Looking for dance partner.

Dance with the music, move with you, I forgot everything.

We could take dance lessons together, or practice together. I like dance most ballroom/Latin dance.

I compete with my perfectional dance instructor for open gold international Latin.

I would like compete with you as an ameutur couple.

I am a Fred Astaire World Champion currently competing Pro-Am, but I am looking for an amateur partner to practice and compete. Preferred styles are Smooth and Standard. I currently dance at least two hours per day.

Back in the late 70s and early 80s I lived in Beaumont Texas and that’s where I learned to country western dance. I learned the Texas two-step, waltz, polka. I loved it! I wouldn’t say I was a great dancer and certainly not the best on the floor. But I had two partners n taught C&W dance at the Beaumont independent school district for several years. In 1984 or five I moved back to Illinois, which is home, and I haven’t been on the Dancefloor since. I miss it. I would love to find a partner to see if I still have anything left and try to recapture some of the enjoyment I experienced in my youth dancing.

I dance east coast swing 1 to 2 nights a week locally comfortably and well. I have the ability to dance hustle, cha-cha, and waltz with a man who is a good lead. Would like to improve and refine all dances with a good partner.

I had taken private lessons in Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, Tango and Bolero as well as group classes in Advanced Tango, Samba, Bolero, Waltz and Foxtrot from Lance Sexton, one of the top Dance Instructors around.

I also have several instructional DVDs and clips of various dances. It is very frustrating to learn routines when you don't have a regular dance partner to practice with.

I now want to do more than just social dancing. I am a great follower and a very quick learner if you care to guide me.

My time is my own ... It's up to you whether you want to practice just weekly or thrice a week. We can practice in my 16' X 18' home studio for Latin dances and rent ballroom floor as desired for smooth dances.

Why not just give it a try and see if we can help each other become better ballroom dancers?

I am a former Jazzercise instructor/franchisee. I learned choreography and had large classes for 11 years. That was long ago. Many years later I needed to dance and discovered Country line dancing. It was great to move and I didn't need a partner. But, from there I did meet a great partner who introduced me to West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Hustle, Tango and more. Our main focus was fun and West Coast Swing. I took private and group lessons and both of us put our own flare into it. Unfortunately he passed away suddenly and decided to dance forever in heaven.

My goal is to find a partner who wants to have fun and has a flare for musicality. I love WCS but I would love to learn any dance. I can follow a great lead so whatever it is I'll get it eventually

I have always been a latin social dancer. The love of dance and people drew me to become a ballroom instructor. I trained to become an instructor and taught students to the bronze and beginner silver level. I have participated in showcases and competitions with my student.

I love water and outdoor life: the ocean, rivers, lakes, beaches and mountains. I also enjoy traveling. I have visited Italy, Scotland, Spain, Paris, Amsterdam, Beijing, Hong Kong, Guilin, Philippine, Singapore, etc.

I enjoy dancing, outdoors activities and water-sports, such as sailing, kayaking, hiking, swimming, and good conversations. I also enjoy mini-nature golf, theaters, movies... Anyway, I enjoy life!

I have just begun dancing after relocating to FL. from NYC after raising 2 kids, getting divorces, selling my businesses, etc.

I currently compete with my newest Russian pro teacher in American Smooth (gold/open) and will add International (gold/open) next year, and do at least 3 national competitions a year. Was the bronze national champion 15 years ago, and usually place in finals of Rising Star. Am working towards more national titles in gold/open pro-am. When I was young, I performed ballet and jazz, and toured Europe in college as a dancer in "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

I started taking individual and group classes for about 7 months. I dance 4-5 days a week, work hard, and am critical of my progress. I have been working on learning the American 9 primary, but also do some social Latin and country, planning to be able to compete Q2 next yr. My goal is to be a solid competitive dancer and move through the syllabus as quickly as I can. In gaining these skills I would like to dance more socially.

Hi, I have been taking private lessons and group classes learning, 2-step, waltz, polka, west coast swing and salsa. I’m amateur/intermediate level and would like to find someone to practice with regularly. I am open to learning other dance styles as well. I am new to the San Antonio metroplex.

My primary dance experience is in standard ten-dance ballroom, having danced on and off for the last 20 years. Most recently I've been dancing regularly (3 - 5 times per week) for four years. I also enjoy Argentine Tango (two years), and salsa and bachata (two years).

I dance mainly for enjoyment and for improvement, although have done a few shows/demos.

I enjoy social dancing and I'm interested in the many dance venues and events in the Tampa Bay area. I have been in this area for seven years and I've found that there are many nice people and places to dance nearby....always enjoy meeting new dancers and friends. I live near the beach so I also enjoy walking the beach, riding bikes, and dabble at painting seascapes and enjoy a little tennis.
