I grew up with Bollywood Dance and trained in Contemporary Dance at Hunter College. I fell in love with Salsa and Bachata during college and learned Hustle and Zouk soon after. I also studied Lifts and Dips with Dave Paris, semi-finalist on America's Got Talent, for two years. I am currently focusing on ballet and strength training. I teach Zumba as well.

I was a ballroom dance teacher during my young 20s and has since moved in a professional field.

Interests: Improvised Partner Dance, Flow Arts, Contact Improv, Performance Dance, Experimental Dance

Goals: I would like to explore improvised partner dance of any form (Argentine Tango, contact improv, etc) with a dedicated and open-minded dance partner who shares my enthusiasm for good music and experimentation.

Training:

I have training in belly dance, ballet, tap, production line dancing, pole dancing, burlesque and Butoh. I have had some training in Argentine Tango and I would like to learn more. I LOVE the freedom of Ecstatic Dance and I attend on a weekly basis. I also have extensive martial arts training, which can occasionally influence how I move. :)

Experience:

I've been dancing since I came out of the womb and I have decades of formal and informal experience.

I have choreographed dance for the stage and I have taught intermediate and advanced tap dance to students (ages 11 to 70). My experience reflects how much I enjoy performance. I am an award winning burlesque dancer and I occasionally perform in the DMV. I am a member of 2 short form improv groups (not exactly dance, but it integrates a lot of what I do best in dance: comedy/physicality/performance.)

I am a free-spirited, passionate dancer who can get really good with the right partner and focus. Easy-going personality with an open mind for fun. Main focus is Latin and Ballroom Dance but maybe swing dancing in the near future.

A passionate dance lover!! I had different forms of dance training such as Ballet for some years. Started Latin dance since recent year.I do both competition and show on the amateur level.. the goal is to improve myself through such activities.. as I just wish to dance and express myself better.

Have done competitions qualified for Blackpool 2015, ballroom and Latin in the men's over 50s, Bronze. Medal.done advanced gold routines, willing to change schools and travel up to 15/25 miles

I am a newbie who is interested in dancing, open to any style of dance although I'm especially interested in ballroom and ballet. My primary occupation is writing stories and drawing imaginary characters, and I would like to share my ongoing stream of imaginative thoughts with you.

I'm passionate about ballroom and latin and have been competing for a few years in medal comps and a few teacher-student proams. I'm thrilled to have won Blackpool Grand Finals last November in my age category, Gold Star level.

I've also done some Argentine tango and salsa/bachata/modern jive in the past. I have excellent teachers and I'm always striving for that illusive perfection. However, in truth I just love dancing and whenever I hear music that moves me I simply have to start dancing (much to the amusement of my friends).

Although I enjoy competitions my main passion is just enjoyment of dance and it would be great to have a dance partner to share this with and to have fun improving together.

I dance every week mostly sequence at the moment.But would like to dance more ballroom which is what I enjoy most.

I train and study almost everyday. Starting to go to every competition I can. I look for and learn from the best, but I also believe you can learn something new from every person you dance with so I'm always looking forward to dance with new people. I travel to competitions all over the country doing Videography and Photography.

I enjoy dancing socially 2 to 3 nights a week, especially "street" salsa, WCS, and two step. Numerous locations in the Tampa Bay area. Would like to meet up with someone for social dancing.

I have been a dance professional for many years and am now looking for a new partner. I have worked for Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray, LeDance, William Howard, DanceLand, Dance Connection, etc. I am familiar with all of the ballroom dances and have done professional competitions. I have been trained and/or taught American, International, and Standard. I additionally have a deep passion for Argentine Tango and plan to go to CITA in Buenos Aires in the next year or two. I enjoy teaching core & dance aerobics with strong influences of Latin, Jazz, and Tribal Fusion. Other dances include Salsa, Bachata, and Lambada. I am very musical. My background includes several years of ballet and jazz with Alan Myles.

I have been socially dancing at salsa clubs for 13 years and just can’t get enough! I had previously performed with a salsa company and loved it. I started taking private lessons about a year ago to really firm up what I had learned so far. I’m proficient in Rumba, West Coast Swing, Cha Cha, Salsa, Bachata, Waltz, and Carolina Shag.

I began training in classical ballet at age three, continuing with tap, jazz, lyrical etc. In college, I began training and competing in both American and International ballroom styles, International Latin, and American Rhythm.

I've danced for 15+ years. I have recently relocated to central NJ and I miss dancing! I am looking for a partner in the area to practice regularly and perhaps compete in standard if its a good match. My schedule is quite flexible for practice and lessons as I am a business owner. I am able to learn and change quickly. I am level-headed, mature, adaptable, and pleasant to work with. I work hard and enjoy the process. Seeking someone with the same approach. I'd also enjoy learning other styles as well, but I'm only trained in standard. I can socially dance other styles. I just want to dance :)
