I LOVE TO DANCE! I have danced most of my life - Ballet, ballroom, East Coast swing West Coast swing Latin rhythm American smooth Square Dancing line dancing choreographed ballroom hip-hop.

I danced because I enjoy it so much. I’m not concerned about competition although I have done some competing in the past and have done performances as well. I would love to dance with someone who loves to dance yet not so concerned about it that they’re going to be distressed by it. I am someone who knows how to dance well and loves doing so.I also teach dance movement classes for people with movement disorders.

I grew up as an athlete and always had a love for dancing. I started teaching ballroom in 2010 and have been combining my sports background with ballroom ever since. I’m certified in Bronze but have the skill and drive to compete at a high professional level. I also have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which helps me connect with people and bring a unique perspective to training and performing. I’m a happy, outgoing person who loves to smile and laugh. Unfortunately the ballroom I was dancing at recently closed due to COVID-19, so at this time I am trying to learn Brazilian Samba at home!! Two new hips joints in '06 and '07. Started dancing again in 2012 and then moved to rural NE where dance is geared to couples only and there are no venues to find a dance partner.

Ended my dance partner relationship in Oct 2013. Took a new partner in 2015. Learning Argentine Tango and would love to continue.

Dancing should be fun and I always make sure the hard work put in to reach the dancing goals is perfectly balanced with some good laughter, plenty of fun, and lively conversation.

For years I danced and performed in American Smooth and Rhythm socially, but in the past 12 years I have been training in International Standard and Latin with a focus on Latin.

I am extremely energetic, a strong dancer, a very fast learner and overall, I believe I am an engaging performer. I have competed, placing 1st in Nationals in both Silver and Gold Latin and I have tested in USISTD up through Latin scoring in the high 90's. I train weekly with Top Amateur Competitors, Paul and Louise Giuliano, and I have also trained with Professionals, Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach, pros on Dancing With the Stars and Oscar and Lenka Pedrinelli. I am married and looking for a "no drama" partner that enjoys dancing as much as me, one that finds the joy in working hard on technique and one who is all about the fun journey getting there! Competing in the Open levels of competition are my next goal!
