I danced at Arthur Murray for 6 months and that's where I first learned.

Then went to Two Left Feet studio in Danville, CA for lessons. I have about 2 years total experience in most of the ballroom and Latin dances. I've taken a lot of lessons during the two years so have ramped up kind of quickly to something approaching "intermediate". Although my skill level varies depending on what dance it is. ;-)

I've done two "formation" performances.

I am passionate about dancing and music. I am doing Pro-Am International Latin competition currently. I play piano, enjoy outdoor activities, hiking, sight seeing.

I started dancing around five years ago with instructor Luis Perez in Backstreettango Studio in Tacoma WA . When I improved my dancing skill I began attending a tango classes and Milongas in other studios in Seattle , Canada and Tango festival in Oregon.

I was twice at Tango Festival with Jorge Nel Giraldo in Colombia and Tango at Sea with Diana Jensen.

I fell in love with the tango dance and I’m regular at the local dance now.

starting with social ballroom and from there to competition for some years. after that I changed to street latin. my current interest is to get more proficient in A tango and zouk.

I performed Jazz dancing and choreographed musicals when young. I wrote for 2 dance magazines and covered ballroom competitions. I began taking ballroom dance lessons. I later founded the OC chapter of USABDA. I danced for several years and then due to multiple circumstances, did not dance for 15 years. About 1 year ago I began dancing again. I'm hoping to find someone who will help me get back in shape and have fun with. The latin dances are my favorite.

I am a college student going for computer science and I have been socially dancing for over a year now. I want to kick it up a notch and learn more. I want to become a better dancer and try my hand at competing as well as improving my social dance skills. I value the social aspect of dancing greatly. Dancing can be hard work, but it should always be fun. I am most interested in Swing and Ballroom styles, but am willing to try other styles. I learned ballroom dancing (waltz, cha cha, swing, foxtrot) beginning when I was 12 years old. Unfortunately, rock and roll free style dancing became the popular dance. So I went decades without using my ballroom knowledge (much of it has now faded.

Tried to renew my dancing in 2005 with lessons in east and west coast, but my girlfriend/partner at the time only wanted to do freestyle, so I slipped away again. Rid of her in 2010, I started taking salsa and west coast lessons.

I started Argentine tango lessons in 2012, and I'm hooked....it's my favorite. I still like swing and cha cha very much, but tango is what I'm addicted to. I love the musicality, the connection, the necessary ability to think 2-3 moves ahead in choreographing the dance. I try to dance 3-4 times per week.

I'm also willing to do salsa, waltz and nite club 2 step, but not very well until I take more lessons.

Women tell me I am a strong lead in Argentine Tango, Cha Cha and Swing.

I feel learning is best through two avenues, having a dance partner to practice with, yet dancing with many different people to learn the good and to avoid the bad traits. It is most fun with a good partner, who also has great connection with you.

I just moved to UK. Didn’t choose the club and teachers yet. I have been training 2-7 times per week 1.5-3h at time. I don't know my level in UK, but in Europe it is C in Latin and Standard. Now I have been dancing for 6 months, before that I had 3 years of brake. There is a long time, since entering comps. But I would love to compete again. Can’t wait to find the right partner.
