Through some difficult and painful life lessons I am preparing to be better at life as a whole and I feel like a champion when I practice dancing(even though I haven't arrived at any medals, etc. yet). My desires are to learn to love all people, to get up after falling and hopefully learn from those experience(s) and finally to improve on the best I can be, while hopefully learning to listen to the genuine wisdom of others to blend with my own to build a better life.

To keep it short I have many interests and yes, I am willing to adapt to new ones within reason....except hard rock and heavy rap music. I am generally a quiet guy but in the right atmosphere can be quite lively and entertaining.

Another thing that I forgot to mention is that I am learning not just to enjoy events, outings, just being quiet, fun times, etc..........but, the most important point is that I am learning to treasure each moment that I am with that special someone and not take time and life and her for granted. ...... .... There is a saying that I learned sometime ago: "The only moment that we have is the moment that we are in" so, "What existed a moment ago has gone" and "will we be here in a moment from now?" Have you ever heard of the song "Love is a wonderful thing" an upbeat song sung by Michael Bolton? Love can be a super wonderful thing!...unless things get messed up then, it's very painful until healing takes place and all is sorted out.....Just some deep thoughts I wanted to share and hopefully help you out. I am happily married but unfortunately my other half is way too tall for me as a dance partner. I love both Ballroom and Latin, my favourite dances being Tango and Slow Foxtrot in Ballroom and Rumba and Jive in Latin. I think I have a good sense of humour but don't we all? Recently I have been entering SupaDance competitions and my partner and I came first in the 35-49 age group team matches at Blackpool - not too shabby for someone my age? My partner has decided to move on to other things. I may not be your ideal match but hey, what could it hurt to try "a spin around the floor"?

I minored in dance in a Performing Arts highschool, but I focused on my majors more. I wish I'd stuck with dance because I love its expression so much. I dance when I'm emotional, and would love to learn more and dance more.

I have been taking dance lessons in ballroom, salsa, cha cha. Rumba, Swing (WSC. ECS), hustle for about three years.

I have practiced dancing Latin and ballroom dance for about ten years now and would like to meet up with someone who likes to dance as much as me.

I dance African rhythms, through Rumba and Son to Cuban Salsa. Also, Argentine Tango.

I'm looking to improve technique and also learn other styles, maybe more ballroom and Latin styles Bachata, Kizomba, maybe even X-body??

I'd love a dance partner and life partner for weekenders, socials and workshops.

I've tried other Latin styles and don't like learning set dance sequences; I prefer to learn the basics and learn to lead the unexpected!

I dance mainly ballroom standard and Latin and New Vogue. I currently live in Queenstown travel a lot to Christchurch for dance tuition. Have had 12yrs experience in ballroom competitions. I have just competed in the 2025 NZ National Championships and retuned home with 2 off 1st, a 2nd and 3rd placing in Masters ProAm New Vogue. I plan to do more ProAm competitions and concentrate on improving my latin and ballroom.

I do like to have a laugh at classes but i do take the lessons seriously. I love to learn and improve my technique even though i had a knee replacement a year ago.. Pre Lockdown I was at a Silver / Gold level standard.

I started ballroom dancing in grad school, where I competed for three years on MIT ballroom team. I've grown to love dancing as a way to relax, work out, and connect with people. I kept with it when I moved to California in 2017, where I got involved in the social ballroom scene and took standard classes with Stephen and Debbie Cullip. Since moving back to Massachusetts with my family, I've kept up with dancing regularly as a hobby.

I danced collegiate ballroom for 4 years alongside East Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, and Salsa. I have competed in collegiate international standard at the silver/gold/open level. Big fan of foxtrot :) Mostly just looking to practice and get some exercise, but I could be open to competing.
