I am back. After taking a few years off dancing, I've decided to dance again and am serious about finding a partner and dancing again.

Im originally from Leicester and London england and am British trained dancer with specialty in international latin but also interested in salsa and bachata and social dancing in general. I had recieved training from Karina Smirnoff, Goran Nordin, Max Kozhevnikov and other amazing teachers more recently.

I'm currently learning International Style Standard and Latin dances and been completing in both of those as a silver level pro/am couple. I have also completed in American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances at the Gold level as pro/am. In my spare time, I do a lot of social dancing in Country & Western, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy, Argentina Tango, Modern and a few others.

I am taking private and group lessons at difference place around the DC area. I have been told that I have an excellence lead and form, dance floor present and craft, and rapid learner. I'm constantly learning and trying new material in order to give my dancing more dazzle to include tinkling with lifts and drops.

Starting with medals as a child I have danced on and off all of my life. I competed at Amateur level in Australia for 10 years (International Ballroom and Latin) but stopped 4 years ago. Now I live in the US and I miss my dancing! I’m considering a return to competition but want to start with finding a compatible partner to share lesson costs and practice with. Started with Bush dancing, went onto Ballroom, then picked up Ballet, Jazz & Tap. About 10 years ago I picked up R&R & Swing Dancing. I am still part of a Tap Troupe, I teach during the day in my own business, & I dance R&R & Swing socially with weekly lessons, & I attend CPD workshops in blues & solo swing in Melbourne regularly (I am the lead mostly so I can keep burning the dance floor all night). Processing a recent loss, taking life one step at a time, not quite back to dating yet, although will soon.

Enjoy multiple dance styles, walking and weight training as part of being physically fit. There are other exercise activities that I’ve done, and would like to find someone who might be interested in sharing a few of them occasionally. Regarding the 1 hour of practice four per week listed on my profile, that is at least 2 group lessons, 1 private, and 1 practice at a minimum. I've competed and performed, open to such again, and open to taking lessons together, yet flexible on all of those.

I am looking for a dance partner who would be interested in dancing in Rock 'n' Roll, Swing, Westcoast Swing, Ballroom or Ceroc.

The styles of dancing I have done are mostly Rock 'n' Roll and Swing. Have done ballroom in the past and enjoyed ballroom very much but did not have a partner to continue ballroom with so I stopped. I have also danced ceroc and will be going back to get into again as this style of dancing is a mix of rock 'n' roll, latin, swing and salsa. It is very interesting and sexy at the same time.

Right now I am focusing on International Ballroom technique with an exceptional instructor. Would love to have a partner to practice with at least on some weekends then go to social dancing. I used to dance many years ago and decided to return to the floor over this last year. I danced in the Medalist of the Year competition (IDTA) this year and made the national finals at Blackpool where I was placed 2nd in ballroom and 6th in Latin.
