I am a social Argentine Tango and Ballroom Dancer in search of a dance and life partner. I live in a great place, on the beach on the closest in Island of the Washington State San Juan's, but not too many ladies who want to dance come knocking at my door. I miss having a dance partner, having someone to practice with, go to dances, and go places and do other things with. My passion is Argentine Tango, am better than average Tanguero, take more advanced lessons and have been to thirty Tango Festivals. I also DJ Tango Milongas, with original 78rpm records, and sometimes Ballroom Dances, still keep the other dances fresh too. Mostly dance in Bellingham, Washington, we have a great dance community there, but have been know to stray to Seattle, Portland, Oregon and Vancouver BC, Canada. A few years ago, I spent three weeks in Buenos Aires in November, had a wonderful time, love to go back I truly enjoy the deserted beach in front of my house, having beach fires, shooting off fireworks, picking up beach glass and agates. Recently acquired a 1936 Taylor/Piper Cub (little yellow airplane) project, , going to restore it and go flying again. I enjoy all the dances that I've listed but my dance passion is more for Hustle, Nite Club 2-Step, Std. Tango, Cha Cha & Rumba. I've been missing these dances the most with a good dance partner! In the last 7 years I jumped more into Country 2-Stepping & WCS, which I have fun with also. I would enjoy finding a good dancer at my level or better to meet me at some of these social dances.... then go from there!

I've always loved to dance for fun. Recently I took a series of salsa lessons and really enjoyed them. I'm at a point in my life where I have the time and money for lesson and going out to dance, I just need a partner. I would like to continue taking lessons, go out dancing for fun, and maybe work toward competing as an amateur.

I have been active in ballroom and Latin dancing for a few years now. Earlier, I did some competitions as an individual (with a teacher for a partner) but more recently just social dancing. A variety of dances is what I like best but if I had to pick favorites they would be Bolero, Samba and Viennese Waltz. The American Smooth and Standard dances come most naturally to me but I have spent much more time practicing American Rhythm.

I’ve enjoyed training in ballet, tap and hip hop through my teen years. I dance with my partner any time I get the chance but I really would like to learn more and spend more time dancing and my partner is not available for this.

I was taking the Lindy hop class at the Avalon ballroom in Boulder before Covid, and I miss it so much. Would love to find someone for general practice. I’m a nice person, a musician and a mom. I think I would classify myself as a beginner or intermediate dancer, but I am a decent follow and pick things up!

I love Country music, but will dance to just about anything. Started line dancing in 2000; learned to two-step; know the basics of West Coast and East Coast Swing, as well as Night Club Two. I am part of a line dance team, but would enjoy getting back into some partner dancing again. Goals are to enjoy evenings out with friends listening and dancing to music.

I'm probably an all-around dancer. I like to dance Ballroom (waltz, Viennese waltz, tango, etc.), Latin (rumba, chacha, swing, paso doble, etc.) and Argentine Tango. I am probably a little bit deeper in Argentine Tango. I have been taught by many Argentine Tango masters. I've also mastered quite a few maestros techniques, i.e. reverse Sacada, dynamic Ganchos, Enrosque and Rhythmic Tango, etc. I can skillfully execute 8-Pillars of Argentine Tango. I'd like to share my dancing skills with my partner.

My 37 years of dance experience is in classical ballet and liturgical dance. Along the way I have tried Argentine Tango, Irish, French club, Latin club, Flamenco, Modern, Jazz, Viennese Waltz, Polynesian, and many others just for fun. Dancing is a passion for me. I took up Ballroom and Latin in 2005 and I began competing at beginners and novice level in 2008. In my first competition I managed to win first place and, although I'll admit that my experience is limited, I've always made the top three.

I haven't danced in a while, but when I was actively pursuing it I went twice-weekly to a school in Wimbledon which offers classes aimed at budding competitors and high-level social dancers. These sessions focused heavily on technique, so you might find that I'm more advanced than my experience suggests. That said, my Ballroom is much stronger than my Latin. To be honest, I'd prefer to skip Latin altogther!

To give you an idea of my outlook, I'd rather dance simple steps with good technique than flashy choreography poorly.

Off the dance floor, I work as an aviation journalist. I'm interested in psychology and would prefer to read than watch TV. I'm confident, intelligent and independent.
