I love to dance! I am willing to at least try any dance. I have learned Argentine tango, salsa, bachata, cha cha, contra, the waltz, and the two step. I am an advanced beginner.

I danced International Standard a looooong time ago, and now am getting into social dances, specifically Argentine Tango and Salsa

I was welcomed into the dance community when I was 16 it was mostly line dancing but a short while after I started to get into two-step/country swing. I have been dancing at Nashville Waikiki almost every weekend since I got here, October 2018. I love just Messi g around on the dance floor and learning new steps and moves. I am also learning(I am average at a basic waltz with basic spins and such) to waltz, I really like that as well. I want to get more efficient and maybe compete in the future.

I used to be like totally addicted to contra dancing. I have had some great lindy classes but I want to really work on getting some of the basic lindy moves as well as charleston moves better because when its really right it is much more fun. My partner at home doesn't dance. We live close to the UW in Seattle.

I LIVE and work in Iceland but visit other cities in Europe and NY frequently. Dancing Argentine tango make me feel so good and I really like to learn more with a warm hearted dance partner. Here in Iceland or elsewhere.

When I was 19 I used to teach at Arthur Murray's dance studio in Lafayette Indiana. I love most all ballroom especially Latin dances. I miss dancing and having that special experience when two bodies become one on the dance floor. When others watch us dance and wish they were us. I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist, as well as owner/operator of a private duty service. I possess a bachelors degree in psychology and started working on my masters degree in professional Christian counseling. I have four horses, 3 dogs and two cats. My heart is huge and am told I can be a bit stubborn at times. I have interests both outdoors and indoors. I started ballroom dancing June of 2013. I performed in a spectacular show, as well as Friday night dance parties and a charity event. In addition, I have competed 3 times this year. I love dancing. I have found dancing as a way of release, expression and art throughout my life span. I am currently on the senior bronze level with silver amalgamation. I have learned some silver steps and love them. I learned a little bolero and really like it. The levels of dance get better and better as one moves up. I love it so much.

I have been dancing since I was young, but only took up partner dancing in my junior year of college. I am interested in learning more dances, going to socials, and competing. I have never competed before, but have always hoped to. Looking to see if I can find a great dance partner who shares the same interests as me!

I am an experienced competitor age of 62 in very good shape (I compete in tennis). I am very well coached in both smooth and standard.

I currently dance mostly in the Sunnyvale area a couple times per week to keep things tweeked. After September 2016 will spend a bit more time dancing.

I am level headed and approach dance in a mature manner. Of late, after a break from dancing, I feel I am doing some of my best dancing with expressiveness and technical proficiency combined.

Each dance has its own flavor and feel I have found my Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and Quickstep.

For me dance is at least in part about shaping movement and rhythm and togetherness with a couple who works together on the floor to enjoy the Zen like challenge of expressing themselves. The sense of a mature humbly confident expression of dance leaving the fear behind and knowing that what you are doing is the best you can do and enjoying it. Making a statement to those who can see that this is a couple who enjoy and understand dancing and is doing so on the floor.
