I've been dancing for 15 years (Fred's raised), and I was a former pro 10 years ago (Dance Vision certified), but I renounced my pro status back then. After that, I started to compete in open amateur, but I took a 5 year break because of my career path. I'm currently getting ready for North American Imperial Star Ball to brush off years of rust, but long term, I'm looking to dance American Smooth and/or International Ballroom, and looking to come back to pro one day.

Currently, my home studio I train out of is in Grand Rapids, MI, but I travel to Chicago for coaching regularly, and I'm fine with commuting as I already commute to Chicago & Indianapolis for coaching; relocating for a partnership opportunity within the Midwest is a possibility. I travel to take coaching regularly from Tommye Giacchino, Kristiina Ilo, and Gert Roslender.

I've danced collegiate while studying for my undergrad at Ball State University, and I was one of the founders for Ball State's Competitive ballroom team. A decade ago, I did pro/am, but during my undergrad, I went back to amateur to compete prechamp/champ level in the open amateur categories. I'm definitely eager to pro again, but I'd like to brush some rust off in amateur for a little bit before I come back to pro.

I am currently training in a dance team with a coach who uses Skippy Blair’s unit system. Her focus is alignment, relationship and rhythm as opposed to memorization of step patterns. Moves become an alphabet that I can spell into patterns in any dance language, instead of memorizing salsa language, swing language, two-step language separately. I have been training with her for over a year. Her method is conducive to fusion dance. I am limited in the time I can devote to it at the moment but I do wish to be a competitive amateur in the next 5 years and continue with my coach developing a dance community in Orange County CA. People of all ages are starving for dance venues and training in the respectful complementary relationship between partners that ballroom dance highlights. My dance teacher has some interesting analyses to share about the healthiness of relationships between her wedding dance couples based on the way they dance. I also am fascinated by the therapeutic integration benefits of dance.

I am a massage therapy student and massage has a lot in common with dance if done well.

Basically, I believe dance should be a freeing holistic experience and not enslavement to step patterns. It should be fun and a chance to make a real healthy, positive connection with partners.

I've been told am a good follower and have great rhythm My goal is to improve technique for social dancing, and I am open to training for performance dancing. Currently, I have accepted the challenge of performing a Quickstep routine at the studio I frequent, and ironically Salsa and American Rhythm, especially East Coast Swing, Cha-Cha and Rumba, are my favorites!

I live in Balsall Common close to Solihull (Birmingham way)have previously danced to IDTA Gold Star 4 in both, but need to refresh and relearn routines. About 10-15 years experience all-in, but not much for the last 5 or so. Have kept my hand in (well feet in) occasionally so still have a good overall ability, even if the routine isn't there. I also work away in Manchester for part of the week and often stay up there for a night or 2 - so open to possible partners in the North West if weeknight practice is a possibility.

I'm about 5'10", have never danced competition, and not really sure if that's where I want to go - however I'm willing to give it a try if we work out well. Time for me is limited with a young family, and weekends not very convenience at all, but if a week night suits (including Friday) drop me line and we can maybe book a try-out.

Hello! I've been dancing for about 11 years now and dancing professionally for 5. My last partner and I were competing in RS and Open rhythm for the past 3 years and consistently made a callback at each competition placing in the middle of most groups. I'm dedicated to seeing how great I can become and am always looking for the most productive way to climb up the ballroom ranks.

I am an active, fun, adventurous woman who has always had dancing in her blood. Earlier in my teenage, college, and graduate school years I was very involved studying, teaching and choreographing dance primarily ballet, modern, and jazz styles of dance. Now I am fortunate that I have discovered ballroom and Argentine Tango. Although I do and love many of the ballroom dances my passion is Argentine Tango. I have been involved in Argentine Tango for a number of years learning equally well both the lead (traditionally the man's role) and the follow (woman's role). I like dancing both roles. Knowing both has also been an asset in teaching Argentine Tango and in honing my ability to follow well any leader in any kind of ballroom dance.

My favorite dance is salsa which is what I have the most experience in. I took classes for a couple of years and I take various workshops when I can. I also like other Latin dances such as cha cha and bachata in that order. I know those dances a little but not as much as I know salsa. I'm also open to learning other dances. Besides dancing, I work out 3-4 days a week work 40 hrs and try to enjoy as much free time as possible. For hobbies, I'm into home automation and electronics. I like to travel when I can and I do enjoy watching tv and movies at home and at the theater. I'm also open to trying/doing new things.

I am, who I am a real dancer from the heart that loves to be on the wood moving and shaking to the beats creating movement in motion - pure art. I transform to who I really am on the wood. I want that person and I to become one on the floor.

Loved to dance 4 days a week (Country Western & Ballroom) during college. Recently started taking lessons again but lost my dance partner. Just want to have fun and make memories.

I’ve been taking country western dance lessons for 5 years and go dancing 3 to six times a month. Many years ago I took beginning ballroom lessons and am now taking beginning foxtrot lessons. I love dancing and hope to enjoy it until the day I die!
