I grew up doing theatre. I've been teaching at my studio for two years now. I've been focused on American smooth I also have alot of interest in standard .. I practice on my own just about every day and would really like a body to dance with

So, who says that a woman can't find a man who really loves to dance? Here I am! If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. While I am confident that I'm a good social dancer right now, I know that I still have a long ways to go. I've been dancing a long time, but I still want to learn and I am willing to practice. I'm particularly interested in doing more with west coast swing, hustle and salsa/mambo. I am open to learning new dances. It would be wonderful to find someone who can put a lot of time into dance, but I don't have specific requirements about any set amount of days or hours per week. I'm flexible in terms of whether I am either the more experienced dancer or at a lesser skill level than my partner (I am receptive to being coached/trained if my partner has the background and interest in doing so). When not dancing, I enjoy roller coasters, water slides, going to sporting events and playing pickleball. Being retired, I'd like to go on cruises with a companion, particularly cruises that include social dancing .Please note that I'm not a paid up full member, so I can't respond to greetings.

After all these years. I have not skipped a beat and I have danced 2-3 times a week since then. I found I still got it. I cant wait to dance with others to see where I can take it... Years ago no one could tell me how to dance, where to put your feet, etc. They would just say "go out there and just move around". Well that wasn't good enough for me. Over the years of seeking out classes, learning from anyone with the patience to show me steps, I am now teaching others to dance in my spare time. Waltz, Cha Cha, Two Step, Foxtrot, Texas two step, Swing, Line dancing, etc. It is a great feeling to get out on the floor and dance!!! I also enjoy the outdoors, a do-it-yourselfer home maintenance, cars, trucks and motorcycles. No smoking, no drinking, no drugs. Sing in a church choir. Part time Paramedic on an ambulance service and a volunteer fireman, however, I have cut back because I am currently attending graduate school pursuing a Masters degree. I will be graduating in 2012. My outlook on life is always positive and even if I get knocked down I bounce back and keep going. Enjoys dancing, outdoors, long walks in the woods, exciting times, quiet times, going places, attends church, willing to go to and try new and different things, likes to travel. An evening walk by moon light around the farm is especially enjoyable with a friend to observe the stars.

Prefer ballroom to Latin. Interested in some further learning (but not a deal breaker) and some social dancing.

I've been square dancing for about 34 years and enjoy going to weekend conventions a few times each year. I dance at the Plus level, sometimes APD when available, with lots of energy and lots of spins and twirls, if my partner enjoys that. Would like to take an Advanced 1 and 2 level class.

I love east coast swing, and was taking lessons for ballroom and west coast until my teacher got injured. I'd love to get better for social dancing, to be able to dance anywhere, to anything (almost). Not really wanting to go into competition, but just get better to be able to dance more and feel comfortable in any situation.

I've been taking private Rhythm Two Step and Country Swing lessons. Would love to go the Stillery, Tom Ryan's, Handlebar Js etc and dance.

I played competitive sports most of my life and trained Muay Thai kickboxing for 15 years both as a competitor and a coach. Like most people who love dance, I tried it once and never looked back.

I have been dancing for about 7 years. I started with pro/am at Fred Astaire with Smooth & Rhythm and then moved to an independent studio. Eventually, I ended up at a Latin studio taking coaching. I also enjoy it because most people who dance Latin tend to dance more seriously than other categories.

Over the years of dancing, I've realized I prefer to be coached to grow my own dancing vs relying on a pro partner.

I am a natural born dancer and have an ability to pick up new styles with ease. I have danced Cuban Salsa for many years, and have trained in Freestyle and Disco dance styles during my childhood up to teen years.

My passion for dance took a backseat for a number of years, but I’m glad to say that Ive found a school and have recently started learning the Cha Cha, Waltz, Quickstep, Rumba etc. the only thing missing is not having my own dance partner…!!

Back in 1999, I started taking ballroom dancing lessons, for about 6 years. Unfortunately, I had some rough years in my life and I couldn't continue, at least with private lessons (I continued to attend parties and group classes occasionally. However, I started taking lessons again about a year ago and have been since. My favorite dances are east coast swing, lindy hop, hustle, as well as others like the salsa, mambo, merengue, cha-cha, waltz, tango. Lately, I'm learning more about the west coast swing, and have found a secondary dance teacher for the Lindy Hop where I take private lessons from her.

In the past I took group and private lessons in salsa and other dance styles. I have been away from dancing for a few years so I have forgotten a lot, but I still have the basics and I do step on beat. I'd like to get back into dancing salsa, ballroom and other styles just for some healthy fun.

I am a longtime dancer of ballroom and Latin, and I enjoy occasional evenings in a salsa club. But, my heart and soul have been captured by Argentinian tango.

I have lived in Mexico for 11 years, and am now in the process of returning to Canada. As for the location of my future home, I am open to suggestions!

I'm still learning. I do have rhythm. My problem was having no dance partner! I catch on quickly. Spent most of my time in my youth dancing in bars.

I’d like to dance Latin and swing currently. I’m open to learning ballroom and more. I also adore folk dance forms that are danced in a group (non partner) format.

My experience: I took a handful of swing and salsa classes 15 years ago. I did social dancing at salsa clubs about 10 times 15 years ago and picked up moves that way. I was part of an informal west African dance company 12 years ago which involved extensive classes and some formal performances. I’ve also taken assorted dance classes like Zumba and hip hop a long time ago.

I studied at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia, Arthur Murray Ballroom Dance Academy in Tel Aviv, Israel.

I danced in different companies, currently I teach Classical Dance.

I am very healthy, neither smoke, nor drink, have two massage diplomas and work part-time as a masseur.

I am now located in Israel, going to return to California.
