Shift into BLISS through dance! Once upon a time, figure skating was my all consuming PASSION. I've always loved being in motion, (ballet on ice, dancing, cycling,...). I LOVE the sensation of what I call 'flying on the ground'. Most of my dance experience has been in free form, some contact improv, and jazz dance. Now I would love to hugely improve my ballroom (partner dance) skills, explore the different styles of dance and eventually become very adept in Argentine Tango. Exercise and have fun at the same time!

I have trained in ballet. Self taught....mostly in the blood Salsa. Open to other genres...love choreography, practice etc... Ballroom and Salsa classics are extraordinary. Having had a lot of years away from the dance floor, I am now looking for a dance partner to enjoy social dancing again. I am a qualified dance teacher but have not danced for over 10 years. I am willing to travel approx.1 hour from Northumberland and hope to meet up 1-2 times a week for dance practice with a view to attend social dance events.

I'm a classical pianist, and I teach and occasionally perform for small audiences and parties of writers, history buffs, crocket clubs and poets. I like all styles and genres of music and playing piano or listening to music and dancing are absolute and inseparable parts of my life.

I'm happily divorced, independent and creative.

I am very easy going, and my life is filled with theater, music, dancing, delicious food, great jokes, puns, occasional smirks and satisfying sarcasms.

I like games, walks, tennis, biking, skiing in champagne powder and skating in Central Park to music (with a break for a hot chocolate - dunk a marshmallow in it, please, and bite into a cogniac truffle).

A lasting relationship, a dance partnership, intimacy, warm hands, a sudden urge to embrace in the middle of a walk in the park or on a stroll through a museum, or with a backpack on a trail - or during a particularly intense moment in a play in the theater, also sitting in the dark with just a moonlight on and listening to music, drinking deep red wine and holding hands - and having complete trust in each other - is there anything better in life?

I'm artistic, active and mostly sunny.

Oh, yes... I live in Greenwich, CT, but I think I left my heart in NY.

I find myself driving to Manhattan several times a week to see a play, an art movie at Film Society, go to poetry festival or a concert - or to a Tango Milonga or a Swing party.

I love to dance and I want to dance more.

I've been studying Salon Tango for about 6 months.

I am energetic and love to dance!

I have a lot of dance experience but I am quite new to ballroom & Latin. I’m looking for a partner with a little more experience than myself as I will progress fairly quickly. Looking for someone to attend weekly classes with and go from there.

I dance 2 to 3 times a week, in private lessons, socials and helping to demonstrate ballroom for beginners. I did some dancing in earlier years (ballet, modern, ceroc, flamenco, salsa, ballroom), but since 2010 I have been learning ballroom seriously. I have gold medals in Latin and ballroom dancing (IDTA and SADTA). I also enjoy social dancing.

I have been dancing in ProAm competitions for the last 3 years in the UK and South Africa.

I've been dancing for about 5 years now but in the last year have gotten very serious about technique and proficiency. Competed the MSO (Michigan Senior Olympics) and did pretty well for a first timer. I've got lots of energy and time to practice, and would like to become a better social follower as well as to improve my competition skills. My goal is to do better than last time in competition and to continue to improve.

I am Interested in all styles of dance. Competed in International Standard for 4 years.

Im 20 years, dancing for 15 years, have S class in international latin. Russian championship semi-finalist.

I have been dancing for about 8 years. I go to Bowie Md to dances I am retired and enjoy dancing, sewing and decorating. I love the beach. I live in a small town and it is difficult to meet people of my age who Ballroom Dance. I am told that I look younger than my age. I try to keep in shape and enjoy walking, bike and exercise.

I started taking private and group lessons at the Fred Astaire studio in Wellington January 2022. I primarily focus on Waltz, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Rumba, and Salsa. I have also done the other normal ballroom dances.

I started going to Renegades (West Palm) and Round Up (Ft Lauderdale) (one or the other once a week usually) to take part in lessons they have a for line dancing along with couples dancing (not as much).

My current goal is to get better at leading and it's impossible to do that practicing alone. Right now my schedule is 1 private class a week along with at least 1 group class a week. I also try to go to Renegades once a week as well to do line dancing. I'm finding that the group classes are helping a lot so my hope is I can find someone that's interested in practicing together. I have a child, 8, that I have 50/50 so and I work a normal 9-5 M-F job so I don't have unlimited free time but I am making dance a priority.

I'm pretty flexible so I'm sure I can make something work with the right partner.

In February I started studying dance in the Bronze program at Arthur Murray. With my background in music and previous pilates training, I am making good progress. I am also studying Argentine Tango outside of my ballroom program.

I am a Latin dancer, who has spent the better part of 15 years in order to understand the intricacies of our craft. My goal is to be part of a a couple with a strong common foundation based on principles that we both agree on. Hopefully together we can find a common understanding and a positive sense of our dance, and have the results follow.
