I am an IDTA teacher, qualified & teach Ballroom & Latin, & run my own dance classes in Shepperton, (near Staines) Middx. I have taught people from all ages & walks of life, from complete beginners to advanced medallists. I am not able to or wish to compete. Also have knowledge of other styles of dancing including Popular Sequence, Modern Jive, Argentine Tango & Salsa.

I am a relative newcomer to the dance world who started competing in Silver International Standard, Silver American Smooth, and Bronze American Rhythm in 2010. I take private instruction in Smooth once a week and private instruction in Standard once a week.

I danced on the ballroom dance team in college. We covered most of the standard and latin bronze syllabus and started into silver before I graduated. I tried to maintain that level on my own for a few years but became discouraged when I couldn't find a steady partner. So I figured I'd try this! I have not danced consistently in over four years (as of Feb 2018), so I'd like to find someone with whom to review the bronze syllabus and to eventually surpass my previous level! I'm very technically-minded so I love learning and practicing technique! Nothing beats that feeling of perfecting a new figure after learning it and working on it with your partner! My intention is to get back to the dancing community, re-familiarize myself with the syllabus, and improve from there. One near-term target is to become a proficient silver-level 10 dancer. I'm open to practice/train for a few hours a week.

I am a long-time intermediate dancer in East Coast Swing. Enjoy going to Glen Echo, Chevy Chase Ballroom, and Clarendon Ballroom. Would like to learn more Latin steps (other than Salsa) and Lindy. I am not interested in competition.

I started to learn ballroom dancing in my 20s and again started to learn Salso a few years ago. Now, I am learning Bachata, and am willing to learn more if I find my partner. I really enjoy ballroom dancing. I have had several years of lessons with Studios in Alaska. Was unable to progress due to lack of 'follows' (NOT allowed to do a step with a dance partner who had not tested out of that step). Retired to MS and not found opportunities due to resent COVID restrictions. Looking to 'relearn' and hopefully progress. Love to travel (cruise) and would like to be able to enjoy dancing on ship.

I am interested in many types of dance. I have some jazz and modern training and have done some amateur partnered performances in those styles.

I have taken American and some International style Ballroom and Latin classes. In those styles I dance Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Samba, Cha cha, Jive / Swing, Mambo, Merengue and Salsa.

I have dabbled in various ethic dances, having belonged to a group that used to teach one or two dances each week. I greatly enjoy English and Scottish Country Dancing.

I currently am dancing American Style Ballroom and Latin as well as Scottish Country Dancing.
