Beginners dance class and practice

I took ballroom and line dancing before pandemic and hvnt since so I am rusty but still love the sport but can’t find a class that will accommodate singles.

Am Just interested in Social Dancing maybe throw in the odd Lesson. I am a Dance Host on the cruise Ships from time to time..

I love to dance and have dipped my feet in various styles of dancing. I am learning to Tango and really enjoy the commitment Tango requires. I train once a week and may consider increasing how often I train and would be open to competition or performance with the right partner.

While I enjoy Waltz and East Coast Swing, I would like to focus on Salsa or Cha Cha with a partner. I'm very easy to lead and I pick up steps quickly.

Started dancing as a tot, ballet and jazz. Attended HS of Performing Arts in Manhattan. Learned country at Denim and Diamonds in NY. Tango in AZ. Love music and can’t sit still when it’s playing would love a partner I can ashare this with.

I took about 4 months of lessons recently (2 times a week plus some social dancing). I can do the basics for Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, Tango, Hustle, Salsa, ChaCha, Swing, and Bachata - I may need a refresher as I stopped lessons and prefer to do this with a partner. There is also a place that does West Coast Swing and I went to one class and it was fun. Starting with lessons and social dancing but would eventually like to do performances and perhaps even competitions after I'm a lot more fit. I'm considered curvy - right in between regular clothing sizes and the smallest rack in the plus size places. I wear L/XL/sz 16 dress/40D. I can keep up just fine but I want to dance regularly enough that I can get down to smaller sizes and feel even more confidant. But losing weight is not my primary goal - it's a hoped for side effect for the love of dancing.

I studied ballet from the age of 6 to 16. Then later did modern and jazz. I stopped when I went to college. Then n 2015, while I was living in Austria, I started some beginner courses of ballroom basics and loved it. The best moment was when we did the Viennese waltz. I have done a little Latin but all the more advanced courses required a partner and lots of practice.

I’d like to dance well enough to enjoy salsa socials. I’ve taken a few lessons and I am picking it up quickly. I grew up dancing to House, Calypso, Hip Hop, R&B, Salsa.

Did dance in college for fun. Was a TA for beginner ballroom for a couple years. Loved to LA recently and wanted to get back to dance, while maybe learning some news one in the process!

I've started attending Salsa/Bachata classes from 21st August and have been doing 3-5 sessions per week, every week.

I attend the Incognito group classes on a Mon, Wed, Thu., Salsa City group classes on Thursdays, and then Bachata Exchange followed by Bar Salsa straight after on a Sunday.

I'm very determined to be good at this and find it hard to do it alone and would really appreciate a regular partner that I can practice with a couple of times per week (or even once).

I am not advanced but I'm passionate and stubbornly dedicated enough to have worked my way up to improver/intermediate level in such a short amount of time since starting.

I am looking for a partner who is proficient in dancing and patience to work with my lack of dancing background. Now that my career has settled, I just discovered not only that I have an interest in dancing but also that I have (literally) 2 left legs. If you are open to work with my awkwardness, please let me know & I would love to give this new hobby a try. My favorite dances are N.Y. Style Salsa on 1 and Hustle. I dance two private lessons and up to three group lessons a week. Dance clubs other nights of the week in Latin & Rhythm. Received Full Bronze in American Style: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and ECS with Honors from DVIDA, thanks Jordan. Working on Full Silver in Salsa and Hustle. One Showcase under my belt (Hustle), had a BLAST! White suit and all. Mentors are Billy Fajardo, Shay Dixon and others. I enjoy nature, camping, and hiking. Have done the PA Appalachian Trail and would love to do the Georgia/N. Caroline trail. I'm fascinated with Astronomy/Astrology, All living things catch my eye. I thoroughly enjoy cooking for my loved one's, but can get by with a sandwich/soup/salad. Painted my first "oil", a couple dancing the Tango, a friend immediately framed it. Too my interest in life and not enough hours. If I only could clone myself. I'm a rather reserved soul seeking truth, passion and the moral way not just for America but the Universe. I've learnt my basics when I was little, but never progressed far. A year ago I started learning again and would like to go as far as possible. I'm passionate about improving my technique and practicing, hoping to learn and eventually compete. I learn fast and am willing to put time and effort in to improve. I may, on occasion, provide a sense of humour.
