Through some difficult and painful life lessons I am preparing to be better at life as a whole and I feel like a champion when I practice dancing(even though I haven't arrived at any medals, etc. yet). My desires are to learn to love all people, to get up after falling and hopefully learn from those experience(s) and finally to improve on the best I can be, while hopefully learning to listen to the genuine wisdom of others to blend with my own to build a better life.

To keep it short I have many interests and yes, I am willing to adapt to new ones within reason....except hard rock and heavy rap music. I am generally a quiet guy but in the right atmosphere can be quite lively and entertaining.

Another thing that I forgot to mention is that I am learning not just to enjoy events, outings, just being quiet, fun times, etc..........but, the most important point is that I am learning to treasure each moment that I am with that special someone and not take time and life and her for granted. ...... .... There is a saying that I learned sometime ago: "The only moment that we have is the moment that we are in" so, "What existed a moment ago has gone" and "will we be here in a moment from now?" Have you ever heard of the song "Love is a wonderful thing" an upbeat song sung by Michael Bolton? Love can be a super wonderful thing!...unless things get messed up then, it's very painful until healing takes place and all is sorted out.....Just some deep thoughts I wanted to share and hopefully help you out. ***My dancing background includes 14 years International Latin, 8 years in American Smooth and Rhythm, 14 years in Salsa and Bachatta. I used to compete Pro/AM for many years and have been in the ballroom scene for the last 20 years.

Learnt Indian folk dances in childhood and took classes for salsa, bachata and tango in US. Really enjoy meditating experience of latin dances.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. I am looking for someone to practice with; who loves dancing, and is looking to have some serious fun, while we work together in perfecting our dance steps, technique, and trying out new moves. I mainly dance for fun but I am working on technique and styling in order to dance at higher competitive levels. My dancing really accelerated this year with excellent pro's for instructors and coaching. I'm competing in 2 step, cha, nc-2, wcs, ecs, triple 2, and waltz; and American Tango, and rumba. I have a dream and a plan to perform partner dancing with lifts and tricks...creating a platform and sharing a message of freedom and passion, starting locally and then around the country and world. In 2024, created and performed live event “Voiceless” using cabaret dance, theatre and song. See photos. Competed at the Ohio Star Ball November 2024 winning Best of the Best in cabaret. I love all genres of music including country western from my roots in Kansas.

I have been dancing and singing musical theater for many years. I have also been involved in something called contact improvisation. I am extremely eager to find a regular committed dance partner so that I can become proficient and have wonderful experiences with Latin and ballroom dancing on a regular basis.

My name is Luisa. I dance International Standard on Champ level with rich competitive experience. I am 175cm, slim, professionally looking on the floor, as well as hardworking person. Recently, I turned from Pro to Amateur to continue my dancing carrier in senior category.

Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never had a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle.

I have a natural talent for dancing and enjoy it very much. I have been taking some form of ballroom dance lessons now for 10 yrs. I enjoy dancing with partners at my level and dance at studios about twice a week.

What can I say, dancing is my passion. When I am not dancing I am dreaming about dancing! West Coast Swing is my favorite, but country 2-step & line dancing are a close 2nd. I'm currently teaching WCS, and country partner & line dances a couple times a month and hold a social dance once month. I also teach at the local country bar. Retired dancer owner instructor performer competitor..mostly Latin.. especially salsa..some ballroom.. yes i said i was amateur its time ro return to being a student..nowadays just want to practice and go out to nightclubs and enjoy but am very much into lifts drops side by sides footwork old school salsa different styles..I still have a vision..also inflemuences in jazz etc..freestyle locking jazz..I can still move very well and I understand and feel music and love performing naturally and seeing the inspired reactions from people who are escaping their hard days including myself.

Started with Bush dancing, went onto Ballroom, then picked up Ballet, Jazz & Tap. About 10 years ago I picked up R&R & Swing Dancing. I am still part of a Tap Troupe, I teach during the day in my own business, & I dance R&R & Swing socially with weekly lessons, & I attend CPD workshops in blues & solo swing in Melbourne regularly (I am the lead mostly so I can keep burning the dance floor all night).
