I learned some basic waltz, foxtrot and polka from my parents. As far as my skill level i do quite well but that changes with your partner, it is easy to dance down or up based on your connection with your partner.

Dancing is a passion for me. I took up Ballroom and Latin in 2005 and I began competing at beginners and novice level in 2008. In my first competition I managed to win first place and, although I'll admit that my experience is limited, I've always made the top three.

I haven't danced in a while, but when I was actively pursuing it I went twice-weekly to a school in Wimbledon which offers classes aimed at budding competitors and high-level social dancers. These sessions focused heavily on technique, so you might find that I'm more advanced than my experience suggests. That said, my Ballroom is much stronger than my Latin. To be honest, I'd prefer to skip Latin altogther!

To give you an idea of my outlook, I'd rather dance simple steps with good technique than flashy choreography poorly.

Off the dance floor, I work as an aviation journalist. I'm interested in psychology and would prefer to read than watch TV. I'm confident, intelligent and independent.

I love standard ballroom and would love to compete. I dance with my teacher and have done well in competitions

I have been dancing modern jive for about 20 years and prior to that have done rock and roll and ballroom dancing. Am reasonably new to Argentine Tango and quite enjoying it. I love to dance and love most forms of dance including ballet and especially improvised dance. I am currently learning The Charlston and Lindy Hop. Would very much welcome the opportunity to perform as well.

I have been dancing for many years and am passionate about ballroom.I also do some latin and rock and roll, jive ect. I have until recently had a partner who danced to a high standard and have learnt a lot from him. I am out going and sociable and keen to dance several nights per week.
