My yoga teacher invited me to a free dance party at Fred Astaire about nine years ago. I was instantly hooked - dancing is so much fun, and I really wanted to learn how. Initially Cha Cha was my favorite, but I've become proficient at Waltz, Tango and some Foxtrot. For fun I also enjoy East Coast Swing, Merengue (my own version), Rumba, Salsa and Bachata. After trying a few studios, I found an independent teacher, and have been focusing on social Salsa, ECS, WCS, Bachata as well as ball room dancing for the last three years or so. I've done a few competitions, but not really my favorite thing (although I am open to it).

About six years ago I started taking WCS group classes and although I liked it, it took some time to figure it out. Since then I've worked a lot with my teacher and now absolutely love it. I go out socially with her to practice, and we often get many compliments - plus the occasional person asking me if I am a teacher (that's a nice feeling).

Most recently started to learn Argentine Tango, and Lindy Hop.

Hi, I have danced for around 9 years starting with modern Jive but mainly modern ballroom, latin and know many of the popular sequence dances. I want to as well as I can while enjoying it at the same time. Not really interested in competition.

Recently moved to Singapore. I dance on a regular basis, particularly salsa. I also like jogging and swimming, as the weather here is quite good to practice this sports.

Hello, I'm currently in instructor training. My goal is to learn ballroom from the ground up so as not to form bad habits. I love this art form and wish to do it justice. I actually have no plans to teach formally although I would like to volunteer to teach kids through local school or community programs.

April 21, 2012 UPDATE: I have just signd a lease for my own ballroom studio in Las Vegas, NV. Obviously I will be busier than ever overseeing this new adventure in an 8,000 sf., three ballroom facility but I must continue to dance;) I would like to encourage anyone who may be coming to Las Vegas to contact me so we can connect in some fashion. I do need a serious practice partner !! Additionally, to be a well-rounded studio owner, I believe I need practical competition experience. Perhaps you can help me with that!

BTW, while I am already blessed with a supremely talented staff, in the very near future there may be an opening for another instructor who upholds the highest of standards ;)

My place opened in July, 2012 and is a dream come true! Housing 3 studios (each complete with superior floating floors) - the biggest being a regulation competition size ballroom with with NO obstructions. Now, all I need is a dance partner:)

I enjoy all kinds of music, including folk, jazz and classical. However, listening is not enough, I need to participate! When I'm listening to music I often feel the urge to dance. For me, dance is fun, dance is exciting, dance is meaningful and spiritual. Dancing is a wonderful form of leisure. I became more serious about dancing about four years ago, taking lessons in Chicago. Since then I've become interested in swing, Waltz and the ballroom dances. I'm a fairly good salsa dancer too. And I love polka! I am a management consultant and author living in Chicago, enjoying dance at least one night a week.

I toured the world with my husband dancing, competing, and teaching. Our specialty was hustle, salsa, theater arts. We started a dance team, trained many teams, and won many awards. My husband passed away tragically from a car accident almost 3 years ago.

My dance background started at age 10 dancing Ballet and Jazz. Dancing style has changed over the years to Meregue, Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, Argentine Tango and Rhumba. Presently am learning Rhumba and my favorite dance so far is Argentine Tango. My goal is to go out social dancing a little more often and to have a dance partner to practice Argentine Tango.

I have started dancing Latin and Ballroom when I was 5, then had a long break but still continued various styles of dancing like contemporary and ballet training and performing, 1.5 years ago I have returned to Ballroom and Latin and would like to take my dancing to the next level.

I live in Bakersfield and enjoy all types of partner and social dancing. Would love to get back into square dancing. Also enjoy bike riding, walking, other outdoor activities.

I strive to be the best dancer that I can be! Very easy to get along with. Many goals, wanting to achieve. I've danced in rising star American rhythm and would like to get back out there! Currently an All-star west coast swing dancer/actress/ model. I await my Mr dance charming. (in all things it takes two)

I have danced all my life but did not take professional lessons until about a year ago. I have been taking private and group lessons since then. We do a variety of dances, rumba, salsa, meringue, tango, fox trot, samba, waltz, cha cha, east coast and west coast swing, hustle, Argentine tango, bolero, passé doble. bachata.

Love to dance? I have danced sporadically throughout my life and I enjoy learning and adapt very quickly. Currently, I am in need to shake off the rust and get back out there! I am looking for someone who wants to train and work to improve. I have been dancing for the past 3 years.

I am 36, 5 ‘8’ w.o.s. Based in Liverpool. Dedicated and hardworking dancer seeking a partner for competition after a break. Used to compete in university competitions and also open circuit (Pre-Champ and Amateur level). Looking for a partner in Latin to compete in senior level. Unfortunately I am not able to relocate due to work commitment but am willing to travel around North West for practices and lessons. I would like to practice 2 times and one lesson a week and travel across the country and compete as often as possible. Used to be trained by Margaret Redmond and Rachael Heron. I don’t mind having guest lessons with other teachers but would like to continue training with Margaret.

I danced modern techniques years ago when I was in my 20s, and have always enjoyed dancing socially in clubs ... albeit not too frequently once I got into my 40s :) I started Argentine Tango during the summer of 2018, and I have become fairly obsessed with becoming a decent dancer.
