Started ballroom at 10 , parents ran a social dancing club for 16 years, I hit into Lindy hop in the late 90s then expanded to west coast blues tango

I am a passionate man regarding life in general but I have two passions I pursue as interests. One is dancing and the other is photography. Both are conducive to keeping in good physical condition and also help to keep me young at heart. I have concentrated on being a very good lead in dance while keeping the dancing fun. The photography gets me out hiking in nature and seeing the world through the eye of my camera. I started dancing 13 years ago after my marriage ended. I had always wanted to dance but never did. I didn't want to sit at home and mope or live a life of bitterness so when I saw some dancers out having a wonderful time, I decided this is what I wanted to do. I do have some dance teaching experience as a sub for instructor friends. I am now semi retired and am wanting to pursue my dream of photography and possibly teach private dance lessons.

I started taking ballroom lessons on a cruise in Sept 2007. I fell in love with it, I haven't been in classes since December, and am looking for a partner to dance with, any day and any time. I just want to dance and get better.

I've taken a Beginning Ballroom class for 1 semester as well as 3 full semesters of Argentine Tango (Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced - with Chelsea Eng) at City College of San Francisco in 2014-2015. Since then I've been practicing at practicas, attending milongas and partaking in any class I can. My ultimate goal would be to compete, perform and teach. As far as transportation, I am very limited and in hope to find someone in my area or someone willing to travel to where I'm at.

I started dancing to impress a girl, and it worked. I took a couple salsa lessons and then she dumped me for a ballroom dancer. I started ballroom dancing in Ventura. I have take lessons and participated in two teacher training programs and am full bronze in most ballroom dances. I want to continue working to finish silver. I would like to teach again, but its a dirty game.

I'm a single guy never married who loves ballroom and latin american dancing. I was professional in the very late 70's and a trainee dance teacher in my teens, this did not work for me at the time as I loved my dancing more than I did teaching, a fact that my teachers recognised. I used to dance at the North Twenty Dance school in Barnet and was lucky enough to be a member of their latin american formation team (1st reserve) that won the world formation championships in Blackpool in the late 70's, as a result of that we were asked to dance on the Carl Allen awards programme by the BBC together with the Peggy Spencer formation team, so I have had my 10 minutes of fame...lol. As a person I am happy go lucky, laid back, good sense of humour and I enjoy nothing better then a nice evening dancing. I am open to other styles of dance and I have tried Ceroc and Salsa, I would try Salsa again but I was not impressed with Ceroc at the venue I went to. I took medals under IDTA and reached 4th Star, did not attain my 5th star as I was concentrating on competition routines with my then partner. I have had a break from dancing for the past 2 years and would very much like to spend much more time dancing again.

I started dancing about six months ago to build confidence and expand my comfort zone, and fell in love with salsa! Nowadays I try to do something dance related at least 4 times a week, between going to lessons/socials, teaching newbies, or going out to dance. Most of my learning is through informal lessons (i.e. learning new patterns) and through youtube.

I'm fairly new to Ceroc and I'm looking to progress with someone who enjoys dancing but doesn't take it too seriously.

I had a phobia about dancing for the first 50 years of my life. I really love music and watching people dance, but I couldn't ever dance in front of anyone. My daughter needed me to learn Salsa with her, where I met and befriended a blind man, who has inspired me to get over my shyness and discomfort of learning, because it is always harder for him.

At this point in my life, I am hungry to learn new moves, try new dances, be a better follower, and improve my level of dancing skills.

I really enjoy Cha Cha, Modern Jive, Rock n Roll and have just started to learn Lindy Hop, Ballroom and some sequence / new vogue dances this year.

I like competitions. I specialize in standard and smooth but fantasize about competing 10 dance occasionally. I am currently in Phoenix, AZ focusing on the basics of movement in order to truly compete at the champ level. I am willing to fly to try out over a weekend.

At Star Studios in Bentleigh I'm Doing 3 Latin classes, 1 private Latin lesson, and a New Vogue class each week. I also do a Latin class at Rhythm dance in Thornbury each week, and the occasional social dance.

I'm wanting to compete in Maters 2 Latin C grade initially. New Vogue or/and Modern is optional.

I have been learning all forms of ballroom for two years. I have la good foundation in the latin/ rhythm dances which I have competed in with my instructor. I hope to continue learning with an amateur partner so I can get more practice and develop further. I'm not married to one path or type of dance at this point.

I have ban ballroom dancing since 2001 I fowned from the beginning that it's something that I love to do social and even did a cupola of show cases all though it has ban a will for the later.

I love all types of dancing and have been dancing for quite a while. My focus is Argentine Tango now. I'm a semi-retired engineer who's flexible and teachable ;-)

I've taken dance a good portion of my life. I do tap and ballet, some jazz, and taught beginner ballroom dancing in my early 20s. I just really want to make dance a bigger part of my life, especially partner dancing. I'm a single, working mom, so I don't have a lot of free time to search for a dancing partner. Hoping to find one here and see how it goes!

I enjoy many types of dancing but my keen interest at the moment is to improve my ballroom and latin. I am probably intermediate level but pick things up quickly. I would love to get more practice and would be interested in attending classes or weekenders.

I am into Latin dance and music. My favorite dance is Cuban salsa, and want to learn more west coast swing and some ballroom. I've been taking lessons for sometime now, but the lack of consistent practice partner has held me back.
