Took lessons with a partner some years ago, resumed solo about a year ago. Tried several dance forms, waltz, foxtrot, swing,etc and fell in love with East Coast Swing and Salsa. Rumba is a solid third. I just want to move to music and have fun. I do want to find a partner for couples' lessons and practicing together. I make mistakes but find them a great source of amusement. Getting better at my lead and am very patient and supportive with my partner

l love to swing jive at our 1940's club. l went to ballroom dance as a young girl. I can find my way around the dance floor with any partner. The hardest dance for me is the fox trot. l like to take cunard cruises where i know there is a great dance floor . l do not like disco dancing. l occasionally travel to California so could dance there too!

I've been socially East Coast swing dancing since the 1990s in college. Then at the Derby in Los Angeles, and various swing and hangar dances. My regular event nowadays is the 1940s Ball in Boulder, but I am hoping to get more into regular dancing, including Balboa, Shag, Charleston, and East Coast.

I love any kind of music and dancing is my passion since childhood and teenage times.

Dancing is my happy place. I’ve been taking lessons for a little over a year before Covid. And I’m ready to get back in the “Swing”. So far I’ve only taken Swing Dance lessons. But I am open to learning many other styles of dance. I am serious about learning the standard steps but not to the extent that it takes away from my happy place.

Iv been a dancer since I was a teenager. Now I like couple dancing: Argentine Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot, Two-step, One-step, Swing, Blues. My style is my own, as it should be, IMO. It's expressive and nuanced. It doesn't adhere to the standard. Some of my partners think it's pretty good.
