Have done ceroc for over 10 years including training beginners. Have tried lots of different dancing - ballroom, salsa, tango not to any really advanced level but am keen to improve my ballroom. particularly like Latin - cha cha cha and rumba

I danced Latin American and ballroom from 10-14yrs old and competed in local competitions. I have recently taken up dancing again but really need a partner to help me improve. My favourite dances are cha cha, waltz, tango and quick step although I am keen to learn samba and jive. I am looking to dance mainly to keep fit although when dancing I do like to perfect my technical ability, I may consider competing in future, if I ever got that good!!

I have taught dance for years & currently I'm enjoying teaching beginning social ballroom & line dance to adults as well as some children's dance classes. I started dancing in 2014 in a medallist school. I competed at medalists competitions. In 2018 I moved to open competition and danced in Ballroom and Latin at Intermediate and Pre-Champ.

I am a zumba instructor, so love to dance, and love Latin rhythms.

Most of my experience is social and club dancing, although I had a few inexpensive swing dance lessons in Nashville, TN area and enjoyed what I learned and then practiced a few hours after the lessons were over each time. I want very much to learn more Latin style dances and Argentine Tango and want/need a partner who can help me achieve those goals while also just enjoying getting out and dancing on some sort of regular basis. Dancing is my favorite form of fitness, and I want/need to make time to fit it back into my life as it helps me be all around more positive, active, & happy. I am open to & interested in learning many different styles of dance.

I've taken dance classes and got out social dancing on and off for years. I have had different dance interests and my goals will depend on the chemistry that I feel with the person.

Although I enjoy latin dances, I especially love the ballroom dances & I've competed in several national competitions. I'm looking for someone who's interested in attending social dances & practicing with me. At the moment I do 4 group and individual lessons at my dance studio each week. I work full time as a professional & travel with work. I love how dancing puts a smile on my face, as I can have workaholic tendencies.

I started dancing 7 years ago with a long-distance partner, dancing whenever we could get together. We can no longer meet up, but I am now hooked and just want to continue dancing regularly and improve. I go to weekly classes and have private lessons, but it would be so much more fun with a regular partner to learn with and dance socially with!

I am musical with a good sense of rhythm and I learn quickly. I like to do things well, but do keep my sense of fun when learning difficult things! I have enjoyed everything I have done so far: ballroom, Latin, some sequence, a smidgen of Argentine tango, salsa and modern jive. I do enjoy sequence and learning routines - but the freedom and musicality of freestyle dancing now appeals more, and that's why a regular partner is on my dance wishlist.

I started ballroom dancing at age 15 in Germany and couldn't get enough of it! I took a break and then started getting into Salsa, Batchata and Merengue. I would love to go back to ballroom dancing.

I have been dancing since I was a child, Ballet, Tap, Rock and Roll, Ball Room, Salsa, Modern Jive, Blues, West Coast, Malonga, Argentine Tango. My goal is to improve at Argentine Tango as much as I can.

I am getting to the not pathetic stage in my dance training. I am doing Rumba and Waltz for an Arthur Murray showcase so I have a few of the Bronze 2 steps. After showcase I will start checking out of Bronze 1.

I also have the basic West Coast Swing steps down. My current passion is West Coast Swing. I would love to find a regular practice partner in the College Park area.

I go to workshops and I just do not quite get the move down, so I need someone who will practice with me in the social dance that follows.

My instructors tell me I am a smooth lead and easy to dance with. The credit goes to them, It was not always so.

Late starter and an enthusiastic begginer started dancing last October.

Extensive foundation in ballroom dance (training, performance, and competition). Former member of BYU Ballroom Team 1985-1989 (performance tours through Asia, US, and Europe; Blackpool Latin Formation Champions & Silver Medal World Latin Formation - 1989). Inrntl Standard training with Stephen & Elizabeth Cullip ('89-'94) and Kathryn Schaffer ('00-'03). Amateur Championship-level Standard competitions through 2003. Social dancing since then. I also started training by myself in 10-dance off and on since 2018, and with a syllabus-level Latin partner in 2021 (training with Latin pro in area). For my age bracket (Senior III) I would do very well (based on national comps I've seen). I also work out and stay in decent shape.

! I am a former competitor and former teacher. All forms of Country Western and West Coast Swing. Social Ballroom and some Hustle. I have been out of the dance world for some time. Interested in learning more ballroom and Argentine Tango!! Interested in continuing growth in all my dances. Dancing brings me a lot of joy and happiness. I think if everyone danced more, we wouldn't have the problems that we do in the world.

For many years in many different cities I've always been interested in attending the local salsa classes, and I have always appreciated how welcoming, patient and kind people have been.

But now that I'm settled in Edinburgh and I've enjoyed a few months of classes, socials, and a particular liking for bachata, I'm now keen to improve with more practice, and especially more consistency (as the classes naturally change routines each week, and I can quickly forget the great things I've learned).
