I am happily married but unfortunately my other half is way too tall for me as a dance partner. I love both Ballroom and Latin, my favourite dances being Tango and Slow Foxtrot in Ballroom and Rumba and Jive in Latin. I think I have a good sense of humour but don't we all? Recently I have been entering SupaDance competitions and my partner and I came first in the 35-49 age group team matches at Blackpool - not too shabby for someone my age? My partner has decided to move on to other things. I may not be your ideal match but hey, what could it hurt to try "a spin around the floor"?

I'm currently learning International Style Standard and Latin dances and been completing in both of those as a silver level pro/am couple. I have also completed in American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances at the Gold level as pro/am. In my spare time, I do a lot of social dancing in Country & Western, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy, Argentina Tango, Modern and a few others.

I am taking private and group lessons at difference place around the DC area. I have been told that I have an excellence lead and form, dance floor present and craft, and rapid learner. I'm constantly learning and trying new material in order to give my dancing more dazzle to include tinkling with lifts and drops.

Total AMATEUR except freestyle. I've dabbled with 2 to 3 WCS brief lessons that I haven't practiced and struggle to remember so I need to practice. I’ve been a feeestyle dancer all my life. People used to pay me money to do the twist when I was 4 years old (jukebox quarters heheh). I’ve done some line dancing both CW & hip hop, Cupid shuffle, electric slide, stroke, wobble, and wop. Learned the cowboy cha cha partner dance quite awhile ago and two step, during a CW phase. Dancing is my favorite form of exercise and entertainment. Know a bit of salsa, Cumbia, cha cha, salsa mostly from you tube. I feel I am a quick start and would like to take some classes in WCS and Latin dances I can follow a good lead pretty well.I would love to have a dance partner to learn with me and maybe participate in events.

I have been a competitive ballroom dancer, teacher and performer for over 20 years. My mother was also a professional ballroom dancer. She danced with her brother Art in a lot of the big cities in the United States, But mostly in New York. When I was a senior in High School, I was voted best dancer for the yearbook. Started taking lessons in 1987 at 26 years old. Now 64 and still taking lessons. Work on it as if competing but prefer social dancing. Like most of the dances with a slight preference for the smooth dances.

Hi! I enjoy modern dance (contemporary classical concert performance) and I developed my own technique including singing, called singdancing (dot com). I want to learn and practice more dance styles to augment my choreographic abilities.

I studied at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia, Arthur Murray Ballroom Dance Academy in Tel Aviv, Israel.

I danced in different companies, currently I teach Classical Dance.

I am very healthy, neither smoke, nor drink, have two massage diplomas and work part-time as a masseur.

I've been dancing and teaching since 1993, some Silver American Smooth and Rhythm, some International Standard and Latin. I've hit the road full-time in my vintage Shasta LoFlyte. I had planned to be in New England for the summer but with this crazy weather, I have to admit, I'm kind of scared to travel that far. I may have to tough it out in Dallas, Texas, for the summer.

A dancer across multiple styles that walks and weight trains as part of being physically fit. There are other exercise activities that I’ve done, and would like to find someone who might be interested in sharing a few of them occasionally. I like attending dances at least twice per month, and sometimes life gets in the way of more ... lol ... sometimes.

Regarding the 1 hour of practice four per week listed on my profile, that is at least 2 group lessons, 1 private, and 1 practice at a minimum. I've competed and performed, open to such again, and open to taking lessons together, yet flexible on all of those.

Right now I am focusing on International Ballroom technique with an exceptional instructor. Would love to have a partner to practice with at least on some weekends then go to social dancing.
