I have background from sport gymnastic from my 6-12ages, contemporary dance for 7 years, after I learned hungarian folk, actrobatics, salsa on2, and zouk. I would like to practise and be zouk teacher.

It is difficult to find the right partner from reading only a bio. I am willing to travel to or part way to test out dancing together. Trying out dancing together along with conversation is, I believe, the only way to find the right dance partner. I trained for 14 years in ballet. Shortly after entering the pro division, covid arrived and we were sent home, as most were, to await further instruction. It was during this time that I discovered ballroom and absolutely fell in love with it. I have been teaching and competing in ballroom for 4.5 years, but have not yet found the right partner; someone who is as dedicated to growing into a partnership thru working together and accomplishing common goals.

I have been taking private lessons for almost 20 years and have competed, performed showcases and danced socially. I try to attend 2-3 practice sessions/socials each week. I like all smooth and latin dances, American and international. I try to attend group lessons and socials at new places when I can.

As a youngster I competed in Scottish dancing which taught me structure, balance, and footwork. I am in top physical condition and I am agile and coordinated. I am fascinated with dance currently as a form of human communication, expression, and communion ... it's the coolest thing. I'm pretty into it ... and I dance whenever I can to any live music I can line up on ... from Rock n Roll to Country Western / Contra Dance. I have a lot of things going on like waterskiing, standup jet-sking, water sports ... basically whatever I want to do ... but dancing is my go to. I have a pretty large private dance studio which means I can practice and work on it when I need to. I have some videos and more pictures I havn't posted yet. Professionally I am a programmer ... which leaves my schedule flexible ... unless I'm being hammered by some critical project. I'm a solid individual and I was married for 35 years until we recently divorced ... she did like to dance a bit ... but we wandered off in our separate ways. She was never as interested in it as I was. All said ... I've only been focusing on my dance regularly ( many days a week ) for the last year ... so I'm just coming up out of novice status ... but I'm learning rapidly and working on my own dances now that highlight my unique set of skills in conjunction with my partner's. Sometimes the dance community brands me as "un-conventional" but others particularly neutral observers encourage along my style of dancing as invigorating with a great message.

I am currently an amateur dancer competing pro/am in American Rhythm and Smooth, some night club, and Argentine Tango styles at a studio near Cincinnati, OH. I have been studying ballroom with a wonderful pro instructor for 9 years and before that danced ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance. He took his first steps at the age of 6 and during that time, he hasa got a wide experience such as education in National Ensemble of Ballroom and Latin dance in Ukraine and Universities of Culture and Art in Kiev, He competed professionally in National and International Dance Sport competitions, consistently achieving top rankings, performed in main stages of different countries all over the world and took a part of the huge television project "Maydans" were he was one of the main assistant of the choreographer for more than 200 people. He worked in Global Top dance studios overseas and together with his students he became a Pro-Am champions in more than 6 countries such as Italy, Russia, Malta etc.

Today, continues to work with numerous artists and dancers across the country and overseas. He has an extensive background in teaching at all levels, from beginners and wedding couples to professional dancers and award-winning artists.

I love swing dancing, the rumba, tango, waltz, and cha cha. I'm learning other styles. Would like to do the West Coast Swing more often. My grandparents taught ballroom dancing. I grew up doing the four-step swing. They tried to teach me the other styles but I never found a partner to practice with. Now I’m taking lessons.

Since age 15, I’ve been teaching groups and individuals at all levels in a variety of sports and movement disciplines, yoga, and meditation. I’ve been an actor at the National Theatre. I am now part of a contact impro dance ensemble. My dream is to create sensual duets, rooted in deep listening. I would love to combine different dance styles, like contemporary and zouk. Regarding language, I am fluent in Norwegian and English. I used to speak Portuguese when I lived in Brazil, so I can probably relearn that quite quickly, and I am open to learning Spanish and French as well (I know some of the basics).
