I love dancing. My husband was an amazing dancer (he grew up square dancing) and we danced often before his death. We did square dance for a brief time. I started square dance lessons a year ago and have been attending any dance I can since. I am currently taking round dance lessons. I would like to become more proficient with my dance skills and find it easier when I dance with someone more experienced and with more consistency so I know what to expect from that person. I travel to Colorado Springs, Canon City and Salida to dance.

I've been a country dancer for the last three years. I know country two-step, country waltz, west coast swing, cha cha and night club two-step.

I started taking Ballroom lesson about 10 years ago. I want to be good at it. I need a lot of practice. I have added other dances. I am still taking classes. Last year I broke my ankle. This slow me down and I gain weight. I want to get my weight back down. This is the best exercise and Its a lot of fun. I am not getting enough dancing in. I need a partner.

I am a totally fun loving, loyal and generally a happy person. I had the honour to be part of Sham Rock, a band which made the top 20 in the UK charts for 5 weeks in 1998 with Tell Me Ma. That was a long time ago. I've done Line/street dancing for ten years and didn't do too badly in the Worlds Championships which was held in the US this Millennium.

Last year (2008), I had a crash course in Ballroom (i.e. a 8 week course) and loved it. I still do line dancing which is not that sad -certainly no Yeehahs or fingers in belts. I guess there are some older style venues but my dance club ranges from waltz one minute to funky the next with music usually played on 2-Ten FM or Kiss FM before 8pm. At the end of the last quarter of 2007, I tried Salsa with work colleagues. This was great fun but one by one the enthusiasm for them disappeared and I was last man standing.

I started out at stepping out studios in NYC in group classes. The teachers there inspired me to dance and I never left. After moving up from basic then intermediate then touching some advance i decided to do strictly privates where I now dance and perform with my instructor..My latest type of dance is acrobatics which is amazing. I'd like to venture out show my partner movies I know an have her show me what she knows teach eachother and let the dance just take us.
