Learning to dance gives me a way to be more social and most people on some level equate being a good dancer with being more socially developed. I’m taking an online class, working fulltime and I am involved with the church. I don’t have the desire, time or money for romance or clubbing. I am gueiunely looking for a dance partner to train with. The gym I go to has a nice wood floor area that would be perfect for this. I know they allow it because I used the same gym to practice in, when I lived in Amarillo. There are camera’s everywhere, it’s in a nice area and a lot of cops work out there. I know how to do a “Two Step” and “ Waltz” I was working on learning Salsa and West Coast Swing when I moved to Albuquerque. I am also open to learning, “Bachata” I learned some steps over the weekend and enjoyed it. I want to have some moves by the summer, however I need a partner that wants to have some moves by the summer. If this interest you, get in touch with me. I've been taking ballroom lessons and competing with a college ballroom team. I've been competing at the bronze level and plan to move to silver. I dance and compete in both American and International styles.

I danced all throughout my childhood and competed with my dance studio in jazz, ballet, lyrical and tap. I was a cheerleader in high school and on the dance team in college. I also cheered for the Georgia Force Arena Football team for 3 years. I started ballroom dance 2 years ago and have had a blast. I have spent the past few months preparing for my first ballroom competition, only for it to be cancelled.

I have danced competitively for around 8 years total, I previously trained with Paul and Paulene Taylor, Margaret Redmond and Kieran Kelly.

At last competitions I was competing at Intermediate level on the Open Competition Circuit where I have was placing in the finals. Prior to moving up to Intermediate level, we were competing at Beginner / Novice level where I won at Champions of Tomorrow 2015 (Ballroom) and placed 4th in the Latin.
