reasonably talented dancer, want to do standard or latin or ten dance in senior

Hi. I'm a college lecturer who loves dancing. I'm an amateur dancer with a brief background in ballet and ballroom dancing (and latin). I have been dancing since 2013. I competed in Blackpool 2014 for the first time and was a finalist for both ballroom and latin under bronze. Due to personal reasons, I had to stop dancing for a few years. I've missed it and want to return to dancing. I'm a hard worker and despite my job, I am willing to train and practice.

I have just begun dancing after relocating to FL. from NYC after raising 2 kids, getting divorces, selling my businesses, etc.

I danced as a child, and professionally as a young adult. I have rediscovered my passion! I could dance full time with the right partner. I have accomplished all of my dreams up to this point and now would like to take on the challenge of learning, practicing, and competing to excellence.

I love to laugh, live to the edge of boundaries, try new things, take risks, and learn. I bring passion, great sense of rhythm, humor, discipline to the dance floor.

It would be my "dream" to dance with the proficiency of Yulia Zagoruychenko. So far, I constantly push myself to new heights. My long term goal is to get my splits. I could make the following short term goals: Moving up the next class level

I have dance ballroom dancing for 9 years .3 years of Latin , 6 years of ballroom and smooth. Compete pro-am for 8 years.

i have been dancing for about 18 months, mainly ballroom as well as latin american. I am very passionate about dancing and currently have practices about 2 times per week, although I also try to practise at home when I am off work(despite my busy working life).I have seen people in the dancing competition and it has always been my dream that some day I can enter into a competition myself. i have got distinction in my recent silver medal exams and highly commended in specialty waltz. By profession i am a scientist (cancer research).

I have taken part in various competitions. San Diego, Las Vegas, Riverside, san luis obispo, San Francisco, Berkeley, Arnold classic, Mich comp,Ohio Star Ball, and qualified for nationals (chicago NQE) for Novice and prechamp level in 2014. But after that competitive dancing stopped for 5 years and then covid happened. I am looking forward to brush up my dancing and looking for a dedicated, partner. Its important for me to have a good chemistry with her.

I am a lawyer living in the Chicago area. I take classes at a local Arthur Murray studio about 3 time per week. I consider myself to be an intermediate dancer, around Bronze III level. I am open to learning new dances but so far I am schooled in Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Swing, Rumba, Cha Cha, Bolero, with a little Salsa, Bachata, and erengue.

Danced Oldtime and Ballroom from aged 3 and Latin from aged 7. Gave up dancing at 18. Started Line Dancing 1990 and still enjoy to Linedance. Have danced to high level competing at London Wembley Ballroom in both Latin and Ballroom aged 13 in the Dance News and Recall grand finals. Currently looking for dance partner for Ballroom and Latin social dancing.Currently attend a well known Dance school in Hull.

Such an out of date profile I had so here's and update: I have been dancing for quite a few years mostly enjoying shows and performances. Mostly its been about the enjoyment of dancing. However a few years back decided to do a comp in Blackpool and won the Waltz and Jive. Have done a few other competitions in the following years doing fairly well. Its still about the love of dancing for me, but the competitions sharpen you up, and can be good fun.

I would like to find a partner who would like to go an compete on the one circuit, get some decent routines together and to become as good as possible, considering I didn't start doing this at the age of 4 !

If its worth doing then its worth trying your best, so I would like to give that a go with someone fairly like minded.

I have been dancing since I was a kid. Mostly country. 2-Step, waltz, a little swing, but nothing too fancy. I am always wanting to learn. I am currently working on International Standard dances and have worked on American Smooth previously. I have extensive competition experience all over the United States. I am serious about my dancing and competitions and prepare vigorously with my partners. I am driven and dedicated to refining my dancing, and I strive continually to improve. I have 3 National titles. 1st place Bronze International Standard (2007), 1st place Silver International Standard (2007), 2nd place Gold International Standard (2008). I've also ranked 5th Nationally in Novice (2007). I'm currently dancing at the Pre-Championship level of International Standard. I have won numerous local and regional competitions.

I just split with my Ballroom Dancing partner and am relocating to China for at least a year and am currently looking for a new partner. I will most likely be returning to the S.F. Bay Area.
