I have always liked dance,but only recently been given the opportunity to pursue formal training. I have every intention of becoming a professional Argentine tango dancer as well as pursue other dance styles.

I like dancing the waltz and waltz music and play the piano for my own amusement.

I like dancing the ballroom tango and quickstep the most.

In music exams, it became clear that I cannot keep a steady beat.

Also, I find it difficult to pick up the rhythm and time of a dance.

I like Cole Porter, Rogers , Ivor Novello, Strauss family and Franz Lehar music.

I like Mountains and Trees.

I have enjoyed group lessons in the waltz, tango, slow foxtrot, the cha cha cha, and rumba for about 2 years. I have had some 1 to 1 lessons now. I did have some 1 to 1 lessons about 30 years ago.

The downside of the group lesson of course is that you are expected to dance with all sorts of women, some of whom are not fit anyway, and even infirm.

I have a DJ, but of course it cannot be suitable for the more energetic dances.

I just want to become a better dancer. It may be also fun and useful on holiday.

I am financially well off, and have two homes.

I have an M.Sc.(Mathematics) from Nottingham University.

I've danced Swing for a number of years. I am attempting to learn and improve my Social Ballroom dancing. I especially need practice on the smooth dances (waltz & foxtrot). I would classify my ballroom level as bronze, beginner to intermediate.

I am on intermediate/advanced level, but it's been a while since I danced a lot,so I'm a bit rusty, but it'll come back quickly!

I am currently teaching dance to teens and adults. In the last 8 years I have graduated 600 teens and 400 adults from my classes.In the course of a 12 year studio career I revised the methods I was taught and have evolved a new system of teaching basic ballroom which is much faster, more fun and very effective.

It's been a long time since I've had a good dance partner. I was trained through the Gold level but am rusty.

I am looking for a partner in international standard, American smooth or American 9 dance. I have been dancing International Standard and dancing International Latin. I am looking for someone who is willing to practice 10+ hours a week plus coachings and strives to be a Champion. I want to compete and find a partner to build a great career with.

I love hustle/club dancing. I enjoy California mix (hustle, west coast, salsa/latin dancing). I travel to dance often and frequent the New York / New Jersey / Long Island area for social dancing. Although I am not really into competition I would be willing to be a practice partner for someone who is in training for competition.
