I love dance for sociability and for mental and physical health. I learn from online instruction WCS ECS and others. I am a retired Math instructor. I was extremely shy as a child and well into my youth... catching up on social skills ever since. Accustomed to living self-reliant alone, I married for the first and only time at 63 years... a good 15 year marriage, but as caregiver to my wife the last seven years before her death in January 2023. I am easygoing, gentle, and caring... risk averse, not competitive and don't follow sports. I am happy, healthy, fit and active, and I have always been self-care dilligent. I am debt free but not wealthy; my home passes to step children upon my death. I garden, foodscaping my home and sharing garden surplus.

Hi! I began socially dancing about 10 years ago--starting with lindy hop and moving to blues, fusion, salsa, bachata and Zouk. In addition I became an Arthur Murray ballroom dane teacher and taught/learned ballroom for 2.5 years then taught privately for a year and a half. I also can do acrobatic type moves and do acro yoga/ some standing acro. I've performed in a bachata cabaret routine that involved acrobatic moves. For my own creative purposes, with an interest in the big, free-feeling movements of modern dance, I choreographed a contemporary dance routine for the soul purpose of making a professional looking dance video for youtube (also a filmmaker and photographer, I directed, directed the photography for, and edited this video as well). I love free-style dancing and am looking to create more in the world using the movement to help people become unstuck and liberate themselves from judgment, while getting in touch with their bodies. SOoooo i span the board. I'm not a master of any one dance type, but can move with ease between different forms.

Serious dance geek, originally from Montreal but have been living in central BC (that's British Columbia) since 1994. Started dancing in 2012 and never looked back! Have been in an organizer role in my small city for over a decade, now, teaching beginner swing dances and salsa, hosting monthly pub dances and collaborating with other dancers in town, all of us seeking to grow the community. Not interested in ballroom dances... prefer WCS, salsa, Vernacular Jazz dances... i also do enjoy a good NC2step. Adore the vernacular Jazz dances, like Lindy hop, Blues and Balboa, but there'as no one here to teach these, so that dance community is slow to evolve.

I have travelled to many events: Swingcouver, Sea to Sky, Sweet Side of Swing, Easter Swing, Extreme Swing, Lindy harvest, RCMA, Canadian Swing Championships, and various intensives in WCS. Would love a partner in crime to do alot more of these, in N/America and abroad! Want to go to Cuba for a salsa dance retreat, go to Herräng dance camp in Sweden, Budafest in January and other WCS events in France and around the world. I'm not wealthy, but I do work a lot and this is something I consider worthwhile spending.

Currently teaching salsa on Tuesday nights, and WCS/NC2step Wednesday nights, up at the university. Also, I host a swing 'n salsa pub dance once a month which is the best day of the month ;-)

hi there I learned to dance in the social scene and fell in love with two step and West Coast Swing I do like plenty of other dances as well. I'm a good follower. Dancing is my happy place and I'm looking for a regular partner in crime for friendship and dancing. I have room at my place to practice and look forward to the studios and clubs opening back up!!

I recently moved from Austin, and am looking to start ballroom dancing again. I have been out of practice, not dancing since January of this year. I had several years of lessons, but have taken a break from it in recent years. I am looking to have fun dancing, and learning new dance steps and dances along the way.

I’d love to join social dance events from time to time and work on improving my Bachata, Salsa, and Swing. I’m still a beginner.

I’ve had quite a good experience of ballroom dancing in the past but that was a long time ago. Now I’m most of all keen to go back to the ballroom dancing cause I think this is one of the most beautiful things in life and is definitely my biggest passion. I’m also quite interested in bachata/salsa improving but ballroom is number one priority. My goal is to train regularly to enjoy every moment of it, to noticeably improve the skills and hopefully perform some day.

I love to dance! In the 1980's I danced 7 nights a week, 4

+ hours a night. I learned WHIP/WCS from Gilbert Huron and some SWWC.

I'm not a Ballroom trained dancer. I want to learn Argentine Tango. I am a dedicated learner and am coachable; desiring a dance partner who is interested in having fun while wanting to be the best we can be.

I am happiest when on the dance floor connecting with my partner. I can think of nothing better in life than to be able to study partner dance and teach it. I am at a point in my life where I would like to do nothing but dance and teach it. I learned to dance during the URBAN COWBOY days in the early 1980's in Houston TX. I am able to move to any part of the country if the right situation presents itself; I'd need to find a job to cover room and board expenses and have a partner who is dedicated to learning and then maybe teaching dance. My favorites now are West Coast Swing, Night Club 2-step and CW. Happiest days of my life were when I would go to work, get off at 5 o'clock, go home, shower, shave and get ready to dance until 2am. I was very much in demand in Houston as a social dance partner.

Social dancing throughout my life but new to partner dancing. My long distance boyfriend is learning country swing and two step so I'm seeking a local partner I can practice with in order to develop partnership skills as a follower and become adept at improvised moves and transitions.

I have a wonderful family & have enjoyed a successful career in education administration & research. I was a VP in a Middletown HS and directed county & statewide programs in NJ. & a ten-state regional program in the northeast. I have also directed programs & done research in Houston, TX. I learned to two step at the Yellow Rose in NJ & have two-stepped in numerous venues in TX. Dancing brings me great joy! I have been dancing since very young & presently do line dancing in my 55+ community. I have joined this site with the hope of finding a dance partner with whom I can do the partner dances that I have enjoyed doing.

Hello I'm Veno,

I just moved from the SF Bay Area to Atlanta about a month ago and am looking for a new dance partner to go out to events with and make more friends. I'm also open to competing/performing as well. In the past i have danced in college and competed in the SF Salsa Festival with my college San Jose State University.

Outside of dance I love to play and listen to music, watch movies, go hiking, and explore. (This feels a lot like a dating profile lol)

I know 40 sequence dances fluently. I go to social dances within 10 miles of home. My favourite dances are foxtrots, waltzes and tangos.

I am just rediscovering my love of dancing. I have done some competitions, exhibition showcases and assisted in teaching very new students at a social club many years ago, and am now making the time to return to the world of social dancing. I am greatly influenced by music and feel I have a good natural sense of movement. I would hope my partner would have a little patience with me while I do some "catching up" and with the right encouragement it will not take me long to "get up to speed" again.

I did Hustle and Freestyle and have limited experience in Waltz, Foxtrot, Jive, Tango and the Latin Dances. (I must confess that Country Western is my least favorite genre of music and dance.)

I am open to learning other styles of dance, and to share these dances with a special partner who is as passionate about the sheer pleasure of dance as I am.

I have been told I have a sunny disposition, and dancing again has really enhanced my life.
