I like dancing very much, love to dance to the music, and have around 8 years experience in Ballroom dance. Actually I have tried many different styles of dance. Normally I practice with my classmates once a week. Stopped joining dance classes two years ago because I had no competitive dance partner to progress and enhance.

I am a self employed male, work out daily, plays golf, dances, travels, loves sports, restaurants, Plays guitar and writes music. I have two kids in college, an 11 year old dachshund, and lives part time in Myrtle Beach SC (2nd home).

I have worked hard on my technique and want to find others who dance at my level or above. I take lessons on my own and am open to taking with a partner. I’m a strong smooth dancer; I train a couple times a year with an a international competitor when he’s in town. My rhythm is pretty good and getting better all the time. I currently live and work in Beckenham in South East London. I am a teacher and this is a demanding job. However, I take my dancing seriously and really want a committed partner with whom I can develop. Dancing is very important to me and a great source of joy. I love to work and practise hard, I enjoy technique and I love practising until things are right!

I have been dancing for many years but doing ballroom and latin seriously for about 3 years or so now. Since moving to SE London, I haven't really found my way, I'm looking for somewhere I really happy to dance and someone with whom I can continue to develop in the way that I was when I lived in North London. I would really like to get back to regular practise and partnership as soon as possible.

I love all 10 dances and would be very reluctant specialise. I do slightly prefer ballroom although I tend to be slightly better at latin, it's a little more natural for me and I'm quite flamboyant and extroverted.

The the past few years I have been learning how to Two Step and doing some line dancing. I have found country dancing is a lot of fun, great exercise and very social.

I started dancing in the eighth grade, after a year I received a scholarship

and continued for another year. When I turned 20 I taught at the Fred

Astair studio in San Antonio, I was drafted in 18 months and joined the

US Navy. After leaving the service with an honorable discharge, I

went back to College and received a degree with a major in accounting.

I went to work in DC in the late 80's and started dancing again.

I went back to classes at Arthur Murrays for 15 years. I competed twice at

the Ohio Star Ball, winning Best American Couple intermediate Silver. I

have retired, moved back to SA and need to start dancing again.

I also taught Salsa in DC.

I dance Latin, ballroom and sequence and have for many years.

I gave ballroom dancing a try in December 2010 and found that I enjoy it. I was encouraged to compete, but found that what I really enjoy is performing. I love dreaming up a story, custom editing the music, working out the choreography and then performing to entertain the audience.

Although I've done seven performances (if you count the music video I performed in, a couple months ago, as the "primary dancer"), I really don't consider myself a "great" dancer (I'm usually complimented on having a very good frame).

I really enjoy doing lifts, dips and tricks. My pro-partner / instructor says that I'm her "personal jungle gym / monkey bars" as she enjoys climbing all around me as we experiment with various lifts and tricks ideas.

Tango and Waltz are by far my favorite styles of dance, however I'm open to working on and improving other dance styles.

Witty and worldly, humorous with good nature of balance. An art lover with interests of oil painting, flamenco guitar and love the Latin dances, I am learning Salsa(int/adv level), Bachata(adv), Cha Cha(beg/int)and Argentina Tango(beg/int). Enjoy what life has to offer on the daily basis. I wish I could find someone to share the experience and practice.

I have always liked dance,but only recently been given the opportunity to pursue formal training. I have every intention of becoming a professional Argentine tango dancer as well as pursue other dance styles.

I like dancing the waltz and waltz music and play the piano for my own amusement.

I like dancing the ballroom tango and quickstep the most.

In music exams, it became clear that I cannot keep a steady beat.

Also, I find it difficult to pick up the rhythm and time of a dance.

I like Cole Porter, Rogers , Ivor Novello, Strauss family and Franz Lehar music.

I like Mountains and Trees.

I have enjoyed group lessons in the waltz, tango, slow foxtrot, the cha cha cha, and rumba for about 2 years. I have had some 1 to 1 lessons now. I did have some 1 to 1 lessons about 30 years ago.

The downside of the group lesson of course is that you are expected to dance with all sorts of women, some of whom are not fit anyway, and even infirm.

I have a DJ, but of course it cannot be suitable for the more energetic dances.

I just want to become a better dancer. It may be also fun and useful on holiday.

I am financially well off, and have two homes.

I have an M.Sc.(Mathematics) from Nottingham University.

I am 57 and started dancing after starting lessons in March 2018 . Just beginning Beginner level 2 in cha cha, rumba, tango, swing, foxtrot, waltz. I would like to get my bronze level and do some show cases for now. I like dancing and would like to become a good dancer but I don't have a partner

I have been a dancer since I was 5 years old. I've trained in ballet, tap and jazz and modern technique. I just started ballroom dancing in November 2019, and I have wanted to pursue a competitive/professional career in it.

My dance styles that I selected are based on the styles I have learned so far. I am interested in both International Standard and American ballroom styles. I would like to compete in both.
