i love to do ballroom, rock n roll, swing and am also learning line dancing. i have been dancing almost all my life and used to do competition but now i dance for fun and excersise. my spare time is spend dancing and spending time with friends. i try to keep fit and healthy. i like to do the best i can with anything i do but also i dont take life too seriously. i want to travel and do things that are a bit different. i have the intention of going to thailand soon to work with the elephants. i also want to do some travelling, around australia and overseas. i dont smoke or drink as i would much rather spend my money going out and doing the fun things in life.

I used to dance when I was much younger. Miss it but difficult to find a partner. I've taken 2 levels of East Coast Swing last fall and 2 levels of Salsa. I'd like to continue to improve on both and then learn more.

New to ballroom...only entered two comps with instructor

I started learning how to dance by joining Texas A&M's ballroom dance club in Fall 2019. I really enjoyed learning some basic styles of ballroom and am continuing to learn more dance styles this Spring. I also started learning country western this Spring through a beginner's class offered by my college. I love dancing as it brings the best side out of me and fills me with tons of energy. I want to continue to learn as many dance styles while getting better at them while I am still a college student. My favorite dance styles: Cha-Cha (want to learn more advanced versions while getting better) and maybe Hustle. I would like to learn two-step first, if possible since my class was going to do that next after spring break, but circumstances changed. Overall, I am basically between a beginner to intermediate 1.

Dancing always puts me in a great frame of mind. When I hear music, my feet will not stay still. I can dance intermediate Ballroom, Salsa and West Coast. Having a good leader, I follow well You will always see me dressed well with a smile on my face. Having a sense of humor is important to me. Living well translates for me living healthily. Therefore I engage in some type of activity everyday , such as hiking, gardening, working out in the gym, pursuing yoga, and , of course, dancing. Why would I put time and energy into a profile for a dance directory of only 70k people? Its interesting to me what motivates people in life. Many are on a hamster's wheel for a paycheck. Inside their heart they have a dream that's unfulfilled. I have been there in the past. I went to graduate school for business but then I realized I would rather have a career that allowed me to directly help people. A job that involved being outdoors and exercising. I was an adventure therapist for at risk youth for 3 years. Then I took another route, one that was more aligned with my artistic side...photography. Now I am working in tourism...leading tours all over the world. However a dream that I have put off is dance. It is in my blood. Just like all the members of this site, it makes me feel alive. It makes me feel so connected to my partner, the most intimate, passionate connection. Right now I am in Puerto Rico for a short time taking private salsa lessons. I also love tango and swing. One of the best dance experiences of my life was doing free form dance naked with a partner, haha! I just want to dance all day every day. I want to take it to the limit. I'm just a beginner now, but the passion I have can take me far. For those willing to relocate, so am I. Of course at first it would just be a visit.

Hi everyone. I have 10 years former training in ballet, tap, modern, and gymnastics. I started teaching ballroom dancing about 6 years ago at a national chain studio which is where I was trained and certified. I am currently seeking a partner for practice (I'm trying to certify in the DVIDA syllabus now), and I am open to competition and shows as I now own a studio and help coordinate corporate and non-profit dance-themed events.
