My west Coast swing level is higher than a ballroom level and I compete separately in both west coast and Hustle events and have placed in hustle and wcs events although I dont take lessons in them for now as my focus is international latin.

I don't have trouble finding partners to dance with at ballroom events since i can lead well and really enjoy dancing. However, most of my practice time is with my instructor and i would like to complement that with a dance partner.

I have a lot of fun dancing but am also serious about learning.

I am single, but not looking for a dating partner.

Happy and easy-going, I dance for fun. 8 years of East Coast Swing made the last 3 years of ballroom and Night club 2-step even more fun. I enjoy authentic people, and am not competitive with dancing. A good lead can have me dancing at his level with a little time-- though I am willing to learn. Not a stickler for precise steps or costumes, I like to keep my feet on the ground, and laugh at mistakes. I am moderate in politics and religion, and believe in being good to the earth and all its inhabitants.

I love dancing and strive to do it well. I took private lessons for many years, but have not been dancing much in the past 5 years and would have missed it a lot. I had some health issues that got in the way and a baby who is now 4 and well life got in the way. I am interested in making friends, practicing and going social dancing. I would be happy to take lessons together and could be talked into competitions if things were going well:)

I danced for many years when I was younger and am now getting back into ballroom and Latin.

Started dancing in college and competed in the collegiate circuit (novice/pre-champ), but haven't competed since then. Have had a couple of practice partners, but never got to the point of competition. I miss ballroom!

I do ISTD Ballroom and Latin twice a week and occasionally Salsa, as well as Pilates classes.

I started ballroom lessons in the early 90's-International Style and have progessed to learn other social dances also-salsa, WC Swing, and Argentine Tango. I performed a few Pro-Am exhibitions in Int. Latin and one competition at the bronze level in the mid 90's. I don't have the time or desire to do any competing at this point. I now just enjoy social dancing and all of the dances and would love to have a partner to practice, learn and enjoy! I also am very health minded and am a vegetarian.

I've dance a little bit in different club in the last couple of years and I've had some very good Latin private with a very good teacher for few months. I've done few workshop, including a one week Ballroom/Latin in Torquay.

I've had to stop dancing for an organization problem, and I'd like to start again with a partner who'd have the same goals as mine.

I'd like to get good enough to compete.

I am a dance instructor in Jacksonville, FL. I was a professional Middle Eastern Dancer and Teacher from 1999-2010 and have 20 years of ballet training. I have been teaching Ballroom, Latin and Swing since 2009. I am technical and serious about my dancing. I am sensitive and love to perform. I am looking for a pro partner who I can do smooth, rhythm, and showcase with immediately. I also have a lot of experience in theatre arts. I am not opposed to Latin or standard, would love to learn, but those are not currently my areas of expertise. If you are also interested, I need a strong male instructor for the studio.

I’ve been swing/social dancing 9 years and enjoy all dance experiences . I’ve been on two competitive teams and am on performance team now. I’m Retro girl at heart , all things vintage. and the LA swing dance community. Also love rockabilly. Viva Las Vegas, Zydeco, old time music / square dancing , tap , flatfoot etc. I recently lost a long time partner and am on the market looking for another for social dancing and possibly completion , team participation and dance weekends/ workshops. I enjoy dancing, and have done socially with numerous partners, girlfriends and non - girlfriends over the years (Up to Social dance test 2), I work in sport enjoy a good laugh and would welcome the opportunity to meet new people through dancing, although I don't feel confident just turning up on my own.

Dancing is a soical event as well as another sport. I can see my dancing going in all kind of different direction, I just don't know where it will lead me next.

I've danced since I was a little girl,On and off. I've gone from ballet,tap and jazz to Hip Hop and now partner dancing such as country/western,Ballroom and Swing. I am a competitor and currently partnerless.

I love to dance: primarily Blues dancing, but also East/West Coast Swing, jazz/free-style; interested in learning salsa and a-tango. I'm half Japanese and half Scott/Irish, and used to be a semi-professional jazz dancer back in college.

I host a weekly Blues dance called South Bay Fusion. I Lead and Follow, and teach beginning WCS and Blues (Lead/Follow).

Although I avoid competitions, the two WCS Jack & Jills that I've had my arm twisted to enter, I've won (thanks to two incredible partners).

My name is Slavik. I am 23 years old. I was born in Russia but lived in Canada for the past 13 years. I have a degree in business. I work as an accountant but I don't enjoy it, yet. Sports are my passion. I discovered dance a couple of years ago and have been hooked ever since. I am not a pro yet but I'm sure that with a "little" hard work anything is possible. Until recently, I've only been dancing in the Pre-Champ latin category. Ballroom is different but I'm starting to enjoy it too.

My goals are:

-Champ latin/Pre-Champ ballroom by summer 2010

-Champ latin/Champ ballroom by 2011

-train in Europe for a year in the ballroom style

-come back to Canada and compete for the Canadian Championship

-once I turn 27, go back to Russia and train in Latin for a year

-top 5 in Canada in ten dance by 28

-top 50 in the world by 29.

Dancing is my passion! I enjoy all styles of partner dancing, and I travel throughout the bay area for quality instruction and social dancing. I take regular private lessons along with series classes and workshops.

My ballroom training is primarily in the DVIDA Syllabus for the American Smooth, American Rhythm, and Nightclub style dances, and I studied Argentine Tango in Buenos Aires for seven weeks in the Spring of '08. I am interesting in learning International Standard.

While I am primarily a social dancer, I have performed on stage in an Argentine Tango formation routine as well as all the usual student-teacher medal ball and studio showcase events. I am willing to train for amateur competition with the right partner.

I have moved to Middlesex a couple of years ago and not danced at all. I am seeking venues in and around London and greater London and would like to have a regular dance partner to improve. Not seeking a permanent partner even though I am single, I am light on my feet (I would like to think so) and have danced mainly ceroc and a little salsa. Done ballroom but that was a long time ago. I would like to socialize more too so if you are single too and able to socialize would be great.

I have been dancing for about 20 years. At times I have been intense, dancing 5 days a week and training privately. Other times, months will pass and I will only have gone once or twice. I completed bronze 4 course in ballroom last year at Arthur Murray in San Jose. These days I usually dance ballroom, but occasionally do country western as well. In general I have strong skills, but there are only a half dozen dances that I do often enough for me to possess a large repertoire. At many others I would describe myself as a very experienced dancer with just beginner to intermediate knowledge of the patterns of those dances. This is what I'd like to change. Right now, my strong dances are salsa, rumba, east coast swing, and country two step but all the other ballroom dances (+ country & western & folk) are fair game. With a bit of review and practice, I'm sure I can quickly recapture the things I have learned over the years that aren't quite at my fingertips.
