Hello; I have a dance background in Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap and trained many of my younger years in NYC. Since re-locating to NJ there was no where to continue classes unless commuting to the city which was to difficult for my work schedule. Since then I became a martial artist to keep my stretch and athletic movements as kicks etc. I do not have much background in Partner dancing skills but would love to find a compatible situation.

Professional Ballroom and Latin dancer, artist, choreographer, instructor. He took his first steps at the age of 6 and during that time, he hasa got a wide experience such as education in National Ensemble of Ballroom and Latin dance in Ukraine and Universities of Culture and Art in Kiev, He competed professionally in National and International Dance Sport competitions, consistently achieving top rankings, performed in main stages of different countries all over the world and took a part of the huge television project "Maydans" were he was one of the main assistant of the choreographer for more than 200 people. He worked in Global Top dance studios overseas and together with his students he became a Pro-Am champions in more than 6 countries such as Italy, Russia, Malta etc.

Today, continues to work with numerous artists and dancers across the country and overseas. He has an extensive background in teaching at all levels, from beginners and wedding couples to professional dancers and award-winning artists.

I’ve been actively attending classes on West Coast Swing and have moved beyond the newbie stage. I’m taking regular private and group classes, attending social dances, and committed to progressing steadily in both technique and connection. I love the balance of structure and play in this dance, and I’m always up for thoughtful practice, musicality drills, or just grooving to a good song. I have been a dancer most of my life (primarily ballet, but also some tap and jazz when I was younger). In my professional life I am a music theorist and teach at a university. I started ballroom dancing about 20 years ago after some ballet injuries. I started with American smooth and rhythm, then switched to Latin and standard. My primary focus over the last number of years has been standard. I quit dancing during covid and just started up again less than a year ago so I am a bit rusty. I am currently taking classes and private lessons, and hope to make up for lost time! At this point, I'm concentrating mostly on International Standard. At some point I might like to start competing again, but for now, some family commitments don't allow for the time needed for that. So I stick to social dancing for now. I'd be open to possibly sharing lessons with my instructor or yours. I go social dancing primarily at Dance New England in N. Chelmsford, Sabor in Wellesley and SuperShag in Waltham. After 8 years of teaching most dances and styles, I want to go back to performing, and consider competing, if that's my partner's desire.

I started dancing at the age of 14 and have been dancing. on and off, ever since. International style is my favorite. I also enjoy American Style and Theatre Arts. What matters to me is, that both partners enjoy what they're doing and striving to be the best they can be.
