Started in ballroom then East Coast swing/lindy. Spent time in Houston Tx. and really took a quick liking to West Coast Swing and Country Western. Would love to improve to a competition level in any of the above, however first and foremost comes the joy and fun of dancing, so i don't get overly serious and restricted by technical issues, rather dance to the music and make sure we both enjoy the dance. Love to improvise and work on new steps. Really like the smooth international dances and WCS. Between group lessons and open dances I currently dance approx 2-4 nights a week. When playing golf I have been known to dance between Golf holes also.

I am a very good east cost swing dancer (former member of Cincinnati Bop Club...my waltz isn't to bad either. I dance for fun not for perfection. I'm here in Green Bay for 3 months. Home is Cincinnati.

Dancing is my passion! I started in 1986 with ballroom standard/latin and hustle, since 2012 I've been dancing intensively Argentine Tango, and started with free improvisation, but I have tested and danced a number of different dances, too. Thus, I am interested in a wide range of dances, it also depends on the preferences of the dancing partner.

I am also open to dance festivals, tango marathons, dance vacations etc. My dream is a stay in Buenos Aires or on Cuba.

As here in my region of Stuttgart I can't even find a handful of suiting ladies, I am not subscribed.

Tanzen ist meine Leidenschaft! Angefangen habe ich vor etwa 30 Jahren mit Standard/Latein und Disco-Fox, seither habe ich vieles ausprobiert und getanzt (Tango Argentino, Milonga & Vals, Salsa, Merengue & Bachata, Forró, Rock'n'Roll, Ceilidh, Volkstänze). Tango Argentino tanze ich nun seit 2012 intensiv, parallel habe ich mit freier Improvisation angefangen. Ich bin immer mal wieder mit einer Hobby-Formation aufgetreten, z.B. auf Bällen, zuletzt 2011/12 mit einer Jive-Formation mit ballettartiger Choreografie inkl. Hebefiguren im Rahmen des Jubiläums einer Ballettschule sogar in einem richtigen Theater mit etwa 600 Zuschauern. Ich habe an (leider nur) einem Breitensportturnier teilgenommen und wäre prinzipiell auch für Turniertanz offen. D.h. ich bin tänzerisch sehr vielseitig interessiert, es hängt eben auch von der Tanzpartnerin ab.

Ich würde gerne Kizomba und West Coast Swing (WCS) (kennen)lernen.

Offen bin ich auch für Tanz-Festivals, Tango-Marathons, Tanz-Urlaube etc. Mein Traum ist ein Urlaub in Buenos Aires oder auf Kuba.

Ab und zu bin ich zu Besuch in Berlin und gehe auch dort gern tanzen. Ich besuche auch gerne Tanzveranstaltungen in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung, vor allem in der wärmen Jahreszeit Open-Air-Milongas.

Da in meinem Umkreis hier in Stuttgart nicht einmal eine Handvoll passender Damen zu finden sind, habe ich mich bisher nicht angemeldet, bin aber auch woanders zu finden, z.B. bei tanzen jetzt Punkt Netz (auf Englisch übersetzen und zusammensetzen ;-) ).

I've been dancing ballroom since high school, 15+ years, I competed in college, but haven't kept up with my dancing in the last few years. I've mostly been dancing salsa and some argentine tango recently. I would like to get back into my dancing again and learn some new moves and dances, possibly compete or perform. I just love being on the dance floor using my creative energy through dance, it's great therapy and exercise!

My primary focus in dancing is Argentine Tango; it captures me in a way that no other form of dancing does. My goal is to become the best milonguero around; I do not have much of an interest in competing. I am branching out to other dances (I'm learning contact improv, a very fun, silly, and bruising--eeep!--form of dance, and would like to dip into swing, salsa, and non-competitive ballroom again), and would like someone who could help me out with thembut tango is, was, and always will be the thing that has captured my heart.

I train latin dance and salsa. Dance is my biggest passion and I would like dance were also my job.

I am an outgoing, enthusiastic, advanced-level dancer. I am in good shape having been a weight lifter since I was 14 years old and currently dancing three nights per week. I look much younger than my age. I pay attention to style and technique. Since I am retired (formerly a mechanical engineer), I have time to practice during the day.

Love dancing - ballroom, latin, salsa & rock'n roll,ceroc,done some theatre work, tap, ballet etc, will learn just about anything. Have danced in one form or another most of my life. Had taken silver medal test-Latin & Ballroom (passed HC, as in all other tests) and my dancing partner quit, for personal reasons,to my huge disappointment. Have just re-started lessons, I learn well, am strong and athletic, with style. Rather rounded rather than super slim, but find regular dancing all helps, so that will improve!

i have 5 sisters so i started with freestyle and watched Fred Astaire growing up and always wanted to be smooth. i started with country line dancing, but once i saw country two step and west coast swing i was hooked. i have given up on being the best and learned to be the best at having fun. after all these years of dancing, some of the most important things are really listening and dancing to the music and the same with a partner. also very good fundamental basics.

I have 2-3 yrs of Ballroom plus 8 yrs of childhood dance (jazz, ballet, etc.), 8 yrs of gymnastics and throw on a few yrs of fitness competitions so I am WITHOUT 2 left feet (have some rhythm) and pick up quickly. Am married not looking for any type of relationship other than dancing. I live 50 minutes North of Boston, will travel. I am athletic, eager to dance, learn, practice, have fun, improve and am open to competing. Looking for someone who has at least 3 years of experience, but the more the better. I am a person who could best be described as a "ballroom junkie". I like to dance both competitively and socially. I will travel far distances for both lessons or social events. My main interest is American Smooth.

I have done solo showcases and would welcome someone who would do it as well, but it is not a priority. My concentration in smooth/standard leaves my Rhythm technique lagging behind, but from a social standpoint, it is adequate.

I am of Panamian descent, raised in the U.S. but always feel a pull when I hear Latin music. I've taken Salsa and Bachata lessons on and off. I travel to Spanish-speaking countries and can dance with the locals but feel I am limited. I was disappointed with the speed of group lessons and decided to take private, the $100/ 50 min price tag drove me to seek a partner and online course to get to the point where I can benefit from private lessons.
