I competed in American Rhythm and Smooth (all 9 dances) and Internation -Latin and Standard (all 9 dances) plus west coast swing, polka, and hustle.

Socially can dance all of the above plus salsa, bachata and merengue, and west coast swing.

I have completed this year teacher certification through DVIDA the American Smooth Bronze syllabus and currently working on the teacher certification for the American Bronze syllabus through DVIDA .

I love ballroom dance not only because I love to dance but enjoy the health benefits which include mental sharpness, flexibility, cardio pump, and overall improved mood and self-esteem and memory.

I currently teach group classes and I individual social ballroom dance lessons.

I love to connect with partners that love dancing. I have socially danced for decades and have been told that I have a good, clear lead. I have dated a quality women dancers over the years, and I would like to find a life partner in the process that dances. First we dance and see where that leads.

I have been Ballroom dancing for a little over a year at the Dance studio and very little social dancing. I love just about all dances and my goal is to do more social dancing and more competitions. I take about 1-2 lessons weekly and try and attend the group classes when I have time.

I recently graduated college with a diploma in dance, however I’ve trained primarily in non-ballroom styles such as Jazz and Contemporary.

I’ve been training in American Smooth, American Rhythm, and some club and Latin styles the last 2 years and have loved it. I very regularly train both in group classes and in private lessons. I’m slowly working into potentially wanting to do competitions, but I also love social dancing.

I’ve been training as both a lead and a follow, though currently my following skills are more developed.

I would classify myself as a beginner but I would like to learn more and be more professional in my dancing.

I have been dancing for 6yrs, competitively for the the last 4yrs and open couples for the last 2yrs. I had just reached pre-am level.

Tango is life! I would like to find someone who can help me make my business grow. I am very dedicated to Argentine tango, have excellent training and can train the right person to very high levels. Argentine tango is not part of U.S. ballroom competetion, so I cannot classify myself as a silver or gold or whatever. I can tell you though that I have received excellent feedback in Buenos Aires. If you want to compete, you go there not here in the U.S. If I found the right partner, I would try out for the world competion there.

Why I am looking for a dance partner: It's more fun if I can attend classes with someone I know then to practice with new people every time (now that I mind that, but having a consistent dance partner will allow me to grow more efficiently). Other reasons, we get to have an accountability partner, enhancing our effort.

I just started up learning again, salsa and Bachata for congresses and social events, i’m a little awkward but I’m learning hard and trying hard so hopefully things work out. I have plenty of evening time to take classes and to practice with a partner if I find one. Currently in the Seattle area originally from Honolulu Hawaii.

Most of my dance training has been in Zumba classes. While I have not spent too much time dancing with a partner, I can do a lot with a good lead. I would like to dance for fun, and possibly more.

Retired mechanical design engineer. Hobbies cycling and ballroom dancing. Reasonably sociable fellow who likes nothing better than a chat with someone who is congenial. Not usually extrovert but I have my moments. Would like to do more dancing but without a regular partner it is frustrating. I have weekly one-to-one lessons.

I have started balroom dancing when I was 6 years old and have finished before 17. After long brake I would like to come back to dancing so Im looking for a partner. I use to be a very good dancer with experience in around 50 competitions in Poland, Germany or Canada.

I started dance lessons in 1970 and completed IDTA up to 3 gold bar in latin and ballroom, took a 15year break to have family and career returned to complete up to 6 gold bar in latin and ballroom and trained both daughters, danced with them to 4 gold bar and still train to a high standard each week now. I also do a bit of teaching which I really enjoy but would like to do more social dancing and with a regular partner especially as I have now retired from fulltime work.

I recently discovered West Coast Swing. I haven’t been this inspired about dancing in a very long time. I took ballet, contemporary and jazz as a teenager but that went by the wayside long ago. I am very interested in finding a partner who wants to go out dancing with me.

I have a passion or dancing and music. I work during the day at a medical spa and at night I teach dancing or socializing with my friends. People consider me as a loving, honest person who always care for others. I am a down to earth nature girl that can enjoy god's creations and the next dress up for a night out on town. Quiet moments are just important to me as socializing with ones you care for. No matter what you do in life, just do the best you can, that is my believes.

. I'm seeking "tallish" women (around 5'5 to 5'9) who enjoy swing dancing or walking, and don't live too far from Williamsport (gas prices).

* When I'm dancing, I like looking across at my dance partner, not down; and it's easier to get underneath the arm of a taller woman when making a dance turn.

2. MY OWN "BAGGAGE":

* I have really bad hearing, even with the best hearing aids. I can usually hear relatively well on the phone, but in a location like a restaurant with people talking all around or on a dance floor, I usually have problems hearing. (I'm looking into getting a cochlear implant, but currently I don't quite qualify under Medicare rules.)

* I'm NOT a well-rounded person. My talents that are of interest to women are probably limited to swing & ballroom & line dancing, walking & hiking, and possibly visiting restaurants.

* The activities that I spend my most of my time on -- model train automatic controls, building amateur web pages, and making amateur videos -- are activities that most women find boring.

* Personality: I'm a retired mechanical engineer. Applicable joke: "Question: What do engineers use for birth control?" Answer: "Their personalities".

3. OTHER INFO:

* LOCATIONS: I was born in Williamsport PA, although I have also lived in Kentucky, Maryland, Colorado, California, and Arizona (in that order). I have BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University Park.

* DOG: I'm an incompetent dog owner. I now have one 67-pound female staffordshire/bulldog/corgi mixed-breed dog (named Sassy) that I "inherited" from my Significant Other when she passed away. Unfortunately, the poor dog is BORED to death, having to live with me.

* MUSIC: I like Country Rock -- anything with a strong beat, that's good for Swing or Cha-Cha dancing.

I'm learning both salsa and bachata. I want to increase my skill rapidly... and that requires practice.

I have a degree in music. I actually used to teach piano for a living, so I understand how people learn new skills. I can have fun while taking something seriously.

My goals are to become very good for social dancing.

I began dancing as a teenager and have been dancing over 40 years. I consider myself a serious dancer and an excellent follower. I am always willing to learn more about ballroom dancing and especially Argentine Tango dancing. My favorite dances are American and Argentine tango, bolero, and samba. I have experience in American Smooth, American Rhythm, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa. Most of my experience has been at the Bronze and Silver levels simply because of a lack of partners who are experienced at higher levels. My goal is to become more proficient at the higher levels. I am also interested in competing which I have not done before.
