I definitely NEED to dance for my sanity and well-being. It is a part of my life that I want to enjoy with others who share this passion and way of life. I live in Atlanta but have a condo in Blue Mountain Beach... near Sandestin, Florida... I visit the gulf apx once every six weeks. I would really like to find a partner to practice with in Florida since I am in an area where dance venues are scarce to non-existent. My main focus is the Argentine tango... for me it is more a way of being than a dance. So-o-o-o... I would really prefer a partner for the tango than any other dances.

I want to learn enough to be fun to dance with and feel comfortable and relaxed.

A long time ago I took a swing class for a semester and a jazz dance class for a semester.

This year I've attended 4 class sessions and social dances and 2 lessons. I intend to go to Century Ballroom weekly for the next few months.

I also have some decent musical background (for example I minored in music), which seems to help with dancing.

At the moment I'm focused on West Coast Swing, but I'm open to focusing on something else.

I enjoy ballroom, country western, salsa, and line dancing and have an extreme interest in learning Argentine Tango. I am a married woman with a husband who has no interest in dancing. It would be extremely helpful to find someone in a similar situation, as I’m not using this site as a dating app. I have an extreme love for dance and am anxious to find a like-minded soul. I am also an introvert and would like to find someone who can stick by my side at social events rather than make the rounds to dance with all the other women unless they ensure I am in a comfortable spot to avoid social awkwardness as I am not a social butterfly. 😊 I just want to dance and dance often. Dance is my chosen form of exercise, and I seek someone who loves music, loves to dance.

I mostly danced Boogie Woogie / East Coast Swing, but also have (some) background in Tango and Cha Cha. I speakl German, French, English and Dutch, so I hope we will be able to communicate :-)

Beginner, open to learning any style

I started at age 8 being part of an art academy which involved singing, acting, dancing. I learned jazz partner dancing and tap then later on in middle school I took ballet, hip hop and belly dance classes and in highschool I decided to try ballroom and fell inlove with it.

My wife have been dancing since her teens. I want to catch up while I work here in Australia and family is back in Sweden. Would love to find a beginner like me (done 40 hours of Salsa and a bit Bachata (which I prefer due to the slower beat. Its hard to be tall when moving to fast beats)). I’m available to practice basicly any afternoon and weekend (except for windy days when I love to windsurf). Since 2015 I have taken both group classes and private lessons at several Arthur Murray studios and now am with an independent teacher and studio in Troy, MI. I have performed showcases of Argentine Tango, Viennese Waltz, and West Coast Swing and competed twice in the Michigan Senior Olympics. I checked out of Bronze IV in Waltz, Foxtrot, Argentine Tango, ChaCha, Rhumba and East Coast Swing. With a dedicated partner I am interested in entering competitions in the midwest as well as social dancing in the western suburbs of Detroit.

Started dancing in Jan 2019. I’m interested in both rhythm and smooth styles. Currently working on 11 Styles. I take two private lessons per week and also attend five classes per week. I have performed at two Midwest showcases.

Danced on and off for 15+ years, mainly group classes in Ballroom and Latin but with probably around 6 years or so of consecutive dance. A little Salsa experience in the very distant past now also.

Quick to learn and get focused, extrovert personality but quite easy going. I like to have fun and a laugh when practising and not to take myself to seriously, I can take training seriously though!

Very limited options for dance in the north of Scotland, open to session or practice ideas maybe around Inverness, into Aberdeenshire or further south around Perth or Dundee. Would travel further for the right partner if the experience was worthwhile, Glasgow, Edinburgh etc.. Have a gym instructor background so used to tough regular training :)

2020+ - Still looking for a reliable partner for practice sessions, would really like someone to ballroom jive with on a regular basis. May consider driving as far south as Cumbria now for the right person or can accommodate in the Highlands. I have a lovely Highland cottage on the NC500, fantastic beach and space to practice dance locally if you fancy a holiday. Always happy to talk dance, message me.

I danced for five years when I was younger, training and performing, and very interested in dancing skillfully again. I am open to various styles. My favorite style has always been the hustle. Would love to learn salsa.

Dancing is my passion. I used to do ProAm competitions in the UCWDC (Country Western) circuit, competing in Triple 2,Nightclub 2 Step, Cha cha, Waltz, Country 2 Step & West Coast Swing. I am now in a Salsa team, which takes quite a bit of my time, so I don't really compete in the UCWDC circuit anymore. Socially, I mostly dance either salsa or swing, although would love to do more ballroom and country.

I have been dancing for about 15 years now and I did several showcases with several partners in the past. I also competed pro-am before. I am dedicated to dancing and am willing to try my best to be a great dancer. I am currently taking lessons from 2 pros in International Standard and Latin.

I've been progressing at a rapid pace, I used to be on tv, newspapers, doing paid shows, etc, and recently getting momentum with that again. If you were at the Clearwater Jazz Fest, I was the guy right infront of the band dancing. I am not afraid to dance infront of thousands of people, I like dancing for small crowds too. I want to become one of the greatest swing/lindy dancers in the world. I am trying to bring back the very energetic old style. Seems too many today swing ballroom and is nothing like the old movies you've seen. I do aerials as well, and am inventing some news ones that will blow away ones similar to them.

I am a 43 year old female who is in search of a ballroom and latin partner in Nottingham.

I started dancing at age 7, with tap, jazz and ballet. Picked up east coast swing and Lindy in high school, then the bathroom basics in college. I enjoyed Latin dancing socially. Later, I fell in love with blues and recently fusion.

I really enjoy the partnership aspects of social dancing. I'm most comfortable with the smooth, rhythm, Latin, and country/western dances. Argentine Tango is definitely a favorite of mine.

I mainly dance Cuban Salsa. Started dancing about 10 years ago but throughout the years I have been dancing on and off. Some years I did dance up to 4-5days a week (once a week rueda de casino practice with a group) and some years just once in a while.

I did never take dancing lessons at a studio, so I honestly do not know which level I am at. I would guess though Intermediate when it comes to Salsa (Cuban & LA Style). Bachata (beginner-intermediate)and Kizomba (basics-beginner) . Did do learning by doing so far but I wouldn't mind taking classes.

Salsa dancing is my "happy place". Play some music and I won't be able to srand still.

Because to Covid I have not been dancing for the past years and would like to start again.

Salsa makes me truly happy. I would like to get back into it and would like to learn more and improve.

I love to Dance. I took lessons many years ago but stopped when my husband became unwell.

I took more lessons a couple of years ago and undertook private lessons last year. i now dance as much as i can. I go to social dances and have many partners, hardly sit down, but not a regular dance partner. Have very definately caught the bug again!! [Never really lost it just circumstances intervened].am now taking private lessons and continue to improve.

Being a 60's girl I love jive and cha cha as well as ballroom. Have been learning Argentine Tango for over 2years and absolutely love it. Would love to find a partner for Argentine as well as for ballroom and Latin .

I love all dance, Am steadily becoming more proficient. Think I have a good sense of musicality, rhythm etc. Have been told I am a natural dancer and follow well.

I am young at heart, slim, fit, and as I'm now retired, have time to practise and go to tea dances or evening dances. I have a good sense of humour enjoy the theatre, ballet eating out, playing scrabble, travelling and seeing new places, and the sun.
