I have a varied and extensive experience in Ballroom dance (not necessarily continuous) covering 20+ years. Have competed pro-am and formation. Participated in theater productions as well. Returned last year from a 6-year hiatus and have retained a private instructor with the goal of returning to competitive dancing. Expectations for this year are at least 2 comps at open level.

I've been dancing ballroom since high school, 15+ years, I competed in college, but haven't kept up with my dancing in the last few years. I've mostly been dancing salsa and some argentine tango recently. I would like to get back into my dancing again and learn some new moves and dances, possibly compete or perform. I just love being on the dance floor using my creative energy through dance, it's great therapy and exercise!

My primary focus in dancing is Argentine Tango; it captures me in a way that no other form of dancing does. My goal is to become the best milonguero around; I do not have much of an interest in competing. I am branching out to other dances (I'm learning contact improv, a very fun, silly, and bruising--eeep!--form of dance, and would like to dip into swing, salsa, and non-competitive ballroom again), and would like someone who could help me out with thembut tango is, was, and always will be the thing that has captured my heart.

I was dancing as a professional ballet dancer for three years, as a folk dances for 8 years in National Company, as professional tango dancer during last 26 years, and I'm school director in the first school of Ballroom Dance American style in Argentine, forming and training professional instructors since 12 years ago and now I ‘ll living in the Miami city.

Love dancing - ballroom, latin, salsa & rock'n roll,ceroc,done some theatre work, tap, ballet etc, will learn just about anything. Have danced in one form or another most of my life. Had taken silver medal test-Latin & Ballroom (passed HC, as in all other tests) and my dancing partner quit, for personal reasons,to my huge disappointment. Have just re-started lessons, I learn well, am strong and athletic, with style. Rather rounded rather than super slim, but find regular dancing all helps, so that will improve!

My preference leans toward East Coast Swing. I am Bronze level in Waltz. Have also taken lessons in; West Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Hustle, Salsa, etc. I am a non smoker and a non drinker and I have no association with drugs. I am a retired Manager from a large corporation and I am financially sound and emotionally stable. I enjoy dancing very much and take lessons 2-3 times a week and go to dances on week-ends. I would welcome the opporunity to have a steady dance partner where there is connection and chemistry along with mutual respect. I would be willing to relocate for the right person. Very driven, motivated, disciplined and can commit up to 5/6 days a week (including weekends) for practice if local. I own my own dance company so traveling during the weekend might become more challenging but will make something work if we had to do this.

i have 5 sisters so i started with freestyle and watched Fred Astaire growing up and always wanted to be smooth. i started with country line dancing, but once i saw country two step and west coast swing i was hooked. i have given up on being the best and learned to be the best at having fun. after all these years of dancing, some of the most important things are really listening and dancing to the music and the same with a partner. also very good fundamental basics.

love to dance! I have always danced socially and competed in hustle at one time. Lately working on samba routine with a lot of gold and silver content. I love a challenge and never tire of dancing. Looking for serious dancer willing to put in the time and interested in both smooth and latin.

I have 2-3 yrs of Ballroom plus 8 yrs of childhood dance (jazz, ballet, etc.), 8 yrs of gymnastics and throw on a few yrs of fitness competitions so I am WITHOUT 2 left feet (have some rhythm) and pick up quickly. Took ballroom lessons late 70's. Stuck with Latin Hustle (called syncopated hustle now), cha-cha, swing -- since that's what everyone danced in the clubs--prefer Euro music beats (disco/dance music); this music complements hustle. Rusty on the traditional ballroom so I've gone back to refresh. Dance for fun/social--not the competition (any more). As for my background: born in Italy, grew up in Elizabeth NJ, lived in Virginia and have been in Georgia for quite a few years.
