m open to traveling, but if a good dance partner surfaces from this, I’d want him to travel my way too - or meet in the middle. My boys are 8 and 2 and I’m trying to teach my son to dance, so I also love community dance halls like the VA and KofC halls.

I am most interested in social swing and (gentle) Lindy Hop dancing, jive. Would love to take lessons and have fun. I took ballroom lessons over the years and a variety of swing lessons. Love to dance!

Who studying in Mexico I took about 3 dance classes. I recently did a Groupon with Fred Astaire for 2 individual classes. I would love to learn swing. It looks so fun! And good exercise. Currently, I dance only at my home when praising God.

Dance background: I've been dancing since I was a child. Not via professional lessons (although I really wanted to study). I have good rhythm. I've taught "dumbed down" (simplified) versions of Ballroom in group exercise at Bally Total Fitness for years (they are closed now), even taught some Irish dancing. SO FUN! I like Salsa but dance it like a Latino versus like a professional. Professional Salsa is a WHOLE different thing. I do like it, just have not studied but would be willing and interested. I would enjoy studying Ballroom as well.

I love ballet, (to watch). Have taken barre classes. Did study Jazz dance for a while years ago. I live in Houston and own my home and business. Business = Absolute Pilates in the Heights. A Pilates work-out studio. I do teach simple dance classes here to assist individuals with balance, coordination and for fun and well-being as well.

I\'ve always enjoyed dancing. I\'ve been involved in theatre productions(all Musicals), ballroom dancing on and off in the past 3 years and started taking lessons again and I especially like the latin dances. I also continously take ballet and jazz. I am hoping that I will have time for tap and some hip hop in the near future. I am also a drummer. I still try to jam with friends and create new music but I\'m not in a band that\'s serious at the moment.

I am looking to have more practices in Salsa and basic with Bachata which I hope to spend more time with.

I became interested in dancing in 2010. Since then I have engaged in social dancing and have taken classes in Salsa and Tango. I have also participated in dance conferences. I would like to train, improve my dance skills, and make dance a bigger part of my life.

I dance for several reasons: to have fun, to get exercise, and to connect with my partner and the music. I have no interest in being serious about dance, although I do want to improve! Enjoy and have done many forms of dance...ballroom, International, Rapper Sword (a fast ritual dance from England), Scandinavian, swing, contra, English Country, etc.

I also enjoy sailing, hiking in the woods with my dog, reading, Interplay and mindfulness practice.

I took some ballroom dance classes in college and really, really enjoyed it. I didn't keep up with it because it was incredibly difficult to find partners in my college town. Then, law and graduate school took over my life. My technique is admittedly rusty, but I have been told by other partners that my rhythm is on point. I am interested in brushing up on international standard and American smooth. Salsa and bachata are new to me, but I am very much interested in dancing both well. I would ideally like to practice/train once a week, eventually becoming strong enough in technique and skill to start doing amateur competitions for fun. Dance has always been a way for me to relax my mind and express myself, allowing me to be present in the moment and connected to my body. So, let's get to it. :)

Moved to Williamsburg, Virginia in 2001 and took up dancing. Now I'm addicted. Ballroom, Latin and Country.

Have had lessons in all which will never stop. lol

I really love to dance and just recently started taking courses at a Dance school. I'm a pretty good Salsa and Merengue dancer and am learning to tango.
